Ah! I'm finding that with H1N1 and the Got Cookie too. Sometimes, I'm OK with it too if they're good enough! :)

The CV Jamaican ginger gunked mine up in a matter of hours!

Yep, I know if it carries on at this rate, i will be asking my mate for some more rayon sooner rather than later. :D

IIRC
Kanger is going to two holes on their V3 (or is it 4 now) of the Protank 3 coils.
Not sure what's happening - I have two packs of these coils, both sold as V2 and suitable for the PT2, 3 Aerotank, Evod 2, etc. and also the ones linked to gor use in the MOW.
Both are in identical packets but one is 2.0ohm, the other 1.5. The 1.5 are from fasttech and have two small holes, the other pack has the single slot, is 2.0ohm and from a UK supplier.

I'll take more notice of how each performs.

I think you'll find the new ones have 2 slots one either side as those are the ones that came with my 2*Aerotank Mega, Aerotank Mini, v2 Aerotank and the 2*Kanger MOW, whereas I only bought one v1 Aerotank (the one with the old style air flow controller, which I have now replaced with the newer one), and only have 1 spare with the 2 small holes either side.

I think there is a lot of confusion between Kanger 2 coils and Aerotank v1 and v2 coils, the Kanger 2 are the old dual coil where the wick actually sticks out the side and doesn't have a cover over the wick, which are good for the PT2, Evod, Unitank etc, but only if you use the original base and not the air flow controller base.

Here is a picture of all 3 the Kanger 2 on the left and the Aerotank v2 on the right, hope that helps

Yes, it's the one in the middle and the one on the right that I've been talking about. The sites call it the upgraded coil or V2. The tanks I have that use them are the MOW's and my mini Aerotank.

I just saw a new Aspire tank:
Aspire K1 Glassomizer 1 piece pack [8282] - $14.00 : Aspire online shopping

The best I'm using at the moment is a standard Evod single coil tank on a spinner ll! My mini PT2 is working well too.
They're working better than the PT2, mini Nautilus and the MOW are at the moment!

The only one I have been having problems with so far is the KF Mini after I fill it, but I have it on the IPV so all I do is lay it down on it's side with the airhole uppermost, and after a few hours that seems to fix the problem, not had any noise problem yet, "touches head", but I suppose I will have sooner or later.

Thought I'd mentioned that everything arrived yesterday, it had a slight dink in the silver cover, but I already have a Burelwood cone & cover on it's way from Vapage to replace it anyway, it was just the mod and spare bottle, no attys, so put the Vapage atty I had on it and some Strix Hazelnut Cookie in it, works fine, but having to remember to squonk a bit more because it's not the carto in it.

Just seen you've gone to bed, so Nighty Nite

Most of my Kayfuns do gurgle and pop a bit now, but to be honest that's more due to using Rayon as a wick and running high watts.

If you need any other Vmod related items Bob, they've got a huge sale on now. I know I said I wasn't going to order anything, but I'm easily led  Just picked up a Vmod XL and 4 of the AMG attys - including postage charge, just over $80. It normally costs more than that just for the Vmod on it's own before postage :D

Says if high VG is needed to add a note to the order. Is anything else of theirs very good? :)

It's difficult sometimes to justify the age you are with how you feel inside ....the past 12 days though have made me feel older than I am! I'm obviously not sleeping as well as I think because I can't move much without going dizzy.

Exactly how I felt ...stupid role playing and answering silly questions or listening to some boring person drone on about purchasing procedure and stock controls ...Zzzzzzzzzzz  ...and all the while, me knowing my desk would be piling up with work and messages!
I could never go back to that world!

All the AIV juices are lovely Trisha, they've got a massive following - almost as big as NT. But to be honest, they are all a bit on the muted side for me - but I do like heavily flavoured juices. I order mainly the fruit type juices and they were all good, plus they have quirky names like Bandersnatch

Lack of sleep always makes things worse, I feel you're pain there Trisha.

The training day was nice and easy. Five of us in the classroom, all good mates from work, so we had a good laugh taking the mickey out of each other. Most of the day was spent watching short videos, analysing the mistakes made and deciding how we would do things better - this mainly meant cutting up the cyclists, mowing down the pedestrians and battering the fare dodgers  Don't think the guy running the course appreciated our answers, but we had a good laugh

Ian, one thing the eXpromiser has over the KF is if something goes wrong with the coil, the coil went on my 1st KFL last night after about a week, still some juice left in it, so ended up wasting it to get to the coil, as there is no easy way to empty the tank, whereas with the eXpromiser just turn it upside down because like a Nautilus or Kanger the Chimney is in the top part so holds the juice in and no need to empty the tank, less messy as well.

EDIT: Don't know if they clone them yet, but at least the original is cheaper than original KFLs, there was a couple for sale in the classies yesterday, think it was on POTV for £40 each

Does sound nice and easy to service Bob. Having said that, my coils are always perfect, so I never need to fiddle with them :p:laugh:

Seriously though, it does sound similar to the Taifun in that respect. Glad you're liking it though mate.

I'm not hugely keen on the looks of the maraxus but the panzer looks ok.

It's not fully copper and doesn't have a recessed button but this one looks sweet:

$27.26 Stingray X Style Stainless Steel + Copper Mechanical Mod - 18350 / 18500 / 18650 at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

The Stingray mods do need the switches cleaning up a bit when you first get them Adam. Just take them apart, give them a good clean, put back together and their generally fine.

If you fancy a really good telescopic mod, with an easy to use locking ring and it's one of the shortest tube mods out there, have a look at the Astro clones on FT. I've got a few of them - cracking mod, very comfortable to use.

Yep, I know if it carries on at this rate, i will be asking my mate for some more rayon sooner rather than later. :D

I don't know if I can spare any Terry - I've only got about 493 feet left now :p:laugh:

Does it last any longer than the silica - or about the same?

The rayon should last a lot longer than the silica. Silica absorbs the juice internally, so after a while it becomes stained and clogged up. Whereas, rayon carries the juice along the fibres, so it doesn't get stained. I've taken a rayon wick out of a Kayfun, that's had about 20mls of very dark juice through it, rinsed the rayon under the tap and it looks as good as the day I first installed it :)

I placed an order for an RDA clone, I'm not sure I'd order from them again, I have a real hard time waiting for items, and with Fastech, it is certainly a wait.

You're lucky. Us poor souls in the UK have to wait a lot longer for our FT orders than our lucky cousins across the pond

Seriously though, you do need a lot of patience with FT.

I like plenty of flavour too, and I think all VG needs a bit more anyway. Had another company recommended for Vg today: The Vape Kitchen. I'll have to t ake a closer look at both when I get some more time! :)

Yes, it's not good. Trouble is, I'll be getting less for the rest of this month and perhaps longer - the gallery wants the paintings a couple of weeks before I was thinking of sending them! that's a lot of work to get done and I'm not sure I'll do it! I feel weary just thinking about it! :(

Why are the course instructors/whatever always so darn po faced!

I see! Sounds good! Will you have time to do a few of those old coils for me soon so I can try it? No mad rush, but I'd like to see what it's like :)

A lot longer trish, it is the coils getting gunked up not the wick. Have to replace the wick to dry burn the coil.:)
Oh yes! I forget some of these things! Sometimes it all seems a bit faffy!

Be careful, I think that is the new Aspire BVC coil and NOT the Nautilus BVC in that one - Aspire are now trying to confuse us as well
Another new one? they just had a new one! I thought the coil looked a little bit dumpier or wider?
..I did also see that they're bringing out an adapter of some sort to make a BDC tank take a BVC. I saw where someone tested it.

I get a tad fed up of stuff coming out here and then something else appearing within a couple of weeks!

Not heard of the Vape Kitchen, but it's always good to have options for the future.

You'd better stay off here for a while then Trisha and get some serious painting done :p:laugh:

The instructor we had isn't too bad, he did have a laugh with us - he's an ex bus driver, so he laughed along most of the time

You're coils are right at the top of my to do list now. I'll be slowing down on the overtime now, car insurance is almost sorted, so I'll have a bit more spare time soon :D
