I liked my 50's ...felt I'd earned the right to speak my mind and stand up for what I wanted to do for a change. Empowered by virtue of age & experience!
It wasn't really him George - it was some creep of a minion trying to get in his good books! View attachment 389915
Well yes, and I was 40 the year I left work to paint full time - I've always said since that my life began at 40Kind of understandable why they say life begins at forty, for those very reasons
I'm not knocking him too much ...looking at the most likely alternative makes my blood run cold: He comes over as an overgrown schoolboy, fresh from the uni. debating society with as little grasp as I have for running a country, and full of false bravado.Yes,but in my mind i'll always blame Dave.
This was a colourless liquid from the Emerald Isle, the missus found it at the back of a kitchen cupboard
and to me to get rid of it, so little by little I did![]()

I had a letter from Dave C,about six months ago saying i had to do another extra year before i got mine.I took an instant dislike to the man.Funny that.

I'm guessing the pleasure of rescuing something useful takes top spot over the actual cash saved
Is this a new challenge you've set yourself or have you made one before? Apart from Vanilla, I've never thought too much about what may be in a custard flavour.

Sorry that my job gets in the way of chatting

I cleaned 4 tanks out today and in one of them i thought i would try some of the apple studel from MB, on the i-stick @ 8 watts 1.7 ohm 18 mg. Bloody hell what a harsh vapeI knew i should have stayed at 12 mg ! I have even put the mod to its lowest setting for that coil, and it is still a throat burner.
Anyhoo, on to the taste of the juice...Nothing special is all i can say, i do get a nice juicy red apple, with a hint of pastry, but i don`t think i would get this one again. If i remember correctly, it is not massively different from joose juice`s apple pie.![]()
Aw! thanks Bob!Getting to be an old codgers forum thisTrisha excepted
Yes, I suppose that's about it.Anyone can be PM, he just presents the summary of other peoples work
Sure it can! I'd be pretty much lost without it as I use it every day, but I don't drink it!I dont know Terry, does turps give you the ability to speak Dutch and make the keys on your keyboard change position![]()

Now there's a thought - if MP's were paid according to ratings by the voters! That would make them work for us and not themselves!MPs should be paid accordingly and not allowed to claim allowances, or get backhanders or pay from any other companies, maybe then they will do things for the Country rather than themselves and the old boy network.
I did m'dear, I did

Sweet!I will have you know i am a very good singer, i sound just like the wifes sewing machine.![]()
S'OkayHmm, thanks for reminding me trish.![]()
The best apple pie I ever tried has been NT Band Camp ...was a short run, so you'd need to catch it when it comes back. I get problems with apple flavour, but it does taste very good! I'll try some of mine with something like confusion or custard to see if I can cope with it like that.Anyhoo, on to the taste of the juice...Nothing special is all i can say, i do get a nice juicy red apple, with a hint of pastry, but i don`t think i would get this one again. ...you could be here talking to us!...something you don't expectI just like taking things apart, sometimes you find something you don't expect, other times you can save money by recycling, other times you just end up breaking it![]()
There does seem to be a lot of variation in different ones! From what I can tell Vanilla custard, can have vanilla custard (obviously), dulce de leche, cream, vanilla or some sort of cake element depending on who mixes it. I've seen a few different recipes, all with different flavours used - it will be fun trying to make my own![]()
I'm sure ..just think he's a bit sensitive about guinea pigs ...perhaps he can just be a piglet? ....er no, perhaps not .....I think 'tester' is safe!Terry's been my guinea pig in the past, always thought he enjoyed the job![]()
All sounds interesting!I've been finishing off my mixing today.
Now got 300ml of Terry's Jungle Juice, 100ml of Berry Blast, 50ml of Ian's cinnamon Danish and 50ml of plain blackcurrant made up.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Also been doing some research for new recipes. They will be :
Deadly Sin, Gambit, Andromeda, Vanilla custard, Boozy milkshake, Gorilla juice, Snake oil and Fruit fusion.
Some of the names may sound familiar, but do not be deceived. I've taken the elements from each juice that I like and replaced the elements I don't like with something else![]()
