They emailed me an hour ago trish, just apologizing and asking for the order number, so they are on to it now

I am wondering why they are making so many mistakes these days ? Do you think it could be a staff issue ?
I don't actually know anything, but they are growing - I don't think they, as a company, are much different in age to NT for instance, and NT has just had a big reorganisation that is partly due to needing compliance issues in order in case the FDA/US Gov't. decides to implement some of the rumoured legislation, but also partly due to the rapid growth of NT as a company, and they've got some new staff in recent months plus a new website too.
Chefs are growing, and rightly so in my opinion - they not only make some excellent products, the base ingredients they use seem to be extremely good. (As you know, I have various sensitivities/allergies with all of this, and theirs gives me the least trouble.)
They've also been growing a huge library of flavourings, concentrates, and other items, and I suppose it all means more work - perhaps there are already one or two new people who are getting used to things, and perhaps that's how some errors occur.
I do remember them saying that the day three of our orders got mixed up had been an exceptionally busy day, and those orders got muddled - at least if something does go wrong, they quickly more than put it right.
I was speaking to Karl a few days ago, and he said that just having the new website up will make things easier for us and them.
Nothing stays the same, but I hope Chefs stay as good, accessible and friendly as always.
