I just think eGo type attys look silly on top of bigger mods - suppose it's just an OCD thing
OK :) I do care what colour they are sometimes, but don't much care about how big/small they are as long as what's in them tastes good and it doesn't leak!

I get those flavours it's just that the bc is a bit overpowering, and I have it in an Aspire Nova with 1.8 Aspire bdc head at 3.6v (vv only mod)
Have you ever tried the Aspire ET-S ? ...or a mini Genitank?

I'm glad they sent me the 30ml bottle of Do'nut, as that really is a nice - definitely another to add to the ADV list
Definitely! Do you find the custard in it seems a bit richer than the ABC?

On another note I don't think I will be doing any more business with Strix Elixirs - ordered 19/10 they then went to a vape Convention in Phoenix and all orders were just left until their return 27/10 - they finally got round to shipping mine late last night Texas time - no communication apart from the order receipt and shipping info, although their site did say what the problem was and that they would upgrade the shipping - not really a good way to run a business and I am not a happy bunny.
Not good! Nicoticket are on a 4 day weekend at the moment, but they gave plenty of warning and even did a 2 hour lunchtime 10% off the day before they went, and fulfilled the orders before closing time.
I didn't order anything as I have plenty of NT - most of them I can only use at 15-20% per tank of a VG one such as Confusion anyway, so they last me a long time.
I haven't even tried all the Strix ones I got yet.

I've seen two sites that seem worthy of at least one order: Highbrow and The Vaporbar Store.
Highbrow do of course do VG, and they have a few nice sounding ones such as the caramel cake, chocolate cake and orange & lemon ones, plus a few coffee ones too ..they also do a coffee that you may like Bob: Coffee Hazelnut Bavarian Cream.
The The Vapor Bar | Premium Forever E-Liquid, Lab Tested E-Liquid not only do some nice sounding ones, they have tested everything for diketones and anything with more than a tiny bit is being reformulated. Many are marked as totally free too. They've also got a range of custards that have been reformulated without diketones. They say they'll do them in VG too - only problem is they come in 30ml bottles.

Did I see quoted somewhere that there's 4000 chemicals/poisons/heavy metals in them? Certainly something like that! I think it's an ammonia type substance that gives the brain a bigger hit of nicotine and makes it send messages that it needs more. I tell you, my neurons or whatever doodahs they are, are barely firing at all some days when it comes to work discipline!
..and they talk about legislation for e-cigs! ? that in itself is a mockery considering all they've allowed to happen with tobacco! Who regulated and tested that?

I heard about 3000, so it honestly wouldn't surprise me if it's more like 4000. Who knows it could be even more :( At the end of the day, it's all about money. The powers that be are just worried about not getting their slice of the pie - either through tax on ciggies, or lack of tax on e-cigs. Plus we're not allowed to do something we enjoy. God forbid, we should actually enjoy our longer lives

It was - one of those memorable unexpected moments - new dawn of a new year. Nice.

Sounds lovely Trisha :D

Some days I feel I've dragged that milestone all the way  Not because I want cigarettes either - but because I've found some aspects of it very difficult to cope with.
If it hadn't been for all the information and help at this forum I'd have probably had to give up on it due to not being able to use what I had.

Still, it's nice to see it reaching that figure ...and our 'Classy Lady' even 'liked' it too!

However you get there it's still a huge milestone. We're all here to help, even if sometimes we're no help at all :p:laugh:

Thats exactly what i was thinking ian, i mean do you reckon it is even possible to enjoy at such high watts ? Still working on the millionaire bit. :p

I guess if you're using a dripper with high VG/low nic/no lung inhales and you just want clouds and flavour then you could still enjoy it. Or a coil with a huge diameter that a mech wouldn't even fire. Then massive watts are important :D Just remember your good friends on here, when you get there mate ;)

...hope you're gettin' a wash first!

Ooh no, I wouldn't touch them I the first place, no need for a scrub

Yes, i was going to say good morning Ian, but you can sod off now ! Night mate.

You can say good afternoon to me today then

8-o Bit ambitious that trish  Night.

Not enough time for my long bath mate

I've had those problems as well, you may have noticed I keep having to alter mine, and I'm sure I have less in it than you

It's just me being greedy Bob. It should act as a reminder that I can stop spending, somehow, it never seems to work though

That's a bit naughty Bob, leaving it that long :( It's a good job, they aren't F1 fans, or you would have had to wait until after this weekends USA Grand Prix in Texas as well

@ Trisha, I think your mpv would benefit from an adapter

then you'll probably find that all your toppers fire, I read about

the problem with the centre contact before I bought mine

and I've had an ego/ego-510 adapter on from new

Before you bin your leaky toppers try pushing a piece of twisted kitchen roll

from the mouthpiece end to the top of the chimney and upend the topper

so it sits mouthpiece down for a couple of minutes, I've found that most of what

I thought was leaking was actually just condensation, it may work for you

I should add that all my toppers take the same single coil atty

as pt2, mpt2, evod etc

Some good tips there mate

Didn't know such an adapter was available! Thanks :)
I like to move a tank to anything available when I'm charging another, so that'll be useful.

I suppose that means the liquid will soak into the kitchen paper to a degree ..still, worth a try :)

I should add that all my toppers take the same single coil atty
as pt2, mpt2, evod etc
I do have some standard Evod's that are rarely any trouble and three mPT2's. The PT's do work but can be temperamental with the gurgling/leaking.

Still nice to know there's another few brains to hand to help mine along when it comes to working things out! :)

Just the being there would be enough for me! ...they hand you money don't they ...and you can't wash while you're driving - I'm going to make you paranoid now and you'll go to work with a full face visor and surgical gloves on!

Some good tips there mate
Yes! I'm going to find one of the adapters and will try the tank thing later bolt smilie.gif

Just be aware that the ones they have on fasttech at the moment are 510/ego-510

and although they will still work the connection to your mpv will be by the 510 thread

so not as sturdy and doesn't look as good

Have you ever tried the Aspire ET-S ? ...or a mini Genitank?

I have a Genitank Mega, but will not be getting any more eGo threaded atties, think I will be sticking to proper rebuildable ones and what I already have in the clearo type, might get some more Mini Aspires if I need to, unless something better comes on the market of course.

Definitely! Do you find the custard in it seems a bit richer than the ABC?

Could be the do'nut that's doing that, it definitely tastes better than the ABC on it's own

I've had a quick look at those 2 and have bookmarked them for future use, although not sure about the Vapor Bar only doing 30ml - seems a lot to be able to test them, I wish all vendors would produce 5ml test bottles maybe in a package of say 5 or 10 different flavours of your choice, that way you wouldn't waste much if you didn't like them.

That looks like one .....in piece of hardware there Bob

cant make my mind up if you would need a degree in physics

or origami to coil it up though :D

Yes it does look nice, I think it looks better with the metal sleeve on it rather than the glass one as in Burnie's picture.

Doesn't look any harder than any other RDA to coil & wick once you get into rebuilding, what was stopping me in the past was my age related long-sightedness, once I got my jewellers loupe and could see close up properly it all fell into place.

Nice, let us know if it leaks much. Rip Trippers loved the authentic but said it leaked like a **** haha

It'll be a while before I get round to using it, but Burnie might be able to tell you as he has his on the go, talking of Rip, he has his own site up and running now RiPTrippers, and he's going to be doing giveaways (don't know if it includes us on 'tother side of the pond though)

Yep that's it, except mine came with 2 glass and the metal one.

No harder than any other that size, the ones that are a PITA are the smaller ones.

No leaks so far. I put about 25 drops out of a needle bottle and it was still below the top of the air plugs. After sitting all night, still not even a little leaking.

They had two test packs available for the custard range when I looked a week or so ago, but I don't see them now. Unlikely they'd have wanted to supply them in VG anyway. I do like the sound of two or three of theirs though.

Apparently Highbrow aren't bad at all -again there's a few I may try, including the cake! :)

Didn't say they were no good, just that they are not for me, the Genitank range is very similar to the Aerotank ones and I think you have a mini Aerotank, the Genitanks just have a better air flow adjuster.

EDIT: and yes meant the Mini Aspire Nautilus not Aspires [stoopid fingers]

Ah right! Yes, I do have a mini Aerotank - I'll try that first!

No problem - thought that's what you meant. I do like the two I'm using, and have a spare new one too :)

Trisha ! That is the sort of adaptor i said i would send you if you got the DNA30 .Though i think one would look silly on an MVP, as it has already got a 510/ego connection

EDIT Ignore that trish, i`ve just seen that it is the ego/ego you want and not the ego/510 :)
