Good to have him back =] We are lots quieter when he's away :p Now that he's ready to make some purchases I can stop... I've taken a good look at my vape gear and I think I'll be alright if any regulations tighten up or we have bans. I'm not sure what 'could' happen, but I'm not worried about it now =]

Nope no point in worrying, what happens happens.
The only thing what concerns me is regulating the liquid, but we have already won the first part of that fight (in the uk)

Thanks for the link, sucks, they are cheapest on batteries by far. Guess ill just have to start buying batteries from my b&m.

Sucks for everybody all around, phones, tablets, everything.
Well...they do ship but it goes thru China Post...aka "slow boat" so instead of 2 weeks...well gonna be quite a bit longer

In fact it will be longer but if they go straight to the boat..they don't get hung in limbo for weeeeeeks waiting to get xrayed only to be sent back anyway...so go "freebie" but really long wait China Post and then wait..and wait...and wait...and wait

This appears to be new

Hongkong Post - Notices - Guidance on Posting of Outbound Air Mail Items

No more paying the extra few cents for HKP...going straight thru with the "freebie" 30+ days "slow boat" option

Pass the word...but please PASS THE TRUTH!

And told you it's not ONLY FT that is getting hammered!
eBay Warns of Delays from Hong Kong Due to Lithium-Battery Ban

IMPORTANT - Shipping Info - Updated 10/28
Hi everyone

Here is a consolidated post of the latest shipping info. Please note we are not given advanced knowledge of any policy changes, so unfortunately, this post can only be reactive. Scroll down for update history log.

Thank you
FastTech

Current update - 10/28

China Post - 10/28 now available as a shipping option during checkout
Tracking Delay - about 3 to 5 days
"Normal" cylindrical batteries - officially banned
Built in batteries - officially banned
e-liquids - likely banned

Swiss Post - 10/28 now available as a shipping option during checkout
Tracking Delay - about 3 to 5 days
"Normal" cylindrical batteries - unknown/experimental
Built in batteries - unknown/experimental
e-liquids - OK

** Please DO NOT use China Post for batteries (all types) and e-liquid orders. If you do, FastTech will switch your order to another shipping method that we think is the most appropriate at the time of shipping. **

China Post - 10/28 now available as a shipping option during checkout
Tracking Delay - about 3 to 5 days
"Normal" cylindrical batteries - officially banned
Built in batteries - officially banned
e-liquids - likely banned

Swiss Post - 10/28 now available as a shipping option during checkout
Tracking Delay - about 3 to 5 days

Built in batteries - unknown/experimental
e-liquids - OK

Hong Kong Post
Delay - about 1 week for orders shipped within past 2 weeks. Longer for older orders
"Normal" cylindrical batteries - officially banned, but few returned packages lately
Built in batteries - officially banned, but few returned packages lately
e-liquids - unknown and not many returns

Singapore Post - on trial run - full return expected soon
Tracking Delay - about 3 to 5 days
"Normal" cylindrical batteries - officially banned
Built in batteries - "Officially OK" (pending confirmation from trial run)
e-liquids - "Officially OK" (pending confirmation from trial run)

EMS/Speedpost
Delay - no abnormal delay, only the standard 1-2 days for the website to update
"Normal" cylindrical batteries - officially banned, but few returned packages lately
Built in batteries - officially banned, but few returned packages lately
e-liquids - unknown but hardly any returns

USPS
Delay - A few days, no online tracking info until inspection scan.
"Normal" cylindrical batteries - officially banned, but few returned packages
Built in batteries - officially banned, but few returned packages
e-liquids - unknown but hardly any returns

DHL
Delay - no abnormal delay, only the standard 1-2 days for the website to update
"Normal" cylindrical battery - banned from using regular services, must use special "dangerous goods" service. Custom quotation required per order as price depends on what product (product must be major brand named), quantity, packaging, and destination -- VERY expensive and complicated. Not viable for most customers.
Built in battery - OK, ships normally
So no no no on batteries thru China Post...I was wrong!!!!!

Looks like USPS might be the way to go...but it's a crap shoot

Singapore post looks to be the only option that officially allows built in batteries & e-juice, I'll have to check out the rates next time I place an order.

I'm now wondering what's going to happen with my 2 orders, both of which contain devices with built in batteries.
Fasttech - order states shipped 21/10, not showing up on tracking.
Chinabuye - order states shipped 21/10. Tracking states "in transit" it's been saying that since 23/10.

WOOT, VTR for $71 ordered today.

Looks like they accepted a volunteer mod who then Rage Quit, probably not a good time to be an FT CS rep, especially unpaid.

As far as I can tell, ego type batteries are still getting through - a couple of workmates ordered ego batts recently and they came through without any problems. Maybe they were just lucky, I honestly don't know.

Looks like I'll have to buy my 18650's from a UK source from now on then. I was ready to order some more from FT too as well as some 14500's, but don't want to risk it - tanks only from now on :(

Someone mentioned that their Fasttech package was sitting in Acceptance far longer than normal and they searched it on Hongkong Post - Mail Tracking - the site said that their package had been returned to Fasttech.

I checked my packages and my package with the MVP2 and some eGos was returned to Fasttech while another package with just eGos has cleared and gone on... There may be some issues getting our MVP2s and our VTRs... I can't think of anything else that would have held up the package :'(

That's bad news Lisa. I'd much rather have an MVP2 than an ego.

Did you manage to get refunds from FT for the returned package or just a store credit ?

I'm gonna have a look on FT for a nice driptip for my Reo at some point - it will have to be either red or red and black. I quite like the look of the long tips that you posted a while ago, they would look really good on the reo/reomizer :)
