Well, our Ian, he is a bit odd :p

Ran a few errands after work and just recoiled the i-Atty, still not reading oHms on the eVic and not working on the Pisces again :/ Forget about it, my shows are about to start, so I'll deal with it later =]

Lisa try a couple more wraps of wire,

I don`t know what gauge wire you are using, but it sounds like you are still getting low ohms :p

Can't believe I slept for 11 hours last night, must have needed it ;)

Going out with the family later for some grub, looking forward to that. Not seen my Mum, Sister or Niece for a month now, so it'll be good to catch up again. Shame the Wife can't come she's working again tonight :(

No more cryptic secrets today, lack of sleep was doing crazy things to my brain yesterday, all I will say is

well i re-coiled my two drippers today, using 3 mm ekowool and .5 ribbon wire. First i did my V5 and used the safety pin along the wick method...5 wraps came in at 1.9 ohms.

Then i did the same with my trident, minus the safety pin and that came in at 1.3 ohms. What i am trying to put across here is that, by using the pin, that will use up a tiny bit more wire. More wire = more resistance.

EDIT: good thanks ray... you ?

Double EDIT: This post is mainly for lisa`s benefit as she seems to be getting lower ohm`s than she requires.

I was coiling all last night =] I had a magnificent 1.4oHm coil on my Fasttech i-atty and then the stupid polycarb tank cracked from top to bottom... maybe I over-tightened the top and bottom of the i-atty or set it down too hard or something, I am not sure. The AGA T2 is coiled at a straight 1.0 oHm, but has too much vapor and not enough flavor, so I have it set aside :/

This morning, I took all of my tobacco juice 'remnants', some old sample juices that I didn't care for - brown sugar, tiramisu, chocolate, dulce, teas, coconut something, maple something, marshmallow something, honey tobaccos, an apocalyptic cinnamon with honey overtones that I didn't care for, and more, and made a massive 946ml bottle with Mt Baker Vapors tobacco flavoring I just ordered/received. Mixed it all together, put the bugger of a bottle in an ultrasonic cleaner to shake, shimmy, and heat and guess what... it's so delicious that I've been vaping it all day.

I gave a 8ml tank to my hubby with a Gripper who smokes and said, 'Try this out'. He's been vaping it for hours along with me - A FIRST I tell ya! He usually takes a toot, says he likes it, and then lights up a Marlboro :/ You don't know what it's like trying to stick to vaping when you live with a smoker until you ACTUALLY DO LIVE WITH A SMOKER!

With an eGo battery and a basic clearo like the CE4, the flavor of this DIY is akin to a Turkish tobacco, closest to Conundrum - if you've ever had the juice called Conundrum, you'll know what I mean. I was tasting coconut for a bit and then it went full Turkish on me. With a VV set at 4.5 volts & a 2.1 oHm atty OR a Boge carto tank, the Turkish flavor comes out subtle EXCEPT for the tiramisu, which is in the forefront now. Anyway, if you dislike a juice, don't lose hope, MIX it with other flavoring for a good vape :p

That's a great result Lisa, 946ml would probably last me about a week  It's great when a juice has multiple flavour notes to it and changes as you vape it, really does help to keep things interesting :)

You don't seem to have a lot of luck with tanks, you must have a lot of tank cracking juices.

Another convert to vaping then by the sounds of it. Try hiding his Marlboros now, so he can't light one up ;) In our house, I was the only smoker, so I can now appreciate what my Wife went through for all those years with my stinky habit :)

Plus the length of the legs can add to the resistance too mate. The longer the legs the higher the resistance.
