Yes, it is Terry.
Part of the order that was mis-labelled.

The J C Red Oak strawberry one is 100% VG too - none in the flavouring either with those, but apparently strawberry is a fruit flavour that can have potential problems with certain irritants. (A chart elsewhere on the ECF forum)

I will ask CV about it and the 'vapetto' part though ...could be something in that I suppose. In time, one or two common denominators may emerge.

Just had a thought: I ordered the Mint Choc Vapetto ..haven't really tried much in the way of chocolate, but as far as I know, there's nothing in chocolate that should irritate, so if I'm OK with it, it may be the strawberry after all!
It can all get pretty confusing! ....I make notes!

I taste Orange buttercream and biscuit, but not sure I like the orange buttercream taste. It's sort of OK.

I found it an OK one as well, not good, but not bad, useful as an occasional vape

PG in flavouring doesn't seem to bother me, but any more certainly does after a few days.
I love the CV Caramel Cappuccino, and I like the Lews Brew too - plus they also mix together nicely! I got 30mls in both of those.

Hadn't thought of doing that, must give it a try, I'm a coffeeholic, drink more of that than anything else.

Well I ordered the Kona Velvet Milkshake, but as you'll see in my reply to Terry, got some other different ones. I'd only wonder if I didn't try them. I was mostly the Kona one, Drunken Pirate, Maple French Toast & Marshmallow ones that caught my eye. The others do sound nice though ...we'll just have to see!
Imagine: Maple French Toast in one hand, Double Espresso in the other! ;) Breakfast!

Those little bottles are 1.8oz or 4.3ml - not cheap, but I was keen to try them. I'm not fond of glass bottles though!

Breakfast! Yes they were not cheap, think I'll stick with Strix Elixirs in the States, I like most of their ones, but no good for you as they are 60/40

I was brought up pre-decimal too. Seeing my work deals with both types of measurement, I'm pretty much ok with inches/cm etc., not too bad with kilos/lbs. but not that clued up on liquid conversion.
The currency rates change that often, I'm glad of the online conversion sites!
I do have friends and colleagues in the US too, so quite used to them discussing things in imperial measurements - as long as it's not liquid ..can't get my head around quarts!

I worked on the Railway so miles/kilometers are okay, and there are 2 pints to a quart, 4 quarts to a gallon but I'm the same converting liquids, prefer litres nowadays, although I always buy my milk in 4 pint bottles, I blame Morrisons for that.

I always think of cats as being fickle & discerning :) Our two dogs are very different: one not at all motivated by food mostly, the other adores bread and salad and will steal both given the chance. She loves fruit too and eats two pears every night!

Mine hardly ever wants anything that we eat, although he does like a bit of cheese or fish now and then, and he loves the garlic butter from Icelands Chicken Kievs

I do like the coffee ones ..generally have found the cappuccino ones to have a better taste, and especially caramel ones, but I do like Lews Brew: best I've had for a standard coffee so far, as is their Caramel Cappuccino.
Recently, I mixed the two together in an Evod and added 2-3 drops of Capella Cappuccino flavouring ..very 'coffee'! :)

Seems coffee ones can be very hit and miss, so finding a couple of good ones like CV's is great!
Reminds me: I must re-try the LT Mocca and the other coffee ones soon - they needed to sit a while, and I've hardly used any of them since.

Breakfast! Yes they were not cheap, think I'll stick with Strix Elixirs in the States, I like most of their ones, but no good for you as they are 60/40
Yes, there's a number of decent sounding ones that I can't use ...never mind, seem to be finding my way :)

Ours comes in 4 pint containers too, they do state the litres but I tend to recognise 'pints' best!

Garlic!
We were surprised to find that one of our dogs really likes a little Rogan Josh lamb curry! The other one just stays asleep when she smells it! The sound of aerosol cream brings her running though! (we use a little of the low fat version on fruit).

Only just recovered from yesterday's late shift. What a night I had, drunks, dickheads, drunks, idiots, drunks and that was just the teenage girls - did I mention the drunks

Had to throw 4 girls off the bus that were being abusive to passengers and swinging off the poles. A drunk just walked on and refused to pay, tried to get in the cab. Just as I was about to get out and gently persuade him off the bus, a friendly rugby player saved me the hassle. Then to top it all off, last trip into Manchester and a gang of lads decide to throw bar stools at each other in the middle of the road right in front of me. Probably one of the worst late shifts I've had in a long time :(

-------------------------------------------------

I see a lot of talk about orange type juices. There's one I'd recommend from Alice in Vapeland in the States - Orange Creamsickle. Wasn't that impressed when I first got it, but once it had steeped for a month it's lovely now. Their juices are quite subtle to start with, but I asked them for extra flavour shots and they were happy to oblige. The CS there is superb, you get lots of little extra touches in the order, like a personalised note.

Terry, you'll have to let me know, if there's anything in particular you want me to try making up in DIY. I've got all types of fruit, dessert and bakery flavourings as well as stuff like honey and caramel. So if you can think of anything before this Friday, just let me know - that's when the mixing marathon will begin

I remember when my lads were small and the strawberry opal fruits etc used to have them bouncing off the wall, proper hyper LOL. So maybe it is that trish, something to do with the flavouring.

I hope you get to the bottom of it though. :)

Thanks for the offer ian, very decent of you kind sir. I will be sending some to you tomorrow mate.

...and that's just the school run! ;) ...no seriously, there's a dark side to life after dark!
I spoke to someone who, on two nightshifts this weekend dealt with a person literally run over by a car, a murder, a rape, a mentally ill person wandering the roads, and a car chase ...then had to shoot an injured wild animal when no vets would attend to help the poor thing.
...and they wonder why I prefer to just stay at home!

You need a bodyguard Ian!

I saw a similar orange creamsicle on VirginVapors (I can get 100% VG) but I was ordering from their standard range samples and that's in the organic. If I like the samples I've ordered, I may try a few of the organic ..just have to see.

Time will tell I suppose! I can eat a huge bowl full of strawberries and suffer no ill effect, but synthetic flavouring is something else completely.
For someone who was never allergic to anything, this has come as a surprise! :(

Yep I'm the same, it's very rare we go out for a drink these days. I was surprised how bad it was last night, it's normally a route that I enjoy doing. But, I'm hoping last night was an exception.

You know me mate, I aim to please. If there's any from the last batch of samples that you really like, I'll mix up some bigger batches too. I've been trying to find a recipe similar to the Fluffy nuts, but so far I'm drawing a blank. Next time I order some flavourings, I'll see if I can get a biscuit base and have a go at creating my own. I've already got the raspberry, something similar to marshmallow and various creams, so we'll see.

I'm still waiting for FT to convert my rebate points, so I can get ordering again. Might just do a small order in the meantime, see if that speeds them up a bit

 I know exactly what you mean. Normally I might got one incident a month on a late shift. But last night, just seemed to be continuous hassle. The rugby player was my bodyguard last night, throwing the drunk off the bus. When he tried to open the cab door, I was just about to get out and gently usher him off the bus with my size 10 boots. Suddenly, this 6"6' bloke comes to the front, says I'll handle this. Picks up the drunk by the collar and escorts him off the bus. Saved me having to scuff my boots

Well I know most of the flavourings in e-juice are synthetic ones, apart from a few vendors that use natural extracts. Did you know that raspberry flavour initially came from the .... glands of a beaver. I'd love to know who first found that out  But these days most flavours are just a mixed bag of different chemicals. I know Burnie does his own flavour extractions from coffee beans. I'll probably have a try myself at some point.

I could have handled it myself, the drunk was a lot smaller than me  But it's great that people will still step in to help.

I honestly thought it was a joke at first when I heard about raspberry flavouring. Hasn't put me off it though

Reading what Ian just said about raspberry flavouring's origins, this puts a whole different slant on it!

Well that's two more FT orders done. I will be doing a third one when my rebate points get sorted out.

Order 1 :

https://www.fasttech.com/p/1141101
https://www.fasttech.com/p/1686801

I've had the Panny batteries before, still going strong. Plus the blue Samsung batteries are a cracking price too, for such a quality battery. Put these in one order so they can send them about by Malaysia Post. My last battery order came through just fine using MP, so I'm hoping this one will be the same.

Order 2 :

https://www.fasttech.com/p/1558901
https://www.fasttech.com/p/1666400
https://www.fasttech.com/p/1643302
https://www.fasttech.com/p/1643301
https://www.fasttech.com/p/1645505

Switch magnets for the Nemesis mod. Hybrid connector for the Nemmy and a Kayfun - if this does the job I will get a couple more. Set of blue Nemmy tubes and a set of red Nemmy tubes. Plus a full black 18650 Nemmy mod. I may have some spare coloured tubes, once I've finished doing the mix and match process, so someone might be in for a free gift :D

Order 3 will be the following items (when the rebate points get sorted out) :

https://www.fasttech.com/product/1493800
Plus another Kayfun, but I'm not sure which one yet. Maybe a couple of driptips too.

Well you have done it again Ian :D I took my youngest out earlier for something to eat, as the wife was working. I managed to empty the kayfun which had juicy fruity in.

Got home cleaned it out, fresh wick and filled her up with terry`s jungle juice. I am vaping it right now and it is bloody good stuff, well done again Ian and thank you.

I am trying to work out the flavours, but struggling as my taste buds are knacked but would i be right in saying there is some tangerine or something similar in it. ??

Ian i could have let you have an 18650 black nemmy tube ! If you want to cancel that part of your order i wll gladly send it you. The brass nemmy is nice but a real muck collector. :( You will have to keep on top of it with the old brasso mate.:)

EDIT: I wonder how cody went on with his professionally built kayfun.:D

You're not far off mate, it's got orange, mango, passion fruit, blueberry, blackcurrant, raspberry  and cream with a bit of sweetener. Glad you like it though Terry. It's one of those recipes that I managed to get the percentages right on the first try, so I'm pretty pleased with it too :D I based it on a similar recipe I found but changed a couple of flavours and added the sweetener and cream to make it pop a bit more.

It certainly does Trish, trust ian to know something like that.:D

You know me, I'm full of useless info

Thanks for the offer mate. To be honest, I've ordered it mainly for the switch and top cap. I'll use the tube but it's mainly for the other bits. When I get the brass nemmy, I want to get two full mods but with mix and match parts. If you've got a spare switch I'll happily take that off your hands :p:laugh: Thanks anyway Terry, I appreciate it :D

I hope Cody's getting along with the Kayfun today. I told him he may need to play around with the amount of cotton, cos I spent more time lining up the airflow, coiling it and making sure it won't leak through the fill screw. As long as he's enjoying it that's the main thing :)

Nah mate no spare switches :p That was probably the best way to send the kayfun back Ian, as he can now get the gist of it.
