One of my neighbours just returned from lanzarote,

He stayed on a complex which had a water park, and he loved it. I will check that one out as well. Its all private,so not open to the public.

I am sure you will have a good one mate, it is nice just to get away for a bit, and chill out. Are you all inclusive ?

I wanted to go to Lanzarote, but the Wife fancied Portugal, plus Portugal was a bit cheaper. Think we will try Lanzarote next time though.

Yep, we're going all inclusive. A full week of food, beer and sun - can't wait.

Sentinel thread problems?!??!!?

Look!!

vape mail!

Today was just an aluminum m16. But it just so happens that the top cap and bottom button happen to thread onto the 18350 tube from my svd. With an 18350 in it, it has a very slight rattle but is tight when the button is pressed, nothing i can't fix. Nothing too special, but it is unique.

Maybe they all have same tube diameter and can be switched out!!!

That looks pretty good Lisa, totally different. I've got a spare 18650 tube from the bagua co-op order, might have to have a play around with some other button and top caps

Haha! I finally got a chance to read - you two are HILARIOUS! I was laughing so hard reading about your little waitress and equipment :p

Just over 2 hours until I get off, it's been raining 2 days here, not so odd for Britain, but crazy for us. I'll be glad to get home tonight... have a nip, and relax with my pup after our walk =] My FT orders have not moved, but I didn't get any notice [tracking number] for the Volt clone or the CE4s/Protank either. I just feel like they will appear one day when I check the mail because they are not updating them properly from Hong Kong... especially since this has happened to me previously.

I hope everyone has had a magnificent & productive week and has a relaxing weekend planned =]

Thanks lisa,

Talking of rain ! it has just stopped here after nearly a full week. I was getting ready to dig out my wet suit, but things are looking a little better (if you believe the forecast) Ian will be ok though, soon to be soaking up the sun.

In regards to swapping the top cap of my sentinel, i have nothing which fits... which takes me back to Ians post about wrapping some copper wire around the threads of an adaptor.

Instead of doing that, i will wrap the wire around my V5 dripper, screw it in "if you pardon the pun again" and never ever take it off my sentinel again.

Did you're brother get the KTS+ with gold plating ??? That's the one I've got - love a bit of bling

yes he did, I was looking at that one then he bought it before I did. I like it, really nice besides the button getting a little hot every so often

I like my X9s, too. It's a pity that terry w seems to have some dodgy ones. Why not tell FT? They're clearly faulty if they won't draw.

Hiya mate,

TBH it is not worth bothering about, I got them in the sale for £2 odd each. I will just take the heads out, then chuck em, as i said in an earlier post it gives me an excuse to get another tank or two.

I still have my kanger protank, and an X9 (the first one i bought) which are both fine.

I got my gold protank to screw onto my ChiChi this AM!!! Apparently one of the threads was wonky and when I forced a 808/901 adapter on it, it resolved the issue! Now it fits on my 501 threaded mods, so I've closed the ticket with FT! It really looks nice on my gold/silver ChiChi, so maybe I'll get some use out of my ChiChi now :p

I got a high VG juice in from Mt Baker Vapor, they are super quick with shipping, and although it needs to steep, I've been vaping it =] It is a citrus, tanker-cracker juice and I have already sacrificed a CE4 to it, so I'm glad to see my new toppers moving up to Processed Through Hong Kong Sort Facility September 21, 2013, 7:33 am!!!

I hope everyone is having a good start to the weekend =] It's gotten chilly here and been raining, but it's a nice change from the heat :p I have to work today, but only 4 hours, so a quick shift and then back to start my own weekend =]

That's a good idea Terry, if you're gonna keep the V5 on there permanently you might as well do a bit of screwing

I've been taking mine to work with me in 18350 mode, it's a nice shirt pocket size. I've had a few good weeks worth of use from it now and it's still going strong. I use my Vmod as well at work, gives me a chance to rotate flavours a bit :)

I've checked the airhole position on the X9's. I think the ones Terry has, the airholes are lower down on the 510. One of my X9's is like this and the draw is really hit and miss on it - nothing that a bit of drilling won't solve though ;)

You've got some real colour co-ordination going on there Lisa, they look really good

Wish I didn't have to work this weekend. Have a nice relaxing break and do some serious vaping on those lovely looking mods. As Terry said, it's been cold and wet here for days now - winter is definitely on it's way. Hate winter, freezing cold buses with no proper heaters. Kids snowballing us at least 20 times per day (shame we can't run them over):laugh:

Today's update :

I was supposed to be going out tonight with some of the lads from work. But I've been feeling YYYUUUCCKKKK all day, didn't get much sleep last night either, so I wouldn't be very good company :(

But, my chi-you has finally arrived, that's cheered me up a bit. Great looking mod, hits really hard (even though I can hardly taste the juice at the moment). I've found that each one has a unique serial number too, even better. The only small problem is I have to reverse my Panny batteries in it, or it self fires. I need to get an insulator for the switch contact. But apart from this small fault, this thing is EPIC. Really glad I bought it now

I usually prefer to bring my Bolt to work since I hide it in my bra and there are no buttons sticking out :p I decided to bring in the Chi Chi today instead since it is such a slim little thing and I hadn't gotten much use out of it. It's not a magnificent hitter as the others I recently received are, so I had a kick in it this AM. The firing button went super hot, so I pulled the kick out and switched the 18350 to a 18650. A bit of misfiring, unscrewed everything, wiped the contacts down, and then put it back together and it's fine now. The more I think about it, it may have misfired previously, which is why I put it away :/ There is no huge spring at the bottom - to contact with the battery, instead there is a metal pin tipped with a very small spring...This is the only thing I can see that is different from the other mechs.

Heh! I had a youth dragging his heels at a crosswalk the other night, making a show of it for a girl waiting on the sidewalk and urging him to move out of the way :/ I had a line of cars behind me and was waiting for him to shuffle/gyrate across when I just decided to cross from the oncoming lane into my lane, thereby going AROUND him. He was a bit shocked when I did as I came within a few feet of his gyrating body :/ When I heard the siren I was a bit irritated, but I was waved off by the officer, and the youth was called over. I expected to get a ticket or a warning, but instead the idiot may have gotten a reckless endangerment warning himself =] Last year, we had a student cross right into moving traffic and while one car stopped, another went around and struck her, and a second and third car ran over her as well. Stupidity is rampant and accountability is a dream in youths these days :/

I hope you are feeling better! Drinking plenty of liquids? Vitamin C? Eating properly? This is not the time to be getting sick :/

Glad you are enjoying the Chi-You, but watch out for that self-firing! o_O

well i managed to sort my sentinel out today,

I tried what you suggested ian, but the thin strands of copper wire woudn`t mould around the 510 threads; they kept springing back out.
so i thought well, what about some kanthal wire ?

And hey presto, i have now got my V5 permenantly fixed to my setinel, with no wobbling or movement. Cheers ian, i would never have thought of that.:toast:

Your chi chi looks very similar to my KTS+ (just a different top cap design). Do you still get the misfires when the button is locked Lisa ??

I have been looking at these as well,

Maybe to top my tvs, they are smart. It looks like the innards are the same as a vivi nova.

Mmmm, it is pretty, but what of the copper drip tip? Won't that taste funny? o_O Holding a copper mod made my hands stink to high heaven previously, but I was testing one out for a friend who made it... I can't imagine dripping with one XD Although, YES, the the drip tip can be changed...

And thank you for waking me up =] I was nodding off a bit, just an hour more of work but I decided to leave my coffee at home :/

It is a bit more chilly here now, almost sad that I did my laundry this AM, so no dryer to heat the apartment :'( I do think the nice, thick beef and pasta 'stew' I made last night will be magnificent with some fresh baked bread - hopefully rising as I type =]
