I've read somewhere that the yihi sx330 chip will not regulate down below battery charge level

That's a possibility, it only goes down to 7w anyway, just put my doge 0.26 ohm build on my Rogue (ipv kept saying it was too low and 0.1 ohm - weird) and fired at 7w and it was definitely a warmer vape than on the Cloupor T8 set at 20w

And that the dna 40 chip will not regulate above battery charge level

I think that's probably wrong as the max charge of a single lithium battery is 4.2v but DNA chips can usually out put more than that, just tried my SquapeR on mine with a Kanthal 2.7 ohm build and it was definitely putting out about 6v+ at 40w

but the good news is that if you've got a few bob in your pocket titanium wire can be read by the dna 40 chip for the purposes of heat regulation
dont know if all or any of the foregoing is right but I couldn't think of anything else to say and I'm too miffed at Innokin to go to bed yet

There's no way I am wasting money buying expensive wire  an I think that's all we can expect of Innokin, the only afc clearo they have brought out is the Gladius, which although a neat little one is too small for anything except the MicroStick and Gizmo 17.

What are your thoughts on the performance of the VS 30 Bob ?

And what do you think my chances are of getting a decent pre owned model

It's a classy device and the only reasons I can think of for offloading one would be

if it wasn't performing to spec
if someone was packing in vaping altogether
if someone was selling in order to part fund an upgrade

The DNA 40 does regulate up and down. While I haven't tested it personally I'm 99% sure it gives you 1 to 40 watts anywhere in the accepted resistance range. The specs listed seem to suggest that and I've definitely fired something about 1.4 ohms to 40 watts which would need voltage regulating up.

Check this out for the complete specs:
http://www.evolvapor.com/datasheet/dna40.pdf

Cost aside, unless titanium wire has the same resistance per metre as Ni200 and that the resistance changes with temperature exactly the same then I wouldn't bother. The dna40 uses the change in resistance due to temperature as a proxy for temperature so using a different material that "tricks" the board that it is Ni200 will just end up giving you the wrong temperature.

DNA30, SX330, SX350 I would recommend any of them, the latter 2 of course can go higher than 30w, are you on any of the other forums, because most of them come up in the UKV classies, or you could look on eBay but make sure the seller has a good rep.

most are sold either because they need the money for something else, or some people buy them to see what they are like, then decide they don't like them, must admit the first time I saw the VS DNA30 I didn't like it, thought it was too small but now I have one I wouldn't let it go, I have heard that there are problems if you get the wireless charger though, so best to go for it without and just use the USB.

EDIT: main thing to worry about with any mod that uses electronics is leaky atomizers, I had one fry the USB port on the Cana I had, and after FUing something else to make it easier for me to charge the battery, I ended up binning it.

Thanks Bob, I think I'll sign up to UKV, from what I've read most of the classies on here are from US members

Well I've had a Gander, put some in a Mini Nautilus and here's the description for it

a four flavor mix. If you like custards or vanillas, this is just what the doctor ordered. It’s not your typical mix. It has a wonderful twist to it

and although I can taste the Vanilla and a custardy taste, I don't know what the twist is but I do like it and am now thinking of ordering a large bottle and perhaps get the small bottles of the other flavours that they do so i can try them as well, but direct from the USA as it will work out a lot cheaper than SV, but will wait until I can try it out in the Magma on my DNA40 as it is a very thick liquid being 100% VG and not really suited to the Mini Nautilus, as is their other 4 liquids.

From SV 17ml is £9 and from Quacks it is $8.50 both + shipping although shipping from USA will be more expensive but their site does bigger bottles

He was definitely a glutton for punishment , think we should get Ian some

Bring it on mate, I love free juice

Yeah, good idea bob ! i will do a search for some later

I'll send you some banana and butterscotch mate as a thankyou

Lived for a week or so in the Dalton end (the good end) of Rawthorpe Lane in Huddersfield, the Rawthorpe end was where all the baddies lived, probably changed a lot since the late 60's, I've visited a few places in the last 20 years that I used to live in when I was a lot younger and can never seem to find the places I lived, they've been knocked down and built over mostly.

Did they not get bombed in the blitz Bob  The route I take is straight over the tops, so basically on the main road all the way to Hudd. There's a small section between Uppermill and Diggle, that's off the main track, but rest of the way is straight along the main road. It does pass through Marsden, Slaithwaite, Cowlersley etc. Very nice route, was foggy this morning though.

Me too! I've heard their Chocolate Overload is very good, but he has none - did say he'd get some with his next order though!

Ha-ha ..reminds me of the day when my husband was working away and our son wanted the battery charger ...we couldn't find it despite searching the garage, cupboards and drawers. So I phoned him ...'oh, it's in the bottom of the grandfather clock' - 'oh right ...of course it is!'
Apparently, it seemed like a good place to keep it

MMmmmm chocolate overload, sounds luverly :D

A charger in the clock, it's a logical place to keep it

I don't think I've ever seen a classified on here from the UK mate. That's why I became a verified member here originally, pick up a few bargains in the classies - no chance of that happening :(

Still no sign of my i-sticks, and still showing despatched to the uk :( Don`t know what the bloody hell is going on with this order

In other news, one of my other orders is in packaging Black lemo, coiling jig, and 70 watt hana. :)

They're stuck on the same sea turtle that my Hana is coming on. Did they not tell you mate

Oooo Look Ian, Is that a Hana he is using

Crap colour

Anyway, mine will be better cos it's a non-original, which are much better than the original ones :p:laugh:

Terry, you were right mate. MBV have sorted things out for me. Sent them a couple of piccies of the bottles. Got a reply back almost straight away. They offered me either a store credit or replacement juice. I went for the juice option. Plus I get to keep the wrong sized 15ml bottles too - that's what I call great CS :D

Not old enough to know :) Think you probably come in from the NW and Dalton is more to the east southeast of the centre

and mine is still flying round in circles, it left on the 27/11 and still hasn't got to Langley WDC, unless the tracking is well FUBAR.
