Not really a fan of wine, unless it's free and I'm already half-cut
Look at you with the new toys, smilies! I love a good glass of red with food! Black Stump is a shiraz, and the self explanatory 'The Black Shiraz' too. Pretty fond of Merlot or Barolo too! I don't drink as such ...perhaps two glasses in a month on average! I'd probably have a glass more often, but can't work too well after for a couple of hours. Must admit, the Black Stump doesn't have that sleepy effect on me though (something to do with the Sulphites & tannins/purity etc.) Only trouble is, Tesco don't get it ...and not at half price!

Hope I haven't jinxed things for you Trisha. I'm just hoping that the times between tablets get further and further apart.
Oh, I'm quite capable of doing that for myself! No worries. I always speak too soon with this!
Those tablets are advised as a now and then thing, not every day, but then, over the counter stuff does err wildly on the side of caution, so more or less OK as long as a person is fit & well. They don't seem to affect my BP, so I'm OK ....I think!

Yes, Obviously they won`t get much use from me
Quite! there'd be a divine intervention: clipped wings! ;)

Think I'll rewick the dripper tomorrow and test out the MBV Sticky bun, plus some of the mixes I made up from the high nic samples that Trisha kindly sent me
Be nice to hear if what you made turned out well! ...and how the Sticky Bun is! :)

Went to manchester earlier, to do some xmas shopping ! Never again  Talk about chaotic. I vaped a full tank of lemon bar in the process though so that made up for it.:) Had the kayfun on one of the sticks...Ian you remember asking about the battery life of them ? A full tank didn`t even put a dent in the battery mate. :toast:
You went into the city on a late November Saturday to do shopping? Aaggh! Now that's what I call brave ....or mad! No matter what I want, I will not go into town from early November on!

Glad the iStick lasts so long mate. I'm thinking of trying one during the day at work, instead of the Vmod. Will make a nice change from the Vmod
Great size to slip in a pocket :)

I used to love going into town on Christmas Eve ..the atmosphere was lovely - but in the past 10 years, everything has become way too commercialised ....it's all about money and spending, grabbing at things, pushing, rude, grouchy people ...it's changed a lot.
I can happily get on the tube close to rush hour having spent the whole day in some of the busiest parts of London, but towns and cities close to Christmas? No way!

How people can go and queue outside M&S food halls on Christmas Eve is beyond me! If they delivered, that would be another matter! I hate supermarkets no matter whose it is!
We're lucky in having a Tesco only a few minutes away by car or walking, but I still keep well away unless it's something vital! A nice man brings it all every Tuesday and it gets tucked away in the fridge & freezer!

.......anyway, how's your little fishies? emoticon-object-101 fish smilie.gif

I keep trying to grow a money tree, but the Wife keeps on nicking the fruit

It's just not fair is it mate. We shouldn't have to wait for our new toys, they should fly them into Manchester specially for us

Some parcels may well arrive in Manchester BUT they still have to go to Langley though, I had a courier one arrive at Stanstead, it then went to the Vauxhall Sorting Center, which is close to where I live, it then went all the way out to LHR (Langley) so that the customs could have a peek, then back to Vauxhall to be delivered to me

I'd hate to think what it's like at this time of year, I went there mid year one Saturday and it was a nightmare, I try to stay well clear of shopping centres on the run up to Crimbo.

Yes we buy most of our groceries online trish, it`s great doing it from the comfort of your armchair, no pushing shoving or grumpiness required

My local place for crimbo shopping is Chester, don't go near the place from the end of October onwards.Which is a shame because it's a beautiful City.
But i lose my cool, about 10 mins after getting out of the car,so i stay well away.

Anyone going to try an Atlantis?Saw one guy selling one the day after buying it.Reckoned he couldn't handle the vapour production:vapor:

Best way! I've just done three weeks shopping! Well, done half of it for weeks 2 and 3, and then on Thursday, I can book a couple more to make sure of a delivery just before Christmas! It's bad enough done online, never mind actually having to go there!
...looking at the total for this week, (and that of recent weeks too), I'm seeing prices have gone up again! Must be newer versions of products so we don't notice!!!

Boiled fish on toast for supper!

You last 10 minutes? Admirable! - 'one' of us usually loses it before the car is even parked!

I'd try either that or the Kanger version if you didn't have to use sub-ohm coils!
Interesting looking the Aero dripper 'thing' Jeddy posted about this morning in the UK Spinner thread: Aero Dripper, by Ursimian | Spiritus Vapes
I don't use drippers though.

Bloody hell mate you were brave.

Just been looking at the couple of reviews on FT, they say the same thing :D

These new smilies are great

I don't have much idea when it comes to wines to be honest. I do prefer a sweet wine though, can't stand a dry wine - most taste like vinegar to me

Yeah you're right most over the counter stuff, they do tend to go a bit OTT with the warnings. But like you say, it's probably best to err on the side of caution with medication. Being married generally keeps my BP high

Well so far I've just been dripping one of the concoctions, cloudy lemon mixed with bilberry, quite nice so I'll be keeping that one to try in a tank. Next up will be sunshine with passion fruit. I'm going through the lighter coloured juices first.

the iStick does look a nice compact size.

Stop encouraging him trish, i wish i had never sent him the link now

Does seem a bit daft that Bob. Might help keep postage costs down a bit, if they used a less circuitous route.

I'd try either that or the Kanger version if you didn't have to use sub-ohm coils!

I've been trying different coil and wick combinations in my rda as practice for when my orchids arrive

and I've found that even within the limitations of my mvp it's possible to spoil a vape ( in my opinion ) by

using a coil that gets too hot for the amount of airflow available. Without wishing to sound cliched I think that

there is more than a grain of truth in the saying that sub ohming is for clouds. One thing I have found is that micro (closed)

coils work better than open wound coils, even in clearos, but as far as I know that isn't an option unless you rebuild

It's still showing as Pre-Order on their website !!!!

I looked again later on Friday I think (or Saturday) and it had changed to:

"Due in one week, all pre-orders will be dispatched within 1-2 working days."

So I guess about a week. Pretty stupid putting that on the website as most people won't know when it was posted.

Sometimes a slight sub-ohm build can make a difference for the better though. I don't really go deep into sub-ohm builds, but I've got a couple of builds that I use regularly at 0.8 ohms, I've found they can bring out the creamier elements of a juice. Micro coils are much better IMHO, better flavour production and throat hit. Can't remember the last time I used an open coil. I've got a 0.8 ohm build in one of my Kayfuns, with Blue Moo in it, absolutely cracking vape. Your right about airflow though, I've drilled out this Kayfun  But it's the best of both worlds, great flavour and clouds of vapour.
