Well once you get into dripping, there's no going back Trisha - you will have joined the dark side of vaping and there's no going back

Once you've got into dripping, I'll see if I can persuade you to buy a Vmod like mine. Same principle as dripping, but it's classed as a bottom feeder  You feed the juice up into the bottom of the atomizer instead, but it has it's own juice bottle and battery built in. The technical term for feeding the atty is called "squonking" cos that's the sound it makes when you squeeze the bottle to feed the juice. I can run the same atty in a Vmod for about 3 months before it needs changing - great device :D

Waiting for my 18500 Firebox to arrive from iVapour-elixir, so i can start Squonking

We ARE the Normal ones, it's all the rest, all those ANTZ etc., that are not normal
Couldn't agree more ..I think they all got infected with the 'EU Anti Virus'

To be fair, all the family are really happy I stopped smoking and using e-cigs instead ......but if they saw all these batteries, Evods, clearomisers and bottles, they'd likely start to wonder!
I just hope no-one reaches to the desk tidy for a pen ..more likely to get a battery!

Only yesterday, my husband was in here and asked 'what on earth are all those little bottles' ....put on my best innocent face and replied 'just sample sizes' Never occurred to him to ask 'of what?'

People are used to getting vague responses or an impatient glance if they venture through the door to this room unbidden, so perhaps not too out of character! ;) :D

A couple of my friends don't have a computer or email, so texting is the only way, Android fan myself don't like anything Apple, since I had problems years ago with the original iPods, and trying to use iTunes on a PC. I went PAYG on mine, I was spending £25/m on a contract and found I was hardly using it, now put on about £20 every 6 months, saved me loads of money, and I can still use things like FB, email, and other apps.
I did think about getting an android PAYG. Perhaps I should!

I'm the same, when out with friends, I'm normally the quiet one, only speaking up when something catches my attention. I'm hopeless taking pictures full stop :)
I'm the type who likes to sit at a café and watch life pass by - can be interesting and amusing at times! ...and I don't have to make conversation!
My cameras are Canon set on tripods and used for my work purposes - I get really good photos too at times (set-ups, finished work etc.), and some have to be used for publishing, but I've never used one of the cameras outside hand held!
Long time since I used a point & shoot lightweight one too.

Or get the LR 510 ones, they're a bit longer, but take normal drip tips, it's what I use for testing new flavours, the other thing you could try Trish is a carto.
I'll take a look later - saw the link, thank you!

Typing? you should try painting ..I just tried it and put a leaf on the front end of a pear! :D

So you get me dripping and now you want me to be a squonker? You do realise my family are under the impression that I'm perfectly normal (I did say impression) :D

I can resist! ....I can! ....yes I can!

Oh yeah? You do know I wear a tin foil hat at all times ? :D
Those things look like a large lighter with a chimney on it! ...full of 'bits' too - 8-o

My Wife is pretty good at painting, mainly water colours though. I'm hopeless at things like that. My paintings would probably look better if I did do them cross eyed

Nothing normal about being a vapour, although our numbers keep growing so maybe one day ;) My family think it's a bit strange that I've got all this gear, when their happy with just a basic ego set-up, but when they have a try at a Kayfun they do understand why I like my strange hobby so much :p:laugh:

Good description of the Vmod, they do look like that

If you get stuck mate i will order it for you no probs.

Cheers for that Terry, I appreciate the offer mate. Think I've managed to persuade the Missus that she needs some of the cotton yarn for her knitting and for tying up her sweet peas in the garden. So I can use her ebay account to get some ;)

Something else learned! :)
Steeping: I usually just squeeze the air out a couple of times and let them sit on top of a chest of drawers with a sheet of paper or card over them.
I'll leave the blueberry ones a couple of weeks and try them again.

I think perhaps I expected too much from all of them after finding such nice ones!
Still annoyed I can't use the Strawberry Vapetto for more than a few minutes - I do like that one!

Confusion is unusual, but I do taste clotted cream with a bit of caramel - very nice! ..and the time I added the RY on top of a little was really good! :)

It's the best way to steep them Trisha. Leave them in a dark cupboard with the caps off. Give them a daily shake - with the caps on obviously :p and replace the air in the bottle every so often too.

Sometimes you expect a juice to be superb and then it's a let down. But other times you don't expect much and their lovely. Bit of a gamble with juice buying.

I used to catch the bus to work at 4 am and saw the same thing, thinking the same, not only who but what do they talk about for hours and hours.

It's my missus that says she rattles

Same here, I just leave her once she's got over the first few minutes, she'll probably think a few hours later that something has happened

I think sometimes it's the speaking clock on the other end of the phone  they just do it to show off their new mobile.

Guess to people that don't know about Epilepsy, it probably seems scary and strange. To me, it's just something that happens, I don't tend to think about it until after it's ended. I just go into automatic and sort out the immediate incident. Afterwards, it's a case of - glad I managed to get her breathing during the seizure.

Waiting for my 18500 Firebox to arrive from iVapour-elixir, so i can start Squonking

That's a lovely looking piece of kit Bob - not seen that one before. Good price too. Squonking does take a bit of getting used to. Took me a day or two to get over the flooding stage, but the Vmods are what I use at work all day - their that dependable.

well we decided to clear out the spare bedroom today. A job that should have taken a couple of hours, went on for most of the day  I'll just go in and throw away loads of junk, the Wife has to examine every single article. Guess I should have done it while she was at work

Also recoiled the Kraken and the RSST today. Was gonna do a dual coil in the Kraken, but couldn't find anything to fit the grub screw in the second wick hole, so I'm running a single 1.4 ohm coil with rope and cotton instead. Used the 2mm airhole in the RSST this time, it is a better vape than the 1.5mm airhole in my other RSST - time to get the drill out again

Had a lovely prawn rogan josh for tea too, with rice, peshwari nan and onion bhajis - proper stuffed now and still got the poppadoms and mango chutney to get through

Had a pretty lazy day today, i made our dinner (liver and onions) YUM. Finshed off a tank of ian`s berry blast, quick clean and filled it with RY ...... What a really nice and flavoursome vape, The last 10 ml i got i just used it in the dripper and it tastes just as good in a kayfun.

I also dripped some more of the jamaican this afternoon, no change. But i have got the confusion out as well now so i will give that a blast :laugh:as soon as i can put the RY down.

You can't beat a lazy day.

I'll be mixing some more berry blast tomorrow.

Looks like the Aios is finally sorted out too now - about bloody time :D Think next time I get the drill out, I'll be opening up the airholes a bit though - I've got the berry blast in the Aios now. Not had chance to have a play with the iAtty yet though mate, but I think that will get the drill treatment too

If i remember correctly Ian i drilled the i atty out to 1.5, just so you know where you are up to with it. Don`t be rushing with the juices for me mate, i have got plenty to be going on with.

I'll try it with the 1.5 mm to start with then, thanks for letting me know :D

I've been looking for other recipes that I can play around with and adjust to taste, but to be honest nothing really grabs me at the moment. Normally there's loads that I think sound good, but at the moment nobody seems to be coming up with anything different. I might just grab 5 or 6 random flavours and see what happens

I know i have said it before Ian, but it looks like i am getting close to my five or six ADV`s and i will be happy with that. Not that i will stop being adventurous in trying different juices, but in the 19 month`s i have now been vaping it has been a bit of a hard trek. It can also get very expesive buying juices then find out you can`t stand them.

Literally like chucking money down the drain if you know what i mean.

Water colour is the most difficult paint medium to master ...no margin for error! :)
Cross-eyed paintings could turn out well ...perhaps abstract masterpieces! :D

My husband and younger son both used to smoke, but the former stopped in '93, the latter around 8-9 years ago. Neither would want to try mine! They do rather like the smell of some of them though.

I'll have to clear a bit of cupboard space then! How long do I need to do that with them?

I find it amazing that some can smell wonderful and be a total let down for flavour!

I think sometimes it's the speaking clock on the other end of the phone  they just do it to show off their new mobile.
Could be! I asked our eldest when he was here earlier, and he reckons people are talking to the person they just left ...:?:

It can scare people if they don't know anything about it - Years ago, I once had a work experience girl in the office where I worked, and she had a seizure one day, and the MD was yelling at me to do something quick! He was panic stricken! (I was also the first aider at work as I had St John Ambulance certificates).

We have a large dog who started having seizures every time the groomers were due to make their monthly call. Vet didn't want to start her on meds because she was only 3 when it started, so seeing they seemed stress induced, I found some capsules for extreme stress in dogs: Zylkene, and if we give her one for 3 days before they come and 7 days after, she stays mostly free of them. She's only had one seizure in the last 3 years. Pity people can't have it controlled so simply.
The first time she had one was early morning while I was still asleep, and my husband didn't know what it was, so tried to help her and got his hand badly bitten.

Are you sure you Son wants you to use the iPhone, or buy the iPhone so he can use it
Time was I'd have thought so, but he's grown out of that a long time ago, and way ahead of me with phone and TV technology. They bought new iPhones in Apple NY just before Christmas last December. Shame too because he sold his old one for around £100 when he got it.
They want me to get one because they say text messages are free between iPhones and the other son has one too. I can count on one hand the number of times I've thought it would be useful to send a text instead of email, but I suppose it does have it's uses.

You must all be the same! My husband does that if I don't watch what's being done. He threw out a fairly valuable large unglazed Masons jug that had been given to me for a project I was doing for a collectors edition, and they'd kindly let me keep it! He's thrown a lot more away too. He just can't tell the difference between good stuff and rubbish!

 I love them things, so much so that we have the tree in the back garden. :D
Me too! ...and apricots and plums. Got plum, quince and apple in the garden, and just planted a fig and a mulberry last year. If only I could find a space, greengages would be nice!

You know we planted a cherry tree just two years ago. Last year it fruited, but nothing significant, and this year it really is thriving. There is already some fruit on there but no where near ready to be picked untill summer time. Have to watch the pigging birds this year, as the little fruit we had on it went in their greedy beaks.:D

But in all honesty i love nature, so if the birdies get there first, so be it.

I was looking through all the flavourings at Chefs Vapours yesterday ..there's a lot! A brand called Mom & Pop seemed to have some interesting ones, and I thought some may be nice to just use a couple of drops now and then to give something bland a lift or a different edge.

I seem to have a number of dud ones that are either weak, nothing like expected, or just plain horrible.
None of the CV ones are horrible, just not to my taste or don't agree with me. I don't think I'll try the Green eyed Monster or The Disciple.

I'm very taken with the Mint Chocolate Vapetto - the chocolate flavour is really good and the mint more of a coolness, and I'm using it a lot ..so much so, I already have only 20% of the bottle left! I ordered some more yesterday along with ABC and Honey & Lemon and some more Confusion. I want more RY next time I order.
Not getting 30ml bottles until I see which ones gunk up the coils, and can ask if they'll make it with a bit more water and flavour! I know the Jamaican Ginger does it with my VG version. Have any of you noticed that happen with any of them yet, or is it just me with the VG?

I went back to the Twisted today because I quite liked it - the sweet lime and fruit flavour has a marked coolness that is really nice along with the creamy taste too. The strawberry and pineapple in it does make me slightly out of breath, so just for a short while at a time!
The Jungle Juice isn't a favourite, and does have more of the fruits that give me problems.

Fantastic that the cherry is doing so well!
Our plum had four on it the first year and just as they were ready to pick, the birds nicked them  It had none last year and only a few branches with blossom this year ...so we'll have to see what happens. The quince had lots of blossom and so far, the little beginnings of fruit are still there, but we've seen most of them (if not all) drop off before developing into anything much - quince are temperamental things.
The fig seems very slow to produce even leaves this year, and the mulberry is the same, but they are slow. I think the fig is on Med time because it produced lots of figs right at the end of summer last year and they all died off with the first hint of cold! :)

No it`s not just you trish, the darker liquids do gunk coils up very quickly.Thats where dripping comes in really handy.:D I am trying the confusion right now, and i have to say it is a wonderful vape. Very creamy caramel i get.

Keep away from that strawberry trish if you can.
