Thank you, Claire =] You described my issues PERFECTLY! I try for a 1.8oHm and when I get lower and close to subohms then AGA won't fire up on my other mods either! I certainly intend to test her on the Vamo tonight!

Indeed my Vamo V2 works perfectly with the Aga T2 sat on top!
1.19 ohms, you should defo get a resistance reading on the Vamo, but might be a touch low to fire her up, I tried a coil that read 1.1 and it wouldn't have it, I then tried a 1.8 ohm coil and fired her up nice and even. I've played about with higher and lower ohms and I like it around 1.8 best as it performs well on my mechs too, any higher and I don't feel the hit so good - but fine on Vamo cos you just crank her up!
The Aga T2 not only performs great with the vamo, but they look IMO as though they were made for each other - when the rest of my gear comes, the vamo and aga shall be pretty much permanently joined.
Let us know if your Vamo likes the Aga too
That's what I wanted to be cautious about, just offering it to someone who is genuinely interested by vv/vw devices but is on a tight budget and getting conned by someone who just wants to sell it on, I know it's shame on them but would rather genuinely help out someone on a budget than line the pockets of some skank!

I think I'm gonna have to thin my gear out a bit too. I'll probably stick it on the classies and see what happens. I'm keeping all the better stuff though
I honestly don't mind waiting mate. It's just the not knowing, that pees me off. I've got a good idea when the kayfun will be shipped though. I've just been checking out the reviews, they all seem pretty good so far, so I know it's worth waiting for.
I love messing with flavours too, DIY and pre-mixed stuff. At the moment, I've got some Liqua Berry mix topped up with some Hangsen Pineapple in my KFL tastes really good

Terry, I hate it when you can't have things exactly as you like them, it feels abnormal when I use mods with the little batteries (I'm having a blonde day thanks to toddler and puppy taking over my bed last night leaving me sleepless) as I'm so used to using the larger batteries.
Battery ordering is a must do tomorrow for me above all else now as one of my older protected ones decided to drop down to 3v earlier, so that's gone and I'll bet the ones bought at the same time are on the way out too - can't we invent a mod that you plug in and vape easy, only panicking when leaving the house or you forget to pay the leccy bill?
Lisa, I would be super grateful if you could mail me a few sets of spares, I'll look what I want tomorrow when I've slept and pm you so you can let me know how much with postage if that's alright?

No problem mate. I bet the lack of delrin in the chi, is what caused the self-firing. I was a bit dubious about reversing the battery in my chi, but to be honest it worked just fine that way. I know this won't work with a Vamo or SVD, but with a mech, the tubing forms part of the circuit when it's fired, so it still works with a reversed battery. I'll have to see if I can get a nice thick delrin washer for the chi, all the other mechs I have, have them installed. But even the genuine chi-you doesn't have the insulator, seems a bit daft really.
Not only daft ian, but dangerous; for the matter of a cent or 2. If you find any insulators let me know mate, after tuesday evening I wouldn`t want to experience anything like that again. I am also looking for some more 18500 batteries, if you have got any links mate.
Which wire are you using? With 30ga kanthal I do 12 wraps on a 1.7 drill blank at get around 8 - I find it easier to wrap micro's than regular and micros give me really consistent readings.
I'll be shocked if it won't at least read the agas resistance and if it does but won't fire you know you just have to do a few more wraps so it'll fire - got my fingers crossed your vamo and aga fall in love like mine did!

You're right Claire, both my Vamo and the SVD will both give sub-ohm readings, they just won't fire them.

Yeah the Tuesday batt was a given but strange your other didn't last either - did you get from person you've dealt with before for batts?

Well I've actually run out of Liqua berry mix now, but with all the shipping problems at the moment with FT, I think I'll wait til after chrimbo before I order any more.
I'd been using the 32 gauge with 7/6 or 6/5 wraps for around a 1.6 - 2.1 oHm coil. I actually MELTED the wire on some toppers, so I moved up to a 28 and a 24 gauge. The only problem is the larger the wire diameter, the longer it takes to heat the wire and fire up the topper :/ I've got a 28 gauge on the AGA right now and she's firing well =]
