Well look what happens when I leave you lot unsupervised for a few hours :

I get blamed by Terry for everyone's various addictions.

Trisha buys a new vacuum cleaner.

Carl puts in an FT order.

Burnie reveals his secret to marital bliss.

and Cody doesn't spend any more money.

:laugh::lol::laugh::lol:

Sorry about disappearing, no I wasn't spending either :p Ended up watching a film on Netflix.

---------------------------------------------------------

Trisha, I agree with Terry (unusual I know ;)) about nicotine. The only reason I mainly use 18mg now is cos most of my devices are so efficient now, otherwise I'd still be permanently on 24mg juice. After all this time, I've no plans to drop the nic level :D

Carl, just one thing to look out for mate. The black coating will start to wear thin after a while on the Vamo, it happened with my V2 after a few weeks - didn't really bother me too much, I just got a wrap to cover it

Terry, have you been out on the bike recently ?? Also do you need someone to look after it for you while you're away ??:laugh:

No i haven`t been out since last week ian with all the rain we have been having :( And Thanks for the offer, but it will be under serious lock and key in my purpose built lean to. :D

It's a pain when the weather stops you going out mate.

Didn't think you'd want to take me up on the offer

Anyway, I've got a split shift later this week, so I'll get chance to pop to the PO then and send those magnets and the batteries off for you mate. I might pop something else in the package too - but it will be something nice :laugh:

Bloody used to it Ian :D TBH bikes which i have had in the past, i have ridden in all sorts of weather including snow. But because there is so much chrome on this one, i would be forever cleaning her. Plus i only ride for pleasure now.

Thanks for the switch magnets mate, and the surprise. As long as it isn`t a richard the third. :p

I don't blame you Terry. I had a set of special alloys on one of my cars that were chromed, it was a nightmare having to clean them after every bit of bad weather, sold them in the end.

There will be 3 of the magnets, you should only need 2 for a nice soft switch, but you'll have a spare then as well. No tur*s in the parcel don't worry

I'm gonna pop off now anyway. Night all.

Sometimes FT can be really quick at dispatching orders, guess a lot of it is down to the time difference. I think one of my orders dispatched within 15 minutes of ordering, good timing I guess :D

You can always get some tips in your next FT order Trisha ;)

If your FT order is now in the country you might get it within a day or two. They generally come in through Heathrow, so from there it's down to RM.
My next FT order ? ...yes, I suppose - OK
The RM bit is often the one that dawdles!

I've heard a few people say that the reduction from 6mg to zero is the hardest, so if you do plan on going zero nic, just take it slowly. I didn't start vaping to quit nicotine, I did it to save money - fat chance of that :laugh:
I reckon there'll be a lot of truth in that - down to 0.6 I hardly noticed, but thinking about less doesn't feel right for now. I can always get some bottles of zero and just add small amounts to the 0.6, and try equalising the ratio gradually. I'll see when I feel ready to do that.
I don't want to stop though - having something to puff at is good! :)
I didn't even intend to stop smoking ..happened by accident - but once I realised I just may manage it, it was the thought of no people nagging at me, no cigarette smell in the house or my hair, or on my clothes, and to save money! Save money? Hah!
I suppose it may just stop me falling off my perch sooner too!

Well what a shame :(;)
 I'se one of your ECF friends, that's what! :)

I have to ask - what make bike is it?
As long as it isn`t a richard the third. :p
...doubt it, he's staying in Leicester! ;)

That's a nice bike! Can't say I've particularly seen one of them before, but it's a smart looking machine!
70mph is quite enough these days! You reach a time when you realise you aren't immortal ..comes as a shock, but we all get that revelation.

My love affair with bikes back in the day was with Bonneville's, Thunderbirds, Rocket, Flash, Gold Star etc. :) They'd likely scare me witless now!
Summer weekends at the coffee bar were great: bikes, Cokes, coffee, Cheeseburgers and the juke box!

Yes you are right there Trish, and that realization hit me when both my parents died. I do try to be as careful as i can when out riding, but there are so many idiots on the road these days, it does take ALL of my attention to stay safe.

So you are an ex biker eh ?, I like you even more now. :toast:

Yes, makes you 'grow up' doesn't it!
Same with two sons - I suddenly began to realise all the reasons my parents had worried so much!
Thankfully, they're both older and wiser now! ...in fact, one is a crash investigator, but not much more than 10-12 years ago, he suddenly bought a new bike: lime green but can't recall the make. Took me out on it and it was terrifying! Nothing like the solid heavy bikes I'd been used to ...every time he accelerated, it felt as though I would slide off the back any second!
He didn't have it very long.

We weren't without the odd tragedy though even then. There were two I knew.

So you are an ex biker eh ?, I like you even more now. :toast:
Nothing sounds, feels or smells like them! - sadly the roads 'back then' were much more user friendly

RM can be a real pain sometimes, but they've been great for me today - my last 2 tips arrived :D

To be honest I've tried some zero nic juices that I got as free sample bottles from a couple of vendors, they just don't seem to have much throat hit to me. I think that's part of the problem going down to zero nic. But I have heard people say that they found it easier with flavourless juice

Yay Ron, good to see you back mate :D We thought you'd deserted us. Glad to hear that work is still going well and I'm still mixing up a storm  You bought anything new recently mate ??

Just remember to watch out for those buses mate, I've heard bus drivers hate all vehicles that have less wheels than them

------------------------------------------

:offtopic: Well I've been a bus driver for over 4 years now and I've had my fare share of drunks, noisy kids, skanks and scallies, but in all that time I've never had a window smashed while driving a bus. Today, I crossed that one off the list too. Three little .....s on an estate decided to brick one of the nearside windows. Luckily, I only had one passenger on board and he had headphones on, so didn't even realise it had happened. To be honest, I just thought they'd egged the bus (happens a lot in school holidays), until I looked in the interior mirror and saw the glass smashed. On the plus side, had to take the bus back to the garage, so missed out on the last half an hour of my duty. Plus I had to spend an hour filling out forms and phoning the Police, so I got some overtime there too :D

Well I had to pay a little freight on a small order from FT. Just needed some Double O-Ring Drip Tips for my ΣΟΦΙΑ (needs DT that grip good and not slip to spin the ΣΟΦΙΑ to open the juice flow). I ordered 3 and an EGO ring (to make a lanyard) for a whopping $7.11 + $1.29 shipping for a total of $8.40 (could have done the slow boat for free with no tracking, but where is the fun if I can't track it). That's a record low for me, but didn't need anything else at the moment.

I keep looking around at all the stuff I have and Really don't see a need to order for a LONG time unless I see something Shinny that I want (but don't need). I have gotten to the point my sig below is in the positive, I am saving money, and have Tons of Stuff. Hard to believe all this stuff would be ashes and gone if I still smoked instead of vaped.
