No need for a PM! Karl at CV!
I get an email from him telling me about the flavouring for the Lemon Coconut Cream Cake etc., and then at the end of the email he says:

"Tell Terry the Caribbean Trifle is still in development its a tough one to crack, well what I want the flavour to be."

So my jaw drops and I'm wondering how the heck?

 How the heck indeed  I know i have mentioned it to them a couple of times like Where is it ? But i dunno how they have linked you to it ?

Maybe karl is secretly following this thread .;)

Well, if you've never mentioned me to them, perhaps they do read it sometimes! No doubt companies can glean a lot of feedback from forums.

I'm glad if that's so, because it's good to know we like what they make!
I think it's safe to say that there's been very little that has disappointed - I know I like a lot of their stuff. I've actually tried it all except The Disciple :)

So, there you have it - the Trifle is 'under construction'. The QOP apparently took a year to perfect until he was happy with it, so just sit back and it'll appear when it's ready!
As long as it isn't a pineapple/banana trifle, I'll probably like it too! Thinking about it, the trifle crossed my mind when I saw the PMP: Passion Fruit, Mango, Papaya ...that's tropical! Perhaps that emerged from a prototype!

I told him about that Chocolate, fudge ripple & vanilla cream ice cream I read about ..never know, he may concoct something along those lines!

Only kidding of course, but it has twisted me mellon a bit. And yeah, no nanana`s please, had enough with ian and his bloody nanana`s :p

Anyways, bedtime for bonzo now so nighty nite all :)

I've often wished Chefs Vapour had a sub-forum here. I think they use Twitter/Facebook a bit, but like many of us, I don't.
Perhaps they get enough feedback to judge reactions ...don't know, but there's been a few times I've wanted to ask odd little questions.

Whatever, they're a brilliant company and I hope they continue to be a success.
I like the ones that keep in touch with things - most are helpful, but a few are extremely so.

Thinking about the message for you, it's funny, and rather nice that a supplier is so aware :)

Being unsure at first as to whether you'd actually mentioned something, I just thought I'd wind you up a bit about it by not actually mentioning Chefs!

Now, How does it go ? `One day trisha, One day` !

Off topic. We went into town on friday, and i mentioned to the wife that i gotta change the filters in our fish tank, as it is looking a bit grubby. So off we toddled to the pet shop where i was talking to the owner about the filters i needed. Then the wife comes and says, look at This set up terry, it`s really nice with the unit etc.

And she was correct, it was a really nice set up ! So where i would have spent around £20.00 for all the new filters, we actually spent £240.00  Tank and unit £200, then of course she had to have new ornaments, gravel etc. :?: So total = £240.

He delivered it the same day, and the cabinet was a flat pack. The man tells me there will be no instructions, to which i replied `well they are bloody useless anyway`

Anyhoo, yesterday i unpacked it and bloody heck i didn`t have a clue where to start  So after a lengthy conversation on the phone, i managed to put it all together, four and a half hours it bloody took me.

Next i have to put new wood flooring in the sitting room, as the one we have now is looking very tired. so i will have to get that done before i set up the new tank etc, otherwise i will be emptying it, to move it. Isn`t it funny how one job turns into about three !!!

Flat packs are a standing joke - I hate them.
You'd think that after the years of complaints, companies would learn to produce instructions that are comprehensive and visually easy to follow!
Even the ones with line drawings are often nothing like the part they refer to!

One simple job is never just that! ;)

I have just been looking at THIS For my mvp, as it`s narrower, i reckon it will look better than a kayfun. Have you still got your taifun Ian ?

I certainly have mate, it's permanently loaded up with GVC :D

Mine is the Taifun GT (genuine....cough, cough). To be honest, the genuine Taifun GS didn't get as good a review as the GT. A lot of people thought it was a fiddly build and preferred the vape quality of the GT. I'm really happy with the GT though mate, think I've only had to clean and rewick it 3 times in the 12 months I've had it. Probably run about 90mls of GVC through it so far.

I can knit, even made dresses in my teens without a pattern - and that's marginally better than knitting (cloth already made, just need to sew it together) ...but I learned how to strip and French polish antique furniture, put tiles on in bathroom and kitchen, wallpapered, painted, sawed wood, hammered nails and used a power drill ...but wrapping wool around thin sticks, poking cotton through a metal eye, pushing a lump of hot metal over cotton shirts ...nah!

No, he runs true to his own ideas and I appreciate that. Totally different thing, but I refuse to do commission work apart from a rough idea of size and main content!

I'll bet you could taste all the components in the QOP right away ..I did. Only thing that changed was the blackcurrant got a little stronger. Lovely :)

I think those are rather beautiful ones ..and to me, they're nicer looking than the Reo's. I'm hoping someone does a good fixed battery one in that lovely red metallic at some point!

The Wife makes her own knitted dresses too. In fact she's made a few up for special orders for family :) I'll stick to doing the sanding, tiling, decorating etc

The other thing that impresses me about Clark's juice, their not the usual run-of-the mill flavours - all nice complex blends.

I'm being good and making sure the CV juices have a really good steeping/airing first - so I've not tried them yet. They smell lovely though.

Sometimes, like Terry, I just want the convenience of a regulated mod. I do like the shape of the Hana mods. I'm not keen on the box mods that have the display on the bottom though, the way some of the newer ones seem to be. I always try to keep my vape toys upright, so it goes against my instincts to turn a box mod upside down to check the display

You mean the Nano kit - shorter chimney etc

No from a UK site Aerovape

It is the same Bob. But on the FT site is listed as a "custom top cap Kayfun" - doesn't look much different to a normal Kayfun to me

 How the heck indeed  I know i have mentioned it to them a couple of times like Where is it ? But i dunno how they have linked you to it ?

You should take something for that cough mate. I know what you mean about it looking fiddly, but i want a tank that is slimmer than a kayfun, and so far i have only been able to see that one and the kayfun mini, what bob linked.

I actually tried an evod on the mvp, but the draw is just to tight for my liking. Any other ideas mate ?

I love me chefs mate, and you are in for a royal treat with the QOP, gorgeous. :)
I dont mind eating them Ian, but when it comes to vaping, nah you can stick em, i better not say where.
When tanks have leaked in the distant past, it has always been all over me mate.

Just had a look on FT, the only other slimline tanks are drippers that I can see. So sorry can't help on that one. I wouldn't totally rule out the Taifun GS, it's just that I've seen more people prefer the GT. When I bought my GT, the site only had a limited supply of the GT, but plenty of the GS :D

The QOP, does smell lovely mate. I'll probably be loading it up this weekend. Must admit some banana vapes can taste a bit acidic. But the NT one and my DIY one is really nice, no acidic taste at all ;)

Yep, don't mix up the fish tank and the vape tank. You can't fit a fish in a coil

Off to bed now anyway, got a 6am start. So see you tomoz mate.

Is it a CV section? You have to sign up to find anything there.
I do see a dedicated thread at UK Vapers that I didn't see before. Not a lot been said very recently though.

The Wife makes her own knitted dresses too. In fact she's made a few up for special orders for family :)
A dress? oh yes ...think I can just about remember wearing one of those - I honestly think it was around 89/90 ...and perhaps a few cotton skirts on holiday.

The other thing that impresses me about Clark's juice, their not the usual run-of-the mill flavours - all nice complex blends.
He comes up with some very unusual things, and others that are never quite like anything even similar elsewhere. It does get to me that I can't use some of the really great ones by themselves! (The Virus, Wakonda, Frenilla, & quite a few others)

Sometimes, like Terry, I just want the convenience of a regulated mod. I do like the shape of the Hana mods. I'm not keen on the box mods that have the display on the bottom though, the way some of the newer ones seem to be. True, it doesn't seem natural to turn something like that upside down. The little iStick is great having the display on the side and showing every time it's used.
I'd not want anything more complicated than those and the MVP's - just like the beautiful colours on those such as the Hana. The two coloured iSticks are very nice though.

CV is watching you
Even if their not members of the forum, a quick google throws up results from ECF, so they could have seen it that way.
However it is, I don't mind - never say anything detrimental, and most often it's something complimentary.
It's nice to be able to ask questions directly over at the NT section here. Would be nice to have similar with CV - they seem to be expanding and evolving with new flavours and products, and they're really helpful - a forum presence would be very nice. Perhaps it would be too time consuming ...I do see Clark catching up on the forum when I first switch on in the morning between 10/10.30 ..and it would be after 4am there! He probably sleeps late too. He's worse than me

Don't dis the nananas Terry  Lovely as a snack as well as a vape.
I know what made me buy the Banana Pudding from NT: the picture! It was a glass dish full of custard, sliced banana & cream...delicious! I love barely ripe bananas, sliced with cereal, alone, in desserts, custard tart and with lemon jelly! :)

I actually tried an evod on the mvp, but the draw is just to tight for my liking.
Pity you need one that you can rebuild. The mini Nautilus and the MOW are both very good and have adjustable airflow.
You can get a Protank 2 and an airflow controller for it - they're single coil.

____________________________________________________________________________________

The past few days, something has affected me badly! Had a number of pretty awful breathing issues and needed to take tablets and inhaler. Felt quite miserable with it today, and it's occurred to me that it could just be QOP ...blackcurrants! I can't use blackberry, apple or lime, and not a lot of strawberry or raspberry. I do think it may be that and if so, I'll be really sad about it! :(
Once I get back to normal, I may be able to use it on occasion after a week or two.

I've looked out something pretty simple: Bombies Black Out City (had it for at least a month or more) it's a VG lemon & menthol. Says berries too, but can't really taste any ...just a fresh simple lemon menthol. I'll stick to simple things for a couple of days! Perhaps some RY/Confusion tomorrow and something with cake!
I'll stick with my Mint Choc Vapetto and Posset too ..should manage to settle things down with those.
I got three Bombies before Spiritus got them: Black Out City, Kiss The Ring (custard type), A Real Nightmare (tobacco/cinnamon/menthol) that was a smaple they included-not sure about the smell.

Trish, i just refuse to buy tanks like that anymore. I had the authentic protank, and the clones, when they first entered the market. I liked the idea of re-building the heads myself, but even doing so, all i ever got was gurgling and leaking. Bloody rubbish and a waste of time and cash IMO.

Since i started using kayfuns etc i have never looked back ( never ever ) have any issues with them, and again it is only my opinion, once they are set up correctly they give the best vape ever. :toast:

So sorry you are having issues again trish, it does seem to be indiscriminate doesn`t it. :( I hope it isn`t the QOP, as i know it is one of your favourites, and mine too. I have really been giving it some stick over the last couple of days, And nearly run out of it now :( But i want to try the lemon coconut thingymajig when it arrives, before i order again.

Did yours arrive yet trish. ?

I must admit, I've had my fair share of problems with all but the Evod and MOW. Even the mini PT2 can be a bit off at times.
I have quite a lot of boxed new tanks that I got while at special prices only to find that after a week or two, the ones I had started to give problems! I may give them to one of our sons to sell at Ebay!
Usually, getting plenty in hand works well for me with things I like, but not with those!
I may get a few more MOW's. I have three mini Nautilus (one unused yet) and they're OK.

Since i started using kayfuns etc i have never looked back ( never ever ) have any issues with them, and again it is only my opinion, once they are set up correctly they give the best vape ever. :toast:
Well, best stick with what you like and works well for you :)

It's at times like these - and there are too many of them - that I do wonder if I should have ever stopped smoking. I have to be honest, I felt and functioned far better before I stopped! Now I get these terrible congestion and breathing problems with a number of things, have the concentration/focus problems that some do get, am not sleeping as soundly as I did, and get dry scaly patches on my skin!
I got none of those things with cigarettes and I was generally a healthy, happy and hard working person in total focus with my work.

No, I don't want to start smoking again - I just want me back again! :(

Did yours arrive yet trish. ?
They had a problem with delivery of one of the flavourings - they were promised delivery for Monday, and it will be sent straight out. It will need to steep though!
Now that is what Karl told me, but seeing you have PG/VG, if could be that yours did get made & sent.
If it doesn't arrive tomorrow, it's likely yours is the same as mine and waiting for flavouring. It'll be sent quickly though as soon as it does arrive :)

Is the magma from FT Bob ?? I was looking at picking one up to modify for BFing for the Reo.

I see Bob already showed you where he got his from but thought I'd chuck in that the magma from FT (the 1:1 version) is excellent. My most convenient dripper for volume of juice it can hold. Leaks v. slightly out the airflow and gets in round the back of the airflow control ring but usually doesn't go anywhere after that so I just wipe it down every now and again. Only leaked down onto my mod once when I think I overfilled it or just didn't look at the airflow ring for a day or two.

although I haven't actually read through it, just remembered they were on one of the forums, I don't think you have to sign up to see it, just to add to it.
