I don`t think you understood what i mean`t mate. I have already got the nemmy kicked, so we can forget about that. I have got a ring for the chi, so i know that will be ok, and the atom scopes so that will be fine. What i am after, like you say is some spare kick rings for my bagua etc. So yes Ian if you have got any spare, i will take them mate to see if i can get any of my other tubes kicked.

Burnie, i just had a thought. If the mod you are ordering is wood on the inside of the tube, a kick won`t work as it has to make contact with metal.

I've got some spare tube sections for a few different mods. Definitely got one for the poldiac, probably a few of the others too. Have you tried the kick ring from the chi on the bagua mate ?? If you can tell me how tall the kick is, I can dig out and measure any tubes I find, see if they might be suitable. Thinking about it, I've got the brushed brass 18500 tube for the Caravela - would that work with an 18350 and kick ?? If so, you can definitely have that one mate.

On the kick, I was looking at one that is the same but VV instead of VW, but either would work. Was just wondering if they worked good, the price is good.

I never liked the French until I went down to the South, up north they didn't seem to appreciate my attempts at speaking some French, and always appeared aloof, but down South they were warm and didn't mind my poor attempts at speaking a few words in French.

Yes they are very good, and as you say there is no wires in a mech. What i mean`t about inside the tube is, It has got to be some sort of metal sleeve, because the kick has a little brass spring loaded nipple on the edge of it`s deck, and that has to make contact with metal. If it was just touching plain wood it wouldn`t work.

If you remember I got my bagua on a co-op buy on here, it's totally different threading from the ones on FT.

A few people have said the same to me, that the French seem friendlier further south. We went in one shop in Paris and I asked for 2 packets of Bensons in my best French, the guy slammed them on the counter, gave me a dirty look and just held out his hand for the money. I told him where he could stick his cigs, not sure if he understood or not

Thanks for the info. It is still ships in 7 days, and has been for a week, and I only order in stock/ships next day, but I might try it anyway if shipping time comes down. Have seen another on another site I might order, but they don't carry kicks. Don't really need it, was just one of them want it things, I like the wood mods for some reason. It most likely has a metal tube on the inside like the X-Gun as the wood is really thin and would most likely break if it didn't, but it is impossible to tell in the pictures.
