Nice one Lisa.. To be honest, i've been pretty happy with my kanger protank 2... but over the last 2 days it has been gurgling a lot so i have taken it apart, cleaned it all out, etc put the head back on and gurgling starts again. Didnt want to put another head on but resigned myself to it and stuck one on - it was a genuine kanger head (1.8 ohms) but with the slightly shorter central post - atomiser short as soon as it was on the evic, no good. Put the 2nd new head on and it's fine, but still for a £17 tank and heads at £2.50 each i expect better.
Anyhow, the point is if i can get the tank you posted above for less than half the price and heads at less than half the price and it performs at least as well as the kanger then it's a no-brainer. I think i've been sticking to branded products in the hope that they will be more reliable / better performers but the more i read about some of these FT products the more i become convinced i should just get myself more kit off FT.

It has taken about a month to get here BUT i got an email from FT on the 8th October to say that they had recalled the order and would be re-dispatching it. I checked the new tracking number, which was saying due to leave HK on the 9th October, by the 10th it said it had arrived in the UK and i got it today (the 12th). I know overall it's slow, but they have had a national holiday, a hurricane & untold problems with a customs crackdown so i think that's pretty good customer services.
It has taken about a month to get here BUT i got an email from FT on the 8th October to say that they had recalled the order and would be re-dispatching it. I haven't had any gurgling from them. Have you overfilled it and gotten juice inside the central tube? Maybe put your juice in something else and blow it out? Or just remove it whole and blow it out and into a tissue?
Normally it means the package has been received at a sorting hub. The hub could be at the main P.O, the carriers headquarters or even the airport postal hub. That's my understanding of it from past orders anyway

Well Cody, just to prove that I'm still not an expert at coil building. I was vaping on the bagua just now with an X9 Protank that I'd re-coiled with a ekowool/cotton hybrid wick. Gone through 3 tank loads already, no problem at all, the coil was a 1.2 ohm set up - loads of vapour and flavour.
Anyway, 10 minutes ago started gurgling really bad, loss of vapour and loads of juice pooling around the bottom of the tank. So I took it all apart, juice had travelled through the topcap and onto the battery - luckily it was a protected 18350.
So, battery is no good now (got another 3 though). By accident I'd doubled up on the cotton flavour wicks, so the coil had got overfed and dumped loads of juice down the positive post and airhole Strange that it's only just happened now though, after 4 days of use.
Moral of the story is - even us "expert" coil builders have bad build days

The atty has a lower resistance than the gripper and evic can handle. Most regulated mods won't fire attys of 1.2 ohms or less. That's why the sub-ohm crowd always go for mechanical mods Lisa
Have you checked to make sure the positive pole of the atty is connecting to the positive of the pisces. I find this happens with some of my mods, the two terminals just aren't touching. Hope that helps

The first part of your question, sounds like a bad connection on the centre pin lisa. Try the suggestion i made a while back, to push the centre pin back up.
The second part if your question, could mean it is a sub ohm coil in which case your mods may not read it. My vamo would not read anything below 1.3 ohms.

Just in case you have forgot, take your atty off then with the battery in; tighten everything down real good and that should push the pin back up.

I'm just wondering cos I could do with some more. I prefer the softer bottles, if these are the type. Got some from TW that were really hard, you had to put them in a vice to get any juice out - so they've been filed away in the bin

That's what I was thinking mate, might as well hold on for them to arrive. It's the all silver ones that I ended up getting, the blue and red ones had a long lead time, so we all ended up getting the plain ones in the co-op instead.
