Today's update :

Rockets have landed.

Astro is here too, it's tiny. Looks a nice piece of kit though. Individual serial number. Nice knurled locking button. Smooth threading with brass pins. The only tiny problems are the topcap airflow, which is lazer etched s might not be deep enough for some toppers and the telescoping tube is quite thin metal and a bit wobbly until there's a battery in there. But I only paid about £8 for it (with my rebate points discount) so I'm happy. Here's a linky to it :

Cody i found this for you, I thought it was very informative.

Another tip for the KFL, have a look on the cloud9 site there's a good set-up tutorial on there.

Hope the rocket has the updated red O-rings Terry. If it's got the white ones you may need to swap them out. You'll have a good laugh though when you see the pre-installed coil - there's enough silica in it to make 4 separate ones, they've literally stuffed silica into it

To be honest Ian,

When i purchase anything with a pre-installed, i always change it out. I may fire it up to see how it burns (if it fires at all) lol. But yeah i like to rebuild 9 out of 10 times.

Are you working lates this week mate ?

I don't think you'd be able to use the coil that comes with it, there's that much wick in there it will just block the juice feed. So you're right to redo it, you'll laugh when you see it mate :)

Been on a late shift yesterday and today, but got tomorrow off (or should that be today off ;))

Need to get some stuff sorted out for the holiday though, most important thing is deciding which mods to take

I normally just take one battery tube mate, A couple of tanks and batteries, charger, and the all important juice. Vape all the way there and back again mate (no worries) :toast:

To be honest, I was thinking more like a minimum of 4 mods and toppers. Plus my little Vmod for on the plane.

When I'm at home, I always have between 4 and 6 different set-ups on the go at once, all with different flavours in them. I get bored easily

I've sussed out how to do some serious stealth vaping now, with the double inhale - so no massive clouds on the plane for me ;)

Just extra luggage that LOL,

One or two mods, choice of juices, and the afore mentioned Ian. When we went to greece this year, i didn`t even hide the fact that i was vaping.

I had a couple of funny looks, but that was their problem. Even the cabin crew didn`t give a f

I just got a shipping notice for my MVP... so what? I have 2 weeks for shipping, 3 if there are issues. My pack of Protanks was out for delivery today. Since it was a SPLIT package, they'll be asking for a signature, so it may take a few days to get the Protanks as no one is ever home when the mailman come :/

EDIT: My beautiful Protanks :'(

Destroyed by sloppy handling... bits of glass is everywhere. Three are totally destroyed, one cracked, and the fifth has a jagged gash in the metal with slivers of metal poking up :'(

EDIT: Just ordered the rocket from F/T, £8.75 with a shipping upgrade worth a massive $0.18 :toast:

I'm a pescetarian, so no hot dogs or turtle soup for me, thanks! ;)

Cheers Terry, I'll have a look at that at some point today. They make it look so easy on these vids, and when you come to actually try it i just find that everything is at least twice as small as it looks on them. Still, i must aqcuire some coil building skills one way or another!

fair play codz, thats an amazing collection you got there for 3 and 1/2 months in.

Tornado VV, Evic, Ba Gua 22ti, Provari mini V2.5, kanger protanks, Kayfun Lite, Aga T2

Impressive.

It's more daft than impressive! I bought the ba gua because i knew i would be wanting a mech at some point, and it was the last one available so i jumped in and grabbed it - i dont use it much yet, but i'm sure i will be doing soon. The aga was my introduction to rbas and i still havent got the knack of it, and i bought the KFL as everyone was raving about them and i thought if i waited i might miss out on one.

I'm hoping the FT coils come soon so i can have a play. I havent tried it with a vivi coil yet, but might give that a bash just to see if it works out.

Looks like they've been playing football with your parcel Lisa. Normally FT are pretty good with the bubble wrap. It's shocking that their all broken like that.

I'd be on to the mail handlers too, if I got a delivery that badly destroyed :(

I'm so sorry - that's really horrible luck.
