Nope, will just get them from FT. The Diver I got includes 45 wires, 1.8 ohm I think, so I'll be set for a while.

I do that anyway. I always press the button, then bring it up for a vape, 1 to 2 seconds before I vape it, that way I don't get a lot of air at the start. :D

:vapor:

Looks like you'll be set up for a long while then Burnie with the 45 wires.

I have to do the pre-vape button press when using the SS rope too. Even with a lower ohm coil it still takes a second or two to heat up. No big deal, as long as I remember to do it.

i have just had a awfull thought, when i get around to putting in my first order from fast tech. i will be singing for weeks waiting for delivery

You could always alternate between signing and dancing Ron - don't tire yourself out mate

Had a play with the kraken again
This time dual coil .25 canthal
No micro just standard 5 wraps around 2.4 diameter 0.8 ohm
And 3mm ecowool.
Up to now this seems like the best
Build very warm vape and plenty of vapour.
Good job it's only 6mg

Nice looking build Daz. Do you normally run duals on the Kraken ?? Just wondering how it compares to a single micro-coil.

Normally i run single micro with cotton. Just fancied a change and see how it goes. There seems to be a lot more flavour than single micro
More like my trident.
Also i find that sometimes i get a great vape of a new build but after a day or two it goes downhill a bit.
Fingers crossed this Will remain ok.

Guess I was lucky with the GVC, managed to get 50ml from pinkmule and 50ml from Vapourart. I found out about the stock situation by contacting Grant (of Grant's Vanilla Custard) directly through his website. He's a great bloke, got back to me the same day with links for sites that had it in stock :D

Betelgeuse and Gravity are lovely mate, you'll enjoy them. I see spiritus has the "Suicide Bunny" range in too as of today - that's another one I'm gonna try out too.

Try tracking the parcel here Cody :

Track Shipment(s)

I'll be ordering some more cappuccino from Vapology again soon too, nearly run out now - I only use it in the Reo though, cos it does tend to gunk up coils pretty good. The Reo/RM2 is the easiest to slap some new cotton in, so I'll stick with it for the cappuccino.

How you doing with the coils at the moment Cody ??
I gather you were working this weekend just gone, cos you could have popped over here for a coil building session. In fact my next long weekend is March 14th - 17th. My offer still stands for a coil building master class if you're free then :D The Friday, Sat or Monday are best for me, cos we normally have a family meal on the Sunday - if you fancy it, just let me know mate :)

Cheers for the link ian :) I think i have used that tracking site before with success, but it's just timing out on my current FT tracking numbers - could be down to my internet connection/laptop though as it's been slow internet access/email, etc today.

In any event neither of my FT orders have arrived yet, and no vapology juices, but they were custom mixes and i know they have been dispatched so prob tomorrow or Wednesday for them. I'm in no rush for them anyhow as i have plenty of juices, toppers that are working well for me, etc.

I think i'm making reasonable progress with my coil building, although i still find it really fiddly and to be honest i dont think the manufacturers of the RBAs are going out of their way to make it an easy process. If RBAs end up taking over and becoming the primary player in the ecig market then they are going to need to make things a bit more simple. I see more and more ads on TV/in magazines for ecigs along with more (mainly negative) media coverage all the time, so i think ecigs are just going to grow and grow in popularity. Unfortunately, regulation / taxation is going to impact on the expansion, but whatever happens they are here to stay and will only get more popular so i think there is going to be a really big market for RBAs with a really simple coil replacing system. Slotted screws like those in the trident are the way forward for me, but a bit more room for your wick and coil would also be good, along with a non-conductive platform so it doesnt matter if it touches it.

I digressed a little there! I'm managing to have decent success with getting coils on the trident, i've pretty much given up with the aga, and i give the KFL a try now and then, which is going ok, but still it's a hassle compared to my carto tanks and the flavour that i have been getting out of the KFL is no better than the cartos and i know it should be. I'm going to keep trying, and may take you up on your offer of a tutorial ian (many thanks again!) but i'll soldier on with it for now.

Quick update - the vapology juices arrived and they are currently steeping and the blackurrant & Licorice is stinking out the place (in a good way).

Unfortunately, I've had to stop vaping the CLS as the carto was just too hard to get a draw out of and was producing hardly any vapour after 15ml. It could be because it's a thick juice or it may be that the carto was just one of the bad 'uns. I use smok 1.5 or 1.8 2 hole cartos and it does vary on how long they last. I'd say 30ml is normal, 15ml is the worst I've experienced and the best getting on for 50ml.

Just a quick check in today, been a lllloooonnnnggggg work day today and I'm knackered - knew I shouldn't have agreed to do overtime

Ron- keep up the dancing mate, we'll see you on Britain's Got Talent soon

Daz - hope the duals are still running ok for you mate :D

Cody - I used to feel the same way about lack of space in an RBA until I started doing micro-coils. If I could send you some micros I would do, but you really need to fit them on the deck with the drillbit still in place. Is it the fitting of the coil that's a pain for you mate ??
With the CLS, why not add a few drops of distilled water to thin it out a little. Or maybe some PG, but this will dull the flavour a little. I've started using my Vapology cappuccino only in the Reo now and my GVC only in the Taifun - cos of the thickness of the juices. Just had another thought, what about a carto punch to put an extra hole or two in the carto for the thicker juices.

Anyway, that's my lot for today, sorry to say. Work, eat and sleep - I live a glamorous life :(

Really want to get into rebuilding, just seems like so much effort and I can't seem to persuade myself to do it.

I bought the Igo-L I think it was from FT soon after I started vaping, and didn't enjoy it one bit. Flavour was there, but the TH was disgusting and far too harsh. Not to mention very minimal vapor, even with the airhole lined up with the coil.

I've found myself just buying standard heads for my PT, and replacing them when I feel the need to.

Help me?:(

Only thing I can comment on is the SVD, Love mine, nice for the price. If mine crapped out I would have to get another if I could not fix it.

Funny that, I just changed my mind and am going for the MVP v2 instead.. :D

Have read a few reviews online and most people are saying there isn't much to split the two.. just that one is a box mod.

I just don't really like a box mod, just a me thing, hope you like it.

I have 15ml of the CLS left, so i'll try it in another carto soon and see how it goes. Hopefully, it was just a bad carto, but if not then i'll give the slotted cartos a try as they seem to get a bit more juice into them. I might have to get myself a sofia next month as i've given myself a £100 budget to buy a few needful things up until March payday ;) It is indeed just getting the coils onto the platform and secured that seems to be my problem. I have made several microcoils and through beginners luck or just getting them right they all came out in the 1.5 - 1.8ohm range where i wanted them. I just need to fiddle with them a little after pulsing, and get myself a damn torch to blast them with before putting them on.

I've spent my budget this morning, consisting of;

MVP2
30ml grizwalds gourmet chocolate limes
IBTanked 22mm XL Tank with red/bold swirl, anodized red caps & drip tip + 4 1.8ohm PP cartos (including delivery all that for £30.56 - bargain!)

Actually, i have £15 left... perhaps i should get some of that Mrs Lords seville orange marmalade liquid i've been eyeing up ;)

PS - the liqua menthol is lovely, but is more minty than menthol. I too am waiting for 3X30ml liqua menthol, 2X30ml liqua mixed berry and pack of protank coil heads!

I'd say go for more coil wraps to increase the ohms a little that should help with the throat hit. Also, you need to play around with the coil height too, this affects the throat hit as well as the amount of vapour produced. Finally make sure you don't put too many drops in, when you're dripping if you put too much juice in, it will either come out of the airhole or saturate the wick too much which cuts down on vapour production. Sometimes making the airhole bigger can help with flavour and vapour production. I've drilled out a lot of my RBA's to 1.5 or 2.0 mm. But if you overdo it, it does kill the flavour a bit. It's a balancing act between coil set-up, airhole size and juice amount - just takes a bit of time.

The berry mix is lovely, you'll enjoy that. Not tried the iClear 16's myself, but I did have an iClear 30 many months back, great flavour and vapour but leaked a bit too much for me.

The MVP is a cracking mod too, so you shouldn't have any problems with that one.

Same as me Cody, I end up spending my vape budget and then some

I'm just deciding which new tips to get for my 1 year vape anniversary, probably go with the tru-stone ones - something a bit special.

A torch is a must have mate for micros. Once you've built the coil and torched it, put it back on the drillbit and try to pre-shape the legs for the coil posts. At first it seems like you need four hands to do this, but it does get easier with time. Always leave the drillbit in place until everything is tightened down and the coil is in the right position. You can always slacken the post screw and lift the coil a little (with the drillbit still in place) if you need it higher from the deck. Taking out the drillbit and popping in the wick is always the last thing to do :D

I ordered my VTR and 2 x 2pack of panasonic 18650's From Fasttech on Valentines day (meaning I spent more on me than Mrs lick that day :) )
It was "Shipping" 4 days later
Now I get naff all info on the "tracking" page...I don't know how long I should wait, but I don't do patience well...

With FT you do need a hell of a lot of patience mate. It can take anything from 2-5 weeks to arrive :(

Drip tips do look cool, but you are right, pricy.

Well I keep on telling the Wife that my PV's are works of art and shouldn't be hidden away in my vape cupboard. But for some strange reason she only wants paintings, photos and ornaments on display in the house

The tips are all custom made pieces, so they will all be unique. I've got quite a selection of tips now :D
