This is my coiling stand... a plastic coated rod from a wire basket that I wrap my wire on, clipped to a magnification stand, the $6.21 SE MZ101B Helping Hands with Magnifying Glass. I wrap 6 and then leave a larger loop to clip for the legs of the coil. When I need a coil, I clip it from the rest and place it over a toothpick as suggested by a friend. This AM I installed both fasttech premade coils that range between 1.8 to 2.2oHm

Fasttech Replacement Wicks and Wires for Rebuildable Atomizer - 1.8ohm
Fasttech Replacement Wicks and Wires for Rebuildable Atomizer - 2.0ohm

and my own coils, shown here that ranged between 1.4 and 1.8oHm using fasttech silica and some 32 gauge Kanthal wire

Fasttech Silica Wick for Rebuildable Atomizers (5M / 16.4ft)

101vapes Kanthal .20mm (32 Gauge)

I really want to get some Ecowool, but I am going to wait until I use up some of this silica. I have one question... I did a double coil on one of my drippers, 1.5oHm each and it gave me a reading of 3.0oHm overall. How high an oHm can I use? Does it matter?

lisa the only diffrence a high ohm coil will make is, it will produce less vapour because of the higher resistance.

The silica disintegrates easily in juice, which I hate, but I haven't used the wool, or even the cotton as some are using. If I can find a good replacement, I'll change over, but for now silica is being sold many places, so I hope that it is not dangerous!
I have never read anywhere that silica is dangerous, and yes the ekowool is a lot better it tends to soak a lot more juice; therefore giving a cleaner better vape.

I don't mind less vapor! I prefer it at work, in fact =] Didn't you tell us about the toothpick, Terry? I can't remember if it was Ian or you! Whichever, it's been working WONDERS with my building coils!

Well I'm back [

Glad to see you lot obeyed the rules while I was gone :p

Can't believe how cold it is here, high 20's in Portugal. Got the heating on full blast and I'm still shivering.

Thought I was gonna get my mods confiscated at Faro airport, took my Chi-you, SVD and Bagua with me (plus the Vmod for some stealth on the plane). Coming through Customs, excuse me Sir can I check your hand luggage - had the mods, batteries and some evods and novas in a big e-cig case. She's looking at the mods, shows them her colleague, I said their just e-cigs. Finally the Manager came over, glanced at them and waved me through. I'm not having my mods sitting in some Portugese holding area for weeks :)

Got home, to a fully painted kitchen and lounge - thanks to my step daughter.

Was hoping the Provari from Lisa, would be waiting for me. Checked the tracking on-line, it's gone via Australia. At this rate, it will have had a better holiday than me, hope it gets a sun tan

My FT wishlist has just grown again too, watch this space for future ordering info ;)

It was probably me Lisa that told you about the toothpick. Terry's memory isn't what it used to be. In any case, I'll still take all the credit

AUSTRALIA! OMG! I should have chosen the cheapest SHIPPING! :p

It's good to have you back =] Not a lot happening except I got a MVP2 stateside and I ADORE IT! I've put my other mods away, except for the eGos because I hate changing out toppers :/ the pin in the MVP2 needs to be pulled up with different toppers and some say it's because of over tightening :/

Thanks Lisa, It's good to be back home. Only problem is, I'm back in work in about 10 hours :(

Can't understand, why the parcel has gone to Australia

Bet the MVP2 lasts a long time on a single charge. The pin pulling will be down to over tightening a bit too much, some mods seem to be prone to this, more than others. Now I just try and keep the same tank on the same mod most of the time, makes things a little easier.

First thing I did when I got home was put my batteries on charge, I've used 4 x 18650s 3 x 18350s and 1 x 14500 while I've been away. As well as about 60ml of juice, some serious vaping has been going on in Portugal :2cool:

No problem at all vaping in Manchester or Faro. No funny looks or anything, to be honest though, I wasn't really paying much attention. Didn't see anyone else vaping though at Faro. One or two in Manchester were walking around with little ego's on neck lanyards, but I didn't see them being used.

On the plane, they made a point of saying no smoking or e-cigs. So I asked the chief stewardess about using an APV. She said what's that, so I showed her the Vmod. She said, you're not supposed to use any e-cigs or anything that works like an e-cig on the plane. So I just went in the loo a few times and double inhaled - so no vapour ;)

On the way back though, there was a lot of turbulence, so we had to stay seated. I just leaned forward to look out the window and took a few crafty draws, nobody around even knew I was doing it

Anyone got any views in this bad boy - good, bad or not bothered :)

https://www.fasttech.com/product/1495400

Just added to my wishlist.

That is the hyper tank clone mate,

If it performs as well as the authentic ones you will be a very happy bunny. I have been doing a lot of shouting about these in different threads, they really are that good.
