Hope your mixing goes well Adam. Have you got the "mad scientists" white lab coat to wear. This is an essential element to any mixing marathon and guarantees all your mixes will taste like angel's tears and unicorn breath  You can borrow mine if you want :D

All mixed! Took me maybe 2 hours! I do enjoy the methodical process, the way I've started doing it does remind me of lab experiments.

Got the following and I reckon most of them will need at least a week steeping.

Capella Vanilla Custard
Capella Cinnamon Danish Swirl
Capella Choc Glazed Doughnut

Mom and Pops Bud's Blend (meant to be a sweet tobacco)
Mom and Pops Calipitter Chow (a sweet-savoury desserty vape)
Mom and Pops Batter Up (cake batter)

One on One Maple Pecan Pie

PA Ry4 Asian
PA Sweet cream

MBV Blue Moo
MBV Lemon Bar (because you lot go on about these ones all the time! :p )

The vape Delivery Gods have been smiling on you then today mate :D

Wish you and Trisha would stop buying up all those iSticks mate, leave some for the rest of us

Yes, only 9 days from ordering as well Ian :) You better make a move if you are getting an i-stick, they do go fast, fantastic little mods they are. Only thing is with them is the unregulated down thingy me jig  I am going to have to rebuild most of my atties at a higher resistance because of it, but no big deal. :)

It's the best way of mixing mate, exactly how I do it.

Label all the bottles.
Add nic solution to each bottle.
Add PG, then VG to each bottle.
Finish off with flavourings and EM/sweetener etc.

I've got the cinnamon Danish swirl myself, goes really well with a little cream. I'd try it with some of the doughnut or cake batter too :)

Your best to leave the tobacco ones for longer than a week steeping mate. Tobacco juices do tend to need twice the time from what I've read - can't speak from experience though, cos I don't do tobacco juices.

Already done mate

Had another tab open on the lappy, popped over to FT and bagged a silver one. Bet you didn't even realise I'd gone

Would have liked the blue one, that was sold out. Tried to order a black one, said 2 left in stock, by the time I got onto Paypal my cart was at zero  I'd missed the 2 in stock ones - that Trisha has been at it again  Managed to get the silver one and an

What kind of % have you found with the cinnamon swirl mate? I think I went for 10%. Usually search online to see what others have said or if I can't find any info just aim for the middle of what the manufacturer states, although MBV are saying a really useful 15- 40% recommendation which isn't that great. I use 50/50 PG/VG.

Gave a few of them a quick go on a dripper as I couldn't resist. Lemon bar and calipitter chow (kind of biscuity) taste pretty good already, although the others could do with a steep as they don't quite taste how I imagined, the blue moo and bud's blend taste slightly funky.

To start with I don't add any EM and see how they are, and I got the sweet cream and cake batter mostly for adding a little to mixes to smooth them out.

The cinnamon Danish swirl is really mild to be honest mate.

Here's my recipe for "Ian's cinnamon Danish" -

Cinnamon Danish swirl (cap) - 15%
Cinnamon coffee cake (cap) - 5%
Irish cream (FA) - 2%

------------------------

Bearing in mind I go for the top end of the flavour percentages, I like really strong flavoured juice. I've added a little sweetener to some batches and left it out of others, I can't really notice much difference. This is a very sweet mix anyway.

I use 50/50 mixes too, sometimes 60/40 depending on the juice.

The MBV percentages are probably to cover high PG or high VG users, plus the way they do extra flavour shots in their own mixes. I'd probably start at 25% with them and work up. Blue Moo does have a bit of a chemically smell to me when it first arrives, so a good steep should sort that out Adam. Most people say that a decent mix shouldn't need EM, it's still handy to have though, to help smooth out some mixes, just a few drops is all that's needed :)

Well I hope it's better than this " Bob" atty - apologies to the real Bob  The Orchids look like they'll be an easy dual coil build, probably easier than my Fogger V4.

I'm surprised yours leaked when you left out the fill screw, always thought Orchids grew better in liquids

Yep very easy to build Ian, even with 30 gauge wire :) I`m gonna have to wait for these low nic juices to steep now, but like i said earlier should be awesome ! I didn`t leave the fill screw out, only took it out to fill up.

Doh, my bad  Thought you meant you'd left the fill screw out when you vaped it

I'll probably use 26 or 28 gauge on mine. Both the Orchid & iStick are next day delivery, so should be in the post very soon. Did surprise me at all the postage options though, with the iStick having an inbuilt battery - there were at least 5 options. Mine is by Sing Post.

Didn`t bob say he got his name sake sorted Ian ?

Yeah he did mate. Mine was wicking and vaping bloody brilliant. Just ...... out juice through the bottom, I could literally see my Moo juice going down in the tank :( I'll strip it all down tomorrow.

----------------------------------

Well it's the witching hour now, so better get to bed.

Night all.

I went for 20% for the MBV ones to start with and I reckon that might be enough, the taste was strong enough I reckon just leave it to steep.

I agree about steeping tobaccos for a while. My all day vape for at work has been inawera ry4 in my kayfun for a while now and that stuff needs at least 3 weeks I think with how I steep my juices (leave in my vape box or a drawer, squeeze the bottle to get fresh air in and shake it every few days when I remember to).

You guys all seem to be having issues with your orchids and bobs. Puts me off trying them!

Yeah, i thought that myself about the batteries, no matter, as long as you get it mate :) I have been quite impressed with the speed of delivery recently, some arses must have been kicked.

It must be, Trish has just arrived. Only kidding trish...Only kidding. Nite Ian.

Yes i have ordered from fast tech their shipping is crappy to say the least but they do offer free shipping
and i had to pay extra to expedite the shipping time from 8-12 days to the DHL air service Its calculated when you checkout and it increased it 4-6 days and when i used this method it arrived around 5 days with no other fees import or export hope this helps.

SSSShhhh George, don't tell her, she's already bought all of the last lot of stock. There'll be none left out of this batch too, if Trisha finds out
I saw that earlier this morning, took a look - all in stock for next day shipping, but I was so hacked off with the Hana, I closed the window and forgot about it ...for a few hours!
Got another blue and red when I went back, but they were 8 days to shipping by then! :)

Wonder if FT are having issues with Aspire now. I know they had hassle from Hana before, hence all the Hana mods without the logos
Oh! hadn't thought of that ...wonder if they've been calling copies authentic! I hope not - I've got three packs of them and another two on the way.

Vapemail for terence today, sorry trish... i beat you :D Anyhoo It was my 2 I-sticks ( just ordered 3 more ) well spotted george.:) They never did send me an alert. And 2 of my orchids also arrived. Oh and before i forget my 6 mg juices from chefs also turned up. :)
Happy day for you! Our postman came back late afternoon, but didn't have anything from FT.

Wish you and Trisha would stop buying up all those iSticks mate, leave some for the rest of us
I left them alone for a few hours! :?:

One on One Maple Pecan Pie
I wondered what that would be like! ....I'll wait to see what you think of it! I was thinking it would be good mixed with a tobacco! ;)

Keeps the brain busy Terry! :thumb: ....oh-oh sneaking-smilie.gif

goes really well with a little cream. I'd try it with some of the doughnut or cake batter too :) .
Cream ...is that the Irish Cream you mention in another post? I just ordered some ready to use MBV Whipped Cream to try.

Already done mate
Had another tab open on the lappy, popped over to FT and bagged a silver one. Bet you didn't even realise I'd gone
Yay! Nice :) I ordered another silver one this afternoon! :)

Would have liked the blue one, that was sold out. Tried to order a black one, said 2 left in stock, by the time I got onto Paypal my cart was at zero  I'd missed the 2 in stock ones - that Trisha has been at it again  Managed to get the silver one and an
Orchid V4
You lot are a bad influence
I didn't order a black one! Honest! ...and, they've got them in stock at the moment for despatch in 12 days!
The blue ones have sold out fast ever since they first appeared anywhere. The red one was the slowest, but the last batch MyEpack got, the red sold out first! Have to say, it was my least favourite choice but has really grown on me, and I think others have found that too.

Mine was just the basic "Bob" model, no extra tanks or drip tips mate. The only extra I got was the drip tip adaptor so I can use any tip on it.

I've been having problems with my "Bob". Built a 3mm coil with 26g kanthal at 1.2 ohms (so I could use it on the Provari). Wicked it with rayon and left the delrin AFC off, cos I wanted an airy draw. I did V cut the rayon with bare minimum in the channels. First few hits, absolutely wonderful. Took a few more, looked at the tank, a third of the juice had gone - bloody hell, this thing is thirsty. Few more hits and juices covering my fingers. "Bob" had a piddle on me

Took it apart, this time used more rayon for the tails, put the AFC ring back on, but wide open. Leaked again but not as bad. So "Bob" is now in the naughty box until tomorrow. I'm going to take the base apart to see what's going on. Shame, cos it looked great on my Red Vari, with the new red/black PMA tip I got :(

Is yours "Light Grey", mine is and looks real nice on the Provari P3 Beta which is an identical colour, didn't get the adaptor so will be sticking with the steel tip, so everything matches, presume yours has the PMMA tank, piddling could be down to chimney not screwed in tight enough to top piece, letting air to get into the tank, I have the AFC almost tightened down as it made a hell of a noise with it opened up or off.

I used 30g round 3mm to get 1.7ohm in the end with a cotton wick and it's still vaping great, so it looks as though you need wicking in the channels but not too thick.

Nice to hear that Ron is back on-line and getting back to normal again, and looks like his brother is in the forces and got a recall so that's why we heard nothing from him.
