Tell it like it is Terry, shall be his name from now on
 'tis true!

How to light a fart - YouTube

There you go Trisha, now you can see why it has to be in a clothed state  Scientifically it does work, mainly methane. But the position of the lighting source and force behind the evacuation are both important too. Not enough force, nothing happens. Too much force blows out the lighting source or well lets just say other possibilities :lol:
Oh - right! ...and I thought I did mad things with the Bunsen in my teens!

Well that's a coincidence Trisha. My Vmod atty went pop yesterday too. I'd only just put it in the day before too. Must have been a bad one :( I think the holes at the bottom where the juice feeds up may have been blocked. I squonked it, took a draw, got a pop then awful dry hit. Not nice at all :(
First time I've had a duff V2 ..and came in a new tank too! Changed it last night as I'd had enough of it and it's perfect! (Lemon Coconut Cream Cake).

Did the same with the nautilus and although better, it's not perfect. Think I may have a bad pack of 5! It was from the first lot I got from FT - the ones that disappeared after I'd ordered mine! Hopefully, the ones listed there now are OK - haven't tried mine yet. I think I'll try one next time and see what they're like.
The bad one I removed was horribly fouled up down the chimney ..looked like one that had been in there for a week instead of a day ...it's in the one with Mint Choc Vapetto, so they only last around 5 days, but never have that much rubbish down the chimney on the mesh!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tried the decently steeped Chefs PMP again this morning - still seems to have the Mango in dominance (I think it's the mango: a rich fruity resinous taste). We eat a fresh fruit salad regularly that has mango and pineapple in it and this tastes just like the mango pieces.
Eventually I added around 15% of the Straweberry Vapetto and it's suddenly extremely nice! :) The delicate strawberry and waffle cone seem to have tempered the resinous flavour and it all tastes more rounded with a very slight creamy tone.
These fruits do at least seem to agree with me!

Ian, the sheer choice of flavourings appearing on the Chefs site should be like flavour heaven for you ....there seems to be some of everything in both straight flavourings and blended concentrates, and still more to come apparently. They've begun adding 100ml bottles of some too.

They'll also now make up the Pink Spot ones into ready to use bottles: Pink Spot Mixed By Chefs Vapour

Talking of coils popping etc, my coffee and cream has started to taste bloody rank :( I put a lower ohm coil in on saturday, and it was fine at first, but two days in and it tastes awful.

I think i will open it up and take a look cos something isn`t right.
Ooh! Not good! Track it down Terry! :thumb:

Done it trish :) opened it up and it was like a scene from apocalypse now  The coil was really gunked up, and the rayon didn`t look too pleased either . I think what i may have done wrong when i put the new coil in, is start vaping it straight after filling it, rather than let it sit for a while to allow the rayon to get fully soaked. This probably burnt the rayon :( Anyhoo, will see how i get on with it now it is all new again ( won`t touch it till tomorrow morning ) :)

You know something trisha ? You put me in a right predicament with these two lemon vapes  I had a nice session with the chefs before, and i have just picked up the lemon bar, and in all honesty, i can`t decide between the two of them  I just love the cakeyness of this MBV one.

The wife is always calling me indecisive

Sounds a bit like that BVC one of mine - looked like a lot of tealeaves down the chimney! I'd let it sit for a few hours too before using it.

I'm a bit peed off with the atty in the Vmod popping so soon. I know I didn't overtighten it, I never do. So it had to be a manufacturing fault. The attys normally last me 2-3 months, not a day or so :( I can only think that the juice feed was blocked or the holes weren't big enough. Oh well it's in the bin now. I've got enough attys to last a year or two as long as their functioning correctly, so it's no big loss.

I know all coils/attys can't be perfect, hopefully we won't run into any more :)

I've not done any DIY for ages now, been a bit lazy really  With the amount of flavourings I've got, I could probably mix up a few litres still  I'm keeping an eye on CV's range though. You're right there's mountains of choice now. Think I should bin some of my old flavourings that have been sat in my mixing box, some are about 18 months old now, so they'll probably taste like armpit  Good excuse to buy some more

I've not tried any of the Pink Spot stuff though, so when I do order, I'll probably get one or two to try. Terry loves being my guinea pig, so I can send him some for Christmas

I've been seeing on the rayon thread that some peeps have started getting two lengths of thinner rayon, that's still fluffy at the ends (bit like cotton wicking) and passing them through opposite ends of the coil until the squeak. Their seeing good results this way. Not tried it myself, cos I'm pretty happy at the moment with the 3mm coils on rayon. Probably give it a try at some point though.

Why not try mixing some of the 2 lemon liquids together mate, see what happens. Then you've got no reason to be indecisive. But then you might not be able to decide between a single lemon or a double lemon :p:laugh:

in meteorology, a mysterious light seen at night flickering over marshes; when approached, it advances, always out of reach. The phenomenon is also known as will-o'-the-wisp and ignis fatuus (Latin: "foolish fire"). In popular legend it is considered ominous and is often purported to be the soul of one who has been rejected by hell carrying its own hell coal on its wanderings. The phenomenon is generally believed to be due to the spontaneous ignition of marsh gas, which consists mostly of methane and which is produced by the decomposition of dead plant matter

So funny!

Must be something in the air with all these coils popping.

Do the frozen ones have menthol Trisha ??

I'll be getting the QOP for sure when it becomes available as a flavouring. Still not had chance to vape the juice I've got yet, but even the smell of it makes my mouth water. I've tasted a small drop, it still needs steeping a little longer. But the next empty tank will be filled with it :)

Only kidding mate  I can`t see me going any lower than 12 ian ! At first i thought bloody hell what have i done, cos i was really missing the throat hit what 18 mg gives. I found there are 2 solutions to that problem 1. lower the ohms, and 2. With 12 mg i can comfortably do direct lung hits if i wish, without coughing my guts up.

Just a little heads up, it's probably already been discussed

but just in case, I ran out of my usual minty mouthwash

so used some of the wifes' Corsodyl, well today I must have

tried 7 different juices and every one, including a zero nic, has

had a horrible bitter taste, despite drinking litres of water, tea fruit juice and

sucking on extra strong mints

Has anybody else found this ?

I do know what you mean mate. When I went down from 24mg to 18mg, I was the same, at first I really missed the better nic buzz, but with a lot of my devices 24 was just too much. To be honest, I didn't really notice much difference in TH. Don't think I'll be going lower though. I'm not really a fan of mega sub-ohm stuff, so it's pointless me going any lower in nic. The coffee/cream mix does seem to like the lower ohm range though I've noticed.

I would have thought that the Corsodyl would clear the palate Vince, not make juices taste bad. I know I use a strong mouthwash sometimes and that can affect my tastebuds for a short time, but not that badly :(

It could just be that you've got a case of vapers tongue and it's nothing to do with the Corsodyl. Sometimes your tastebuds need to "reset" and things taste off for a while. I normally get a day or so where juices have very little taste, normally just before a cold.

Hope things get better soon :)

Yeah i don`t do the sub stuff myself ian, what i like to do is build the ohms around the juice if you know what i mean. :) I remember you saying that the coffee and cream liked lower, so i adjused accordingly.

Vinny, i usually find after a mouthwash that any juice is muted in flavour because of the mint, but that usually wears off after a short while.

It can also handle a fair bit of power too mate. When I had some in a Kayfun (from the original lot you sent me), I popped it on the Vamo, tasted great at 14 watts. Now it's taken the permanent place in the Reo, where the cappuccino used to live :D

Back to work for me tomorrow :( But the kids are off school, so that's a bonus. Less traffic doing the school runs :)

Did you get the Lemon Coconut Cream Cake Bob? ...and have you tried the doughnut yet?

Sorry missed that post yesterday, will get the LCCC next order of CV, and not yet on the Do'nut or the QOP, I prefer to leave them for the full 2 weeks, so that'll be the end of the week

For anyone interested, Chefs have a lot of new flavours - there's a fair few more in the Rebranded Range for a start, plus Perfumers Apprentice etc.

Fancy some Sex on the Beach then :laugh:

Think I've found a dead coil in a new MOW tank - keep getting burnt/dry hits in it no matter how I try! Plus, I also found my first bad BVC coil too - only put it in yesterday and it only lasted until today. Tried taking it back off the battery, unscrewing both ends in turn in case of bubbles, no different. Will have to use a new one for both tomorrow.

I've had the odd dodgy coil, though if the tank is new, I always take them all apart and put them back together again, making sure the head is screwed in properly as sometimes the factory doesn't put them in correctly.

Only 1 point, that sucks. Could you not try again, or is that it - one try and no more ??

Nice one Bob. Each mod will be slightly different with the wood grain, so you'll have something unique. It's a lovely looking wood mod. Will you be using a Zenith on it, or something else ??

Not sure if you can take it again, but that was 20+ years ago, I'd be too slow now, I have a wealth of knowledge but trying to dig it out of the right cubby hole nowadays takes a while, names are the worst, if I'm trying to remember someone famous I have to go through the Alphabet until I get to the right letter and then go through names, sometimes it works other times not.

Yes, will probably use a Zenith on it unless something else turns up
