How did you find the ribbon Ian ? Dead easy to wrap isn`t it.:)

Yep really easy mate, didn't have to play around with spacing at all. Some wraps touching, some not, still works great

Nearly did your unwrapping trick too. Put the spool back in the bag after using it, heard a whooshing noise and realised the ribbon had unwrapped itself in the bag, at least it didn't bounce all over the kitchen

Thats a busy vape related day you have had yourself there ian! I saw your massive long list of goodies on the way from FT too... tut tut!!

Actually, i may have to splash out on a couple of things that i need this month - enjuice have a good cleaning kit for my provari with 99% isopropyl alchohol, which apparently is what you should use because anything lower can still leave grime. Plus i love the toffee apple & blackurrant & licorice from enjuice so may aswell get them all in one :)

It's quite deceptive though, only about $100 for all 3 orders. Spread that out over 3 weeks and it's not that much honest

Toffee apple sounds interesting, might have to see if I can find a DIY recipe for that one. I'm currently using up some of the less desirable liquids at the moment, so that hopefully in the New Year I can order some of the better stuff. May still vape my better juices at chrimbo though, just for a treat ;)

That's a good point about the dual airholes - i didnt think of that. I've just tried one of the FT coils on the aga, worked ok but not great although it was actually 3ohms, not the 1.8 it was supposed to be!

And as for that drip tip, it just doesnt feel right. I like to take a draw similar to how i used to take a drag on an analog, but longer and shallower, whereas with that i feel like i have to get my gob around it and take a big deep inhale rather than a 'puff'.

Are you watching the football Terry? It's one of the most boring matches i have seen for some time :/

Yes i am mate, that`s why i came on here (not very entertaining at all). If the ohm`s are too high cody, just unwrap 2 or 3 loops and that will lower them for you.

I found the same thing Terry with one of the dual coil drippers I got from FT. One of the coils shorted as soon as I tried to fire it - fired for about a second then died. I did a re-coil, before using it. The stock wicks seemed to be way too long too.
The first thing i do when anything comes with a wick installed, is trash it and put my own in. At least you know what you have got then LOL.

The cost factor is too much to ignore with FT, just soooo bloody cheap!

Toffee Apple is lovely - i bought a few 10ml samplers from enjuice a while back and those 2 really stood out, one of them - brandy alexander was the worst juice i have ever tried by a mile. I want to get at least 30ml of those 2 though, then i need to get 2 or 3 trip hammer 10ml flavours to try and hope they are up to fizzy trifle standards. Then i want to get a nice selection from alchemists cupboard & vapology.

I've lost patience with below par juices now, i just cant be bothered wasting my time on vaping something that i dont like for the sake of not wanting to waste a few £££. I'm going to stick with the 15 or so juices that i really enjoy and keep trying new ones that i could add.

I had a 30ml bottle of JAC vapour bubblegum in my cupbaord i'd forgotten about and just had some today - i thought the joose juice bubblegum was pretty much the same but now trying the JAC Vapour again it's much better. JAC vapour dont do many exciting flavours but they are strong (expensive at £16 for 30ml of UK made, but their chinese stuff is cheaper). I'm going to get myself a bottle of their blackurrant again though because its pretty much the strongest juice i have had from anywhere.

Just wait til you get the rocket mate, you'll laugh at the size of the pre-made coil. There's enough wick to make up 3 new ones and the space between the coil wraps I could drive my bus through them

Well in that case Ian i will just bin the coils, and keep the wick. I am running low on silica :toast:

Oh and all this talk of liquids, i just remembered i have got 4 to try tonight (been steeping for a week) and i had forgot all about em. Time to release the beast me thinks.

It's great when you find a juice again that you'd forgotten about. I've tried a few different blackcurrants and they were all pretty good strength wise. But, to be honest, I still prefer my DIY stuff. If I could only vape one juice for the rest of my days it would be a toss up between blackcurrant and GVC.

The ones I'm using now are still pretty good, if I hadn't tried anything better, then I'm pretty sure I would have been happy just vaping the below par ones. Guess I've been spoiled with my DIY, GVC and vapology juices. I've just added some extra flavouring to the juices that are just ok, it's made a big difference to them.

Honestly, you'll laugh when you open the chimney and see what's stuffed inside

Go for it Terry, get some serious clouds going. Which new flavours are they mate ??

Hopefully i can get some GVC soon, it's certainly in demand! I actually put 100ml in my cart when i was on a site a couple of months back and they had it in stock, then for whatever reason i didnt check out and the day after it was out of stock again!

I'll probably get into DIY at some point, but there are so many really nice flavours that i enjoy out there it may be a while until i get around to it. On second thought, if i am as bad at DIY juices as i am at building coils i may give it a miss!

I almost forgot.... how are you enjoying your pre-loved provari?

GVC is an excellent vape mate. It works best in a basic silica atty, so no need for fancy micro cotton coils or anything like that. I actually prefer it in a standard vivi nova with a basic silica wick at 1.8 ohms. Loads of flavour ....mmmm...

I got into DIY cos a lot of the standard juices just didn't taste strong enough for me. It is easier than coil building Cody, as long as you can measure things out fairly accurately. The good thing is, if you make a bad mix, it's easy enough to fix it by adding more flavour/pg/nicotine/sweetener etc. Just start off with one basic flavour (I'd recommend blackcurrant), get that one right and go from there.

The Vari prezzie from Lisa, is going great thanks mate. I've got the KFL on there now, plumes of vapour. I've ordered a driptip from FT just to match it

I've got to go now anyway, time for a bath then bed - up at 4.30am tomorrow :(

See you all later.

Glad your liking it mate. I love pineapple and cappuccino too, hope they taste as good as the ones I've got :)

See you tomorrow, time for me to disappear.

Here's a pic of the trident atop the ba gua with the gold plated drip tip on too. I've got the provari with a KFL on next to it for size comparision...

I'm branching into bakery juices now. They've always turned me off before, but I hit a Cinnamon Roll that steeped into a cinnamon spice, buttery, pastry deliciousness that I can't forget for long. I've got other pastry juices on a wishlist and will be getting samples to steep so I can decide what I want to chain vape next :p

Coils near the air holes... didn't know this, point noted.
