Glad she is doing better. :)

She's a lot better thanks mate. She went to Physio today, the crutches are now gone and she's just got a single stick. Not bad going, considering she's still got the stitches and staples in place :)

Where did you get the mephisto from mate? Got one on the way from FT, at about 9 dollars I couldn't help myself.

I'm also a fan of hannibal. Read all the books and seen all the films and TV series so far. My other half doesn't understand how I enjoy something so gruesome haha

Got it from FT too Adam. The one with a brass AFC ring, looks great on the Panzer :D

I'm the same, read all the books, watched all the original films. The series has been great so far. Whoever thought up some of those story lines must be pretty sick in the head  I do love shows like that though, that are intelligently written as well as shocking. Reminds me of "American Psycho" - I read the book a few years back, the first 100 or so pages were really slow, but once the murders started, I was hooked. It's probably the only book I've ever had to put down and walk away from for a break cos it knocked me sick in places. Pretty sure it got banned at one point.

 It's my Vapeaversy

My last cig was Sept 18th 2013

:toast: Here's to Another Year :toast:

Your coils are ready Trisha

I've been busy, since I got home from work.

Had to throw a couple of the heads away Trisha, cos the insulators had burned out on the 510 connectors. But I've managed to do about 14 heads for you. Some in silica, some in cotton and some in rayon. Various resistances, optimized to the wicking material, but all around the 1.7 - 2.2 ohm range.

------------------------------------------------

Terry

Got your tubes organised, just need to cut some more Rayon for you :D

--------------------------------------------------

Bob

I've dug out 4 of the Vmod cartos for you - one has been used for about 2 minutes, the other 3 are brand new. I can also send you some bottles too if you need any. I've got loads for the Vmod 2.0 and the Vmod XL - take your pick mate :D

If you can send me a PM with your address, I'll get them packaged up for you mate.

------------------------------------------------------

Told you, I'd been busy

The thing I like about the Mephisto are the massive air slits, really easy to adjust too :)

The book may be banned, I'm not sure to be honest. A friend of mine, got it in America and passed it on to me - was about 15 years ago when I read it though. The first bit is a bit boring - pages of his daily shower routine and what clothes he buys, then all of a sudden, there's the first murder - comes as a bit of a surprise. It really is the most twisted book I've ever read  The film really couldn't do the book justice.

Keep at it trish, some good experiments going on there.:) The coffee and cream is really lovely trish, best coffee vape i have ever had. I just did my dripper and tried the lemon bar, and guess what ? Another bloody nice one, just like lemon drizzle cake and georgeous on flavour. Will be getting a lot of this one.:D
Using a second tank of the Long Shift with approx. 25% being a mix of Lews Brew/ABC. Lovely! The Long Shift is the main player obviously, but the plain coffee gives it a brilliant edge, with the small amount of ABC giving that little bit of extra vanilla. Initial taste is that sort of malt & hops mellow flavour, not a particular tobacco flavour to be honest. Altogether, it's a lovely warm, smooth and comforting taste with even a hint of fresh almonds as an aftertaste - think I've just about got near enough to the one I was trying to get close to! Was using a 2.0ohm coil in a MOW at around 4v on a Spinner ll.
I reckon a 30ml of Long Shift is on my CV shopping list now!

So - the Lemon Bar is different enough to the drizzle cake?
As for the coffee/cream ..have you tried Lews Brew or Caramel Cappuccino? Just wondering if wither of those would be the same with a Sweet Cream liquid added.

Whoopee! I honestly didn't expect you to do those yet as you've been dealing with a lot! Thank you! :)
No problem re the burnt out ones!
How will I know what ohm I'm using etc.?

I didn't want you setting Terry on me, he's got a vicious bite :laugh:

All the heads are in a safe usable range Trisha, so it won't really matter if you use one over another :) You can test them on the MVP to check the resistance if you need to. It's probably a good idea to check them before you use them if you can, you know what RM are like for throwing things around. They all worked when I built them.

I've built them all with micro-coils, so they should last a while. The couple I had to throw away were totally unusable. I've labelled the bags up too, so you know what wick your using :)

Trisha, if you walked into a good bakery and bought one of thier lemon drizzle cakes, that is what the lemon bar is...Truely delicious. :D I still have about 20 ml of lews brew at my side, but not touched it since i discovered the coffee and cream.:) As for the caramel cappuccino, i did try that a while back but found it a tad lacking.:(

Sounds lovely that one mate.

I've cut a piece long enough to last a while Terry. Only problem is the box doesn't seem to be going down  Think I'd better start a hairdressers, it's the only way I'll use it all up in this lifetime

Cheers mate. The lemon bar is, dare i say, as good as or better than the LMP ian, it is really tasty. You remember the jamaican ginger cake, how it was more cake than ginger ? well the lemon bar is just as cakey, but full of lemon "beautiful" :)

If you can send me a couple of empty bottles i will get some to you to try.

Night mate.

It just amazes me how well we're all doing. If someone had told me a couple of years ago that I'd soon start vaping and I'd give up the cigs, I would have slapped them
Definitely ...I honestly thought it impossible for me!

I didn't want you setting Terry on me, he's got a vicious bite :laugh:
He bites? Oh dear! No, we'll keep him calm and sweet!
....wouldn't dream of setting anything or anybody on you anyway! :)

I forgot about the ohm checker on the MVP's! Thanks for labelling them - doubt I'd know the difference, especially when they first arrive!
I have a couple of real gunkers, so I'll only use those on the ready made ones. Yours are far more valuable!

May be too sweet for me - my Dad used to make me a cake every week, and when he brought the lemon drizzle, I liked the lemon ice frosting and thin rind on the top better than the rest of it!
As for the coffee, I'll definitely have to try the MBV then!

I saw some new flavours on the Perfumers Apprentice site ...there's a ginger ale one! :) I could do with finding a ginger ready made one and I could add it to the Jamaican ..that way, it may not gunk the coils up so quickly.
Coil gunking must be one of those 'depends how much you like it' things ...I use the Got Cookie/ABC and Mint Choc Vapetto all the time, and I'm lucky to get 3 good tasting days out of a coil :) ....Haven't used the Jamaican much since I realised how gunky it was! Think I need to try it again ..it'll be amazingly well steeped by now!

By the way - anything to come close to Frenilla that I can get in VG? ...just wondered if you've found anything similar.
