I noticed the ready made coils on fast tech for dirt cheap - may have to get a stock of them in if / when i get myself a mech mod and an ithaka. I've got a smok carto tank at the moment, which i havent used and i'm going to order one of those big boaby tanks off alba vapours once i have got all my bigger bottles of eliquid sorted. I didnt want to start using carto tanks whilst i am still at the stage of swapping flavours every refill.

Once I've tried the carto tanks out, I'll have a go at the direct dripping, then get into a bit of coil building and get the ithaka and possibly the kayfun too as so many people rave about them! Gives me something to look forward to vape-wise, which is another big plus point of vaping... cant say as i ever looked forward to my next pack of fags and as far as upgrading goes swapping brands is about as far as you can take it!

You're welcome mate, if you need a link to the coils just let me know. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but they do have no-res legs so work perfect in the ithaka. You do have to play around with the coil spacing a bit though to get them just right. I think kycap has got one of the big boaby tanks, maybe give him a shout about it.

If you wait for the Paps X to come in, it looks like it will have adjustable airflow from the sneak previews I've seen. But you'll need to be on the ball with ordering. They normally sell out really quickly on vapourart. It will be a bit dearer than the Paps Lux too.

Hello Lovlies! At work for two more hours, but glad to be leaving soon and avoiding the masses - we have many out-of-state visitors for a football game today :/

I am really loving the new Protank and wishing that I'd bought more THEN and not ordered more FT RBAs later :/ Those RBAs are still in Hong Kong and I am in a bit of a vape funk... I'll go through my juice and vape something different tonight, because I've been getting so many new juices and tasting them that it's put my taste buds out of whack :/ I am thinking of an Extreme Ice mixed with a Cinnamon Red Hot and then a tobacco :/ Conundrum or Turkish for sure....

Plenty of water Lisa, that's the best way to sort out the taste buds. I do get it myself sometimes too, things don't taste right. Menthol and Cinnamon together, you're a brave woman

I hate working weekends too. I work 3 out of 4 Saturdays, because it's part of my rosta. I do get 4 days off together every month though, so that makes up for it a little.

I have got loads of building to do myself tomorrow. Well my ba-gua arrived today, and i have to say i am well impressed with it. Very well made and the engraving is beautiful.

I have put one of my X9`s on it and it hits real good, well chuffed with it.

Glad you like the bagua mate. What do you think of the airflow control, does it make a big difference to the vape ??

I've used them 3 times now for clearomisers and Hangsen ry4 (which costs £2.80 for 30ml delivered!) My last order took 9 days to arrive with no extra duty levied. I'm very happy with their service and quality of the products, however, not sure I'd fancy ordering batteries

Glad you've had a good experience so far.
Some of the batteries from FT are superb mate. I've had Panasonics and Trustfires from them and they all work great. Also the Sanyo's are top notch too. Wouldn't bother with some of the batteries though, if you do a search on here you'll find a lot of reviews for their batteries.

Does the airflow go all the way through the top cap mate. I was watching a Todd review the other day for a mod that had airflow, but when he checked it closely it didn't go all the way through the top cap, it was more of a battery vent. Can't remember which mod it was now

Ok so today's update.

Been pretty busy.

Cleaned out loads of tanks. Rewicked 4 novas, 4 evods, 2 x9's and my ithaka. I've done a selection of wicks this time - cotton, ekowool, ekowool/silica and a cracking double silica wick on the ithaka. Plus I've mixed up 4 different juice batches as well. I'm knackered now

Update from me is that i have been to the cinema to see despicable me 2 with my son and sat there for 2 hours with about 300 screaming, giggling, wriggling children... I do sometimes vape in cinemas without any problems, but i didnt think it was appropriate when the majority of the ppl there were under 10! I couldnt wait to get out and have a vape tho!

I have a feeling my patience is going to run out on payday in a couple of weeks and I'm going to get myself a mech mod and i would prefer to keep it under £200 for the mod and kayfun together, although could go higher if people really recommend that it's worth paying more for something else!

I've been busy this AM cleaning the apartment, refrigerator, and and cleaning/sorting vape gear =] Still no movement from my FT orders, but I've got enough to last me. it'll just be a magnificent surprise when it hits the mail box =]

I'm rotating a FT Dekand Cigar, MBV Green Apple, DeejStuff Sweet Lil Tarty Thing, and a MBV Hawk Sauce that should really be steeping

The TVS and Sentinel are still doing well, gave the Protank a good soak and loaded the Sweet Tart in it, so it's giving me a bit of a hard vape with a lot of nicotine coming through... some toppers matched with certain PVs do change the vape of a juice... make it a stronger nic vape or mute the flavor overall.

I hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend or at least a productive one!

yes it comletely blocks the holes off, just doesn`t make much of a difference vape wise. I am not bothered by that though, it is still a very handsome mod.

If you want a real stealth vape. Inhale and hold it in for as long as you can, then exhale into your t/shirt. Problem solved, no vapour

Yes, I stealth vape, but sometimes a bit of 'smokey vapor cloud' still comes out I just fan it away as I am able

To be honest their all good, not had any experience with the Vanilla, but it does look good with the KFL. If I had to chose between the bagua and the Paps, I'd go for the Paps even with the wait needed to order one. For a tiny device, it's amazing. But any mod that's got either brass or silver pins will work well with the KFL. If the atty pin and battery positive pins are adjustable that's another bonus. So it's really down to personal taste and what you think looks good.

Well it sounds like Terry's doing the relaxing and I'm being productive

I've found different tips can change the vape too. Metal ones give a warmer vape, also the size of the inner hole can make a big difference to the vape.
