Sounds likely as the squape reloaded clones on FT went down and one went back up as logoless. Not great reviews anyway.

My SS nemesis and plume veil clones were from M vapes.

I was in on the AAEC group buy for the Squape - luckily things are being fixed - it leaked because the glass had been glued in instead of having the 2 o-rings in to hold the glass in place and stop the liquid escaping, also they only sent the standard deck, that was just before their last holiday which was a week long thing, they sent replacement top covers with the correctly fitted tanks and the missing 2 decks, but the chimney didn't fit (checked by the organiser of the buy) so he contacted them again and they have now sent out the chimneys to fit. They are now being sent out from the organiser to us to replace the faulty ones, so should be able to use mine by the end of the week if RM pulls it's finger out.

Did you see the info on the wall charger supplied with some iSticks? It's in the iStick thread on the UK section.
I got one of them with my black iStick from MyEpack. Yellow Box with 'charger' written on the side. It's model JD 050-050
It's going into the bin.

I don't think anyone apart from me here got an iStick from myEpack, but not sure who else may be supplying them.

Had one of those in 9mm,probably the most accurate, trouble free pistol i owned.

Anyway, good afternoon ALL.

Afternoon george, we all better be real nice to you i think.

the ones that came with a charger, were EU 2-pin type and the last came with an adaptor which I binned because it looked dodgy, I have a 6 port charging block so only use that, and for abroad I have my own well made chargers and adaptors, to be honest I think all they need to supply is the USB-A to MicroUSB-B lead, they always come in handy in case an old one goes bad.

Looks like they were recalled in August! Would be nice if suppliers kept up to date with things that need to be safe to use.

Sources: Martyn Parker on YouTube, POTV forum and recalldatabase.co.uk (recall was posted 1st August 2014)

What's the 8 port charging block that's good for various cig batteries Bob? I'm sick of having a 'vipers nest' of plugs and usb's in a heap!
I've seen cig batteries advise various power levels for these wall plugs - never quite sure which to use unless it's a manufacturers branded one.
The best for supplying branded reliable ones are the small cig size suppliers.

Sorry it is 6 port not 8, I got it from MobileFun but they don't have it any more, but it is here at the same normal price (I got it with £15 discount): Olixar 6 USB Smart IC Charger - 10 Amps / 50W

It's good for anything that uses a USB-A to USB-B (Micro) lead, the type all new phones and the iStick use, the main thing with chargers is that they they do not supply less than the mA required by the things that they are charging, and that they do not supply more than what is required on each outlet, most decent chargers have a circuit inside which regulates this.

(I got parma violets both times)

Why not ? You normally do !

:laugh::laugh::laugh:

We were just waiting to say good evening to you!

Yes, the thought used to cross my mind at times ....still, seeing he had half it's bit's in boxes, it would be unlikely!
Someone once turned on a pipe roller though when he was working at a steelworks! almost lost him that day!

I'll try it with less cream then! :)

Sadly I missed the exchange of greetings Trisha

With Health & Safety these days, you'd have to have a cover over the switch for the pipe roller, one person guarding the switch, someone else guarding the pipe roller and six men in hi-vis jackets checking the guarding is being done correctly

Bothe ways are nice, I just prefer a bit more coffee in my mix than Terry does.

Ian, looks like your FT order will now beat mine by possibly 2 days, for some reason both my parcels failed the security scan at China Post and have had to be repackaged, and have been shipped again today with new numbers (wondered why tracking was not showing anything).

I'm gonna win the race  Not counting my chickens just yet though mate.

Hey Bob have you seen that M vapes have been in a spot of bother with payment systems owing to selling clones and now he seems to be renaming all of the stuff on the website and not showing the logos. Shame that as so many bigger websites do sell clones and stuff and must have found a way round it.

Adam, I think maybe some websites could have been a bit miffed if they'd been undercut by M vapes too. I've had experience of this when I had my own shop, managed to get a contract for selling genuine Playboy nightwear and underwear. The "boutique" shop in the same town wasn't too happy about me selling for less than him and persuaded the Playboy rep to stop supplying me. Wouldn't mind, I was making a healthy 200% mark up on the products. But the greedy "boutique" owner was making a 500% mark up

I've got a Stingray that M Vapes reworked, looks great too :D

I'll be honest, the only batteries that I charge at the wall socket are the ones that go in my mods. When I had small ego style batteries, I would always charge them through the USB socket on the laptop. Small trickle charge, less likely for things to go wrong :)

Afternoon george, we all better be real nice to you i think.

Think I'd better get a gun then Terry, probably work wonders with the passengers

Part way through my mixing marathon today, I made a boob.

Should have checked I had enough ingredients before I started, but no not me

I always mix the same way:

Label all my bottles first.
Add the nic solution to each bottle.
Add the PG/VG to each bottle.
Finish off with the flavourings in each bottle.
Shake and leave to steep.

Got my bottles labelled up in a row and added the nic solution - used the full bottle from LT - 100ml. Added PG to each mix, then the VG which ran out on the last bottle (5ml short on that one). Started adding flavouring. First ran out of the orange that I use in Terry's Jungle Juice, then ran out of one of the flavours I use in Berry Blast

My full mixing session, should have given a half litre yield of juice, at the moment I've got 300ml finished :(

---------------------------------

So had to order some nic solution and VG from LT. Plus some flavourings from CV.

They're out of stock for 2-3 weeks. So I'll need to check back.
I've seen where cig batteries have exploded on phone chargers, so have always stayed clear of anything that charges them.

Last istick arrived this morning, you know Trish, the PINK one. It's bright.
It's bright, but it aint pink by my colour code. It would belong in with the violet/magenta tones on my colour chart.
I like dealing with Vandykevapes, there is always prezzies in the pack. This time some sweeties and a matching PINK drip tip.

Parma Violets! Don't think I'd like those now! LT used to send nice sweets, and so did Cloud9.

Sadly I missed the exchange of greetings Trisha

This was done, they turned the power off to the machine and hung a notice over the switch with a warning not to touch it ...some fool thought it had just been left there, so turned it on. Something similar happened to him when working on an overhead crane. He came down after finishing the job only to find it had been switched on, and he'd been crouched next to the live rail for well over an hour. Apparently the air turned blue!

Bothe ways are nice, I just prefer a bit more coffee in my mix than Terry does.
I use the Morning Americano Arabica double pods and add one small cream pot to a large beaker full. So, full flavoured with a just nice amount of cream is what I like ..so I'll try it with around 25% cream and see how that is.

The "boutique" shop in the same town wasn't too happy about me selling for less than him and persuaded the Playboy rep to stop supplying me. Wouldn't mind, I was making a healthy 200% mark up on the products. But the greedy "boutique" owner was making a 500% mark up
That sort of thing can get quite unpleasant.
I had a licensing agent and he sold a lot of my work for publishing. But I also painted more fine art things too, and his boss sold them around the galleries from a large van he had.
I was at Chelsea Art Fair one year with one of the publishers, and a gallery from Staffordshire asked to buy a few of my paintings ...when the owner of the licensing company found out, he threatened that gallery owner with no more paintings from him if he ever bought another from me.
No loss as it turned out - must have had anywhere up to 20 galleries approach me since, so never a problem for me, but he was not a nice man.
He also seriously threatened the agent I worked with when he moved a long way and set up his own company. Told him in no uncertain terms that he 'knew people'. This is supposedly a pillar of the upper classes ...yachting off the south coast, part of the 'old boy network' ;);)
Business is quite dirty at times.

I'll be honest, the only batteries that I charge at the wall socket are the ones that go in my mods. When I had small ego style batteries, I would always charge them through the USB socket on the laptop. Small trickle charge, less likely for things to go wrong :)
I tend to charge a lot of mine, including the MVPs, from the computer ..it never seems to falter. Two of the iSticks came with the matching white usb and wall plug in the same box, so I do trust those and charge them from the mains.

Think I'd better get a gun then Terry, probably work wonders with the passengers
Thought that crosses my mind every time I have to go into a supermarket! :(
As far as a huge percentage of the population is concerned, give me a nice dog any day!

Well at least both companies deliver things fast!
I was looking at some flavouring earlier and saw the Mom & Pop Yum described as rich marshmallow/whipped cream. The Flavour Art Vienna Cream seems good too ..I have that one in ready to use from the UK site and will try it soon. Possible either of those would mix well with fruits, chocolate or even the plain rich coffee ones!
I have the M&P Coffee & cream too, so will make a little bottle of that soon.
I tasted a drop of the Pchela's Poison I made into a bottle last week, and it's tasting very nice ..rich mocha type taste to it! I'll also make a bottle of the Lemon Bar now I have the flavouring.

I wasn't avoiding you honestly Trisha

I had something similar years ago. Used to install the ducting for air conditioning systems and we worked at Euro Disney in Paris in the months before it first opened. We were installing a system up in the roof space in one of the restaurants. Started to climb the ladder to get up in the workspace, just as I was about the lay my hand on the ducting, I heard "STOP". Apparently the Italian electricians had left a live cable touching the metal ducting that I was about to lay my hand on. No warning signs or anything like that, could have been a real shocker

Let us know how you get on with the coffee mix :)

One of the reasons why I got out of retail. Too much back stabbing, undercutting, dodgy dealing etc. People only looking out for no.1, it's not nice to see.

Yep, their both really quick on delivery, so it won't be long before I can finish off my e-juice masterpieces
I've got the FA Vienna cream myself, a little goes a long way with that one. I added a new flavouring to my order from CV too - Beach Fruit from the Rebranded range. It looked interesting, but not much in the description to be honest. I was going to get some Fluffy Nuts too, but there was no stock.

Well my two orchid V4 were shipped today, like the slug was supposed to be. Buggers have put it back till tomorrow. Ian, have yoy you seen the orchids mate, looks like they blow the kayfuns outta the water. Dual coil, with post holes, so you can use really thick wire. :toast:

Yeah I have mate. It was a toss up between the Orchid, the Rose v2 and the unpronounceable Bob tank. I could only afford 2 out of the 3 mate, so the Orchid is still in the wishlist at the moment. It's going to be the next one I get though :D

Did you get the dearer of the 2 slugs they've got ??

Back in work tomorrow, but for only 3 days, then I'm off next week :D The Wife has started her job list already
