Cheers mate. I've got quite a few different batteries already, but the ones I've ordered are the "cream of the crop" - so they should give a bit of extra security.

I've not had any mouth ulcers before, so the only thing I can think of is the juice. I've nearly finished the bottle now anyway, so it's not a big issue

well my taifun has packed in. cleaned it out today and i thought i would treat it to a new micro, which i did. now it won`t fire at all on any of my mods, i have checked and double checked all connections and nothing. the coil was reading 1.6 ohms. (any ideas anyone)

i suppose batteries are another one of them things that you cant have too many of so i am still learning something every day you will have to try and vape something not to spicy or citrus as i can imagine those setting it off as well so no pina colada for you

i would of thought if the coil was giving a reading then it had to work as there is not anything else electrically to them is there or am i wrong

Check the centre pin Terry, make sure it's connecting with the mod.

Did you check the coil resistance on a multimeter before installing it on the Taifun, or is it 1.6 ohms when it's in place on the Taifun ??

If it's not the centre pin that needs adjusting, you might have a short on the centre pin itself - which will mean taking the base apart to see if a seal has gone.

I think it's the flavouring that gives the fizziness to the juice. I know you can add vinegar or acetic acid to juices to alter the flavour a bit, so it might be that. It's nothing different in my diet, cos I do eat fairly healthily for a bus driver

Yeah i have even taken the centre pin out and put it back again. I checked the resistance when the coil was installed.

I bet the positive pin insulator needs replacing or something like that. You'd still get an ohm reading with a knackered insulator, but the coil wouldn't fire.

Yep tried everything i can think of Ian, when i took the centre pin out a tiny rubber o-ring came out does that just go at the base of the pin ?

From what I can remember it does mate.
