I'm gonna pop off now anyway, starting to yawn.
So night all.
So night all.
Yes i know it will bob, thing is - until i have stopped the pain myself, no one is going near it mate. I would probaly end up smacking them.
But if it is an abscess, they can be really bad, I had one once when I was in Germany on holiday, I was in Dresden and went to a local dentist, who gave me something for the pain, but didn't notice what was the cause, wasn't until 2 days later when I was in Leipzig, and I was in so much pain that I went to the hospital that they found the cause, removed the tooth and treated the abscess there and then, told me I had to see my own dentist when I got back for a check up, and everything was okay.
Nooo, not if you have got a pair of them mate.
Thats what i love about the four stroke v twins mate, they do sound awesome.![]()
I remember when the first Yamahas came over from Japan, they sounded awful, so tinny against the sound of a decent British bike.
Variations of BP in each arm is always indication of something amiss!Ian & Trish, funny story about low blood pressure, just before I had my TIA about 10 years ago, I was having problems with carrying anything heavy with my left arm, the doctor I was under used to have fun with the trainee nurses up at Kings College Hospital, used to get them to take my BP, so I always offered my left arm, very low BP, so he then told them to try again with my right arm, normal BP. They could never work out why I had the difference, it turned out it was a narrowed artery, which they opened up later on, think that might have been a warning for the TIA.
PS got an appointment in the morning re my Angina which has been playing up recently (having to use the GTN spray almost as soon as I leave the house to go anywhere).
Terry, if you're anything like me with dentists ...I don't believe you!I know what you are saying bob, and thanks for your thoughts, mate. I will get it checked out. The pain has really started easing over the last couple of days, so hopefully it is coming to and end now, and i will get it looked at " i promise "![]()

They did indeed! I well remember the first 'interloper' ...even looked odd amongst the beautiful black, chrome, blue, burgundy & grey.I remember when the first Yamahas came over from Japan, they sounded awful, so tinny against the sound of a decent British bike.
They still sound wonderful ..the smell alone is like stepping back 45-50 years! How things change eh bob.I used to love the sound of the old british classics, like the bonnerville`s. Sadly, they were before my time to ride though. I am guessing you would have to pay a pretty penny for a decent one now.

the Bonneville's, Thunderbirds, Goldstar, Rocket ....all pricy - take a look at some sale results from the likes of Bonham's when they have a specialist classic sale! Or even some sale results from the past year or so.
Then, if ever you see one for sale at a silly price, you'll know to grab it![]()

If in doubt, ask at a pharmacy.
If it's something like a simple bacterial infection under the tooth, then mouthwash and clove oil application would likely see it sorted.
The sensible thing is to see a dentist - but some of us prefer to hope it just goes away![]()
I have a bottle of clove oil in my painting materials: If a palette is stored in a closed or covered box and a cotton ball with a few drops of clove oil is inside the box too, the vapour will keep the oil paint fresh and prevent it from drying out!
There's some very useful stuff kicking about in our homes - just a case of knowing what these things can do!![]()
Why thankyou Trish, you also are lovely. They're silly prices! Sticking with what you have is no hardship! Your bike is lovely!![]()

Not too bad all round then! Pity you need to get anything done, but at least it's not terribly invasiveECG at rest was normal, but they are setting me up for an Ultrasound, and another Angiogram, seeing as it is 10 years since my Angioplast, seems they have progressed in the last 10 years as well as she said they may be able to open up the occluded artery that they failed to last time, she was also pleased that I had finally given up smoking, seems she was in on my Angioplast 10 years ago. Got to wait about a month for the appointments but that's not too bad for the NHS.
