I'll be very interested on your take on the treacle tart and chrimbo cake mate. Just hope their better than the black forest gateaux I got, smelled great and tasted a bit like the cake, but was a bit much on the cherry licquer side for me - I'd have preferred more chocolate and cream to it. I did vape it all though ;)

They arrived this morning... pretty impressed with that as i selected the cheapest shipping option - £2 :) They smell fantastic and i'm gonna just have a couple of drops of each in the 306 dripper throughout the day then leave them to steep for a week or so and will let you know.

Hey Lisa, I've just found your perfect mod - loads of bling on this bad boy  :

https://www.fasttech.com/product/1516302

Seriously though, looks totally different from anything I've ever seen before. Just checked out the genuine article on google - nearly $200

I was looking at that myself the other day.... not bad, but there is no way i need another mech just now!

Yes it is the rocket ian,

I would keep your eye on your kayfun as well, i read in another thread that someone`s was going rusty inside the chimney:(

The key lime is very nice, pinapple nice but a tad bland on the flavour, cappacinno is so so i will steep it for a bit longer, and the bubblegum is just sickly sweet, not over keen on that at all.:nah:

I'm the same as Ian... i store all my stuff vertically so shouldnt be a problem, but cheers for the tip :)

Seeing as this seems more of a general chat thread than most others, I'll ask this here;

I have a Protank 2, just a Protank 2, nothing else.. Am into my 4th day vaping, and I have only tried menthols so far due to steeping of other liquids. My question is, is there any problem with using the same tank after using menthols or other liquids? Am wondering if the menthol liquid hinders the taste of the next liquid and if so whether to get another tank or not... Or will this not be a problem with a quick clean?

I alternate between menthols and other flavours all the time in my protanks and never had a problem. I've had the same heads in them for over a month now too. When i swap flavours over, i just rinse out the tank in warm water, clean off all the bits, then take the head off and give it a wipe down with a bit of tissue or something. I get a bit of the flavour from the last juice for the first 3 or 4 puffs then it's gone. I'm probably being lazy, but i am happy with the results so im not worried about it :)

That pipe is great - where did you get the equally great mouthpiece? I feel itchy fingers hovering over the keyboard - I mustn't buy it today (must I?)

The mouthpiece is actually from this:

T1 SCT Single Coil Cartomizer Tank (2.5mL) - 1.8ohm / translucent

I couldn't figure out how to fill their carto tank, so I put a 45mm Boge carto in a polypro tank with grommets & refill screw. The mouthpiece just fits over the Boge carto =] My tank is an original 3ml Valley View Vapes Boge carto tank. They went out of business, but you should be able to find polypro or pyrex tanks elsewhere.

http://www.valleyvapes.com/3ml-Triple-V-Polypro-Tank_p_19.html

I prefer the thinner mouthpieces, this one is at least 8mm wide :/ The tank does fit well on it though, great vape with a smooth Turkish tobacco.

Yes you are right cody,

He needs ganging up on that ian, he keeps having a bath you know. ( Bloody three ) he has had this year, Yes you read it right mate THREE

That's just a reckless waste of water imho. There's a hippo somewhere wandering about on dry mud because of all this selfish bathing behaviour. They don't like dry mud. It's so sad.

Greetings you smelly bunch of bathless vapers :w00t:

Welcome to the mad house Claire

Didn't have a bath last night Terry, my internet went down :p

Anyway, in other news. Checked my chimney last night, no problem at all - no signs of rusting or colour change anywhere, so I think it must be down to the flooding that I mentioned before. My KFL should be fine for years, it is the GENUINE KFL after all
The brown screws on the Rocket are because they're just a cheap generic screw, so I changed them out for a couple of spare stainless screws that I had lying around, so that's fixed that problem  I think the main reason they changed colour is cos I left the Rocket parts soaking in water for too long - when I'm vaping it, the liquid shouldn't really come in to contact with the coil screws.

Terry, I think I know why it was taking so long for your Kayfun to get shipped from FT - from the FT forum:

$18.06 Battery Powered Ultrasonic Wave Cleaner for Jewelry and Eyeglasses at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Tempted to get one of those... anyone had much success cleaning/washing with ultrasonic cleaners?

To be honest, I don't think you really need one. They would be good for cleaning a new tank before use. But the best thing to use an ultrasonic cleaner is for steeping juices, especially new DIY juice. The cleaner cuts the steeping time down dramatically

Most of my cleaning of used tanks is a quick rinse in soapy water, rinse in clean water and leave to soak for an hour or two. You can even soak new tanks in cheap vodka if you want.

I hope the WWF start a campaign about this and take out some TV ads like the ones where the tigers are caught in traps showing the poor dry hippos wandering about and then cutting to a film of the guilty party luxuriating in his wasteful bath

First it's you soaking in a bath, now it's soaking tanks in vodka - have you no shame!
