I've still resisted any temptation to buy anything vape-related, although i do fancy a nice e-pipe. Some on epipemods look nice and it's my 40th coming up in a couple of months so perhaps! :)

I've just gone past my one year anniversary of cutting out the analogs
Congrats on the 1 year! Think you deserve the pipe for that achievement alone! :)

Given that we're a friendly lot perhaps we could add congrats to this?

Just a thought.:)
Good idea! Added my good wishes :)

Spent 2 hours today, making a custom switch for my Vmod. The original switch, sometimes pops out, which can be a pain. So I found the centre post of an old iClear30 would almost fit in the switch housing. Cut it down to the right length and ground it down a bit so it would fit perfectly. The I got a clear driptip that I don't use, which has a cup design and drilled it out so the iClear post would fit through it. Finally I had to drill out the iClear post, so that my old Vmod switch would fit inside it. Everything went together perfectly. Glued all the bits together and left it to set. Went to put my hybrid switch in the Vmod, dropped it on the kitchen floor, the whole bloody thing broke. So that's 2 hours of my life wasted  Ended up putting a small amount of glue on the Vmod switch to hold it in place (after separating it from the broken bits). Should have just done this in the first place

Dozy git.

Well that explains it then Ian  I have been twisting it into a rope, getting it as thick as it would allow before threading it. Ah well more playing about with it tomorrow. :p

You just need to sort of pat the fibres together, if that makes sense. I think it wicks so well because the fibres are straight, rather than random the way they are in cotton. Just stick with it mate, I've got HUGE confidence in your coiling skills

I'll pop by and say "howdy"

Hope the apricot 'blossoms':)
OK, I won't worry!

The stuff I got from AIV was fairly muted at first, but a few weeks later it started to come good. If it's still mild, I'll just add a bit of orange for fruitiness and cinnamon for spicyness ;)

Glad you're not worried

I will stick with it mate, i don`t give in that easy. :D So when i have threaded the wick, is it ok to twist the tails slightly for wicking purposes ?? What i mean by that is - getting the tails to sit on the juice channels.

I wouldn't do mate, keep them nice and fluffy. If you need to get them to sit on the channels, a bit of spit or some liquid does the trick great. Then ease the tails into place with a needle. Once their wet, they'll stick to the sides of the deck pretty easily. The rayon doesn't seem to untwist, the way cotton does when it's wet :)

You sound just like me mate with the clumsiness, i am also known to have the odd blonde moment now and then.

Natural blonde

Just wish it would have broken during the drilling/grinding/cutting stage - would have saved me an hour or more

So the British Army now have to get their kit made out of your belly button fluff? I know that Gordon Brown under-equipped our troops - but this is madness! :)

Have you seen the size of our new big boat? Think they've called it "Libby". :)

Okay the rocket which i have been vaping SD&C in really gunked up last night, so today i gave it a good clean. One thing i noticed is this... When i went to pull the wick out, it had completely burnt through the centre where the coil sits. Hmmm. So i put a new rayon wick in after dry burning, and it is fine again now.

On to the next kayfun with the RY in, exactly the same thing, the wick was burnt in half. No wonder the vape went so bloody harsh, and i was blaming the coil. Absolutely nothing to do with the ohm`s at all. Again, i dry burned and replaced the wick and it is vaping beautifully again. I will see how i get on now with the rayon, but if it continues to burn wicks in half i will stop using it.

Maybe it is because it is based on wood pulp ( paper ) basically, but one thing i do know, this never happened when using cotton. Just a heads up to anyone either using it now, or are considering using it. :)

Oh i nearly forgot :p VAPEMAIL today, got my Tree of life mod, and swirly tips. I will be playing with them later. :D

Throw your rayon and cotton balls on the burn pile. As someone that took nearly a month to get a good KFL build I can tell you that the cotton pads are the way to go, after weeks of trial and error the pads are like a god send. Amazon sells a generic for under $8 shipped and they are awesome.

That's a good price for 130ml Bob. A few US companies seem to have Independence Day offers on at the moment - pity I don't need anything at the moment

Their normal pricing is not too bad either and now free shipping over $35, and they have some nice flavours, I was running out of 3 so thought I may as well get the ID discount.

Saw it on the news yesterday, it's mahoosive, shame the planes won't be ready for another 4 years or so...
