First of all a big apology

My Wi-Fi went AWOL last night, so I wasn't doing a disappearing act, I just had to stop myself throwing the router out the window

Just watching a programme about it now Ian on nat geo ! :)

Stuff like that is fascinating mate - really makes you realise how insignificant we really are

Tell her if it's too long (more than 1 item ) she'll have to do them herself.

I have a plan Bob. She makes the list and says "how long will it take love ?"

Me, sharp intake of breath, "Oh at least 7 days, hunny bunny" - when in reality, I'll have my chores done in 2 days

Ian/Bob, Have either of you charged your IPV via the usb cable ?? I plugged mine in before, and all what seemed to happen was the watts just went up to 50 ! There was no indication of it actually charging !

Never used the USB mate, sorry can't help. I always take the batts out and recharge them. Never been a fan of charging up with USB ports to be honest.

No, the ruthlessness of people can be quite unpleasant to see ..and the richer that type are, the more dangerous!

How would you describe the Vienna Cream? - I have a few TPA cream ones, especially the ones with no Diketones.
I got the Cherry Delight from the Rebranded Range last week - smells of cherries, almonds and cream! I almost got the Café Mocha too! I'll try the Mom & Pop one first. There's so much that a good espresso or black coffee can be added to - must find one! It'll be great with custard/caramel, tobacco, chocolate.... :) Perhaps I should play around with adding some cream flavours to Lews Brew!

Yep, money does sometime breed contempt :(

I've not used the Vienna cream on its own Trisha. I've always used it as an addition to my DIY mixes. I think the highest I've mixed it at is 3%, that was in a strawberry cream mix. Used 15% Totally Wicked strawberry and 3% Vienna cream. Even at that level the Flavour Art Vienna Cream was very strong. Now I just use 0.5 - 1% in my mixes, so more of a background note.

As far as I am concerned and a few people on different forums have agreed with me.

1. Make sure you get a reputable charger:

For 18xxx type batteries that is XTAR or Intellicharger, don't know the XTAR but it does come highly recommended, the Intellicharger uses a normal figure of 8 connection lead, which is useful if you travel abroad, you only have to get a different lead.

For eGo style, the Wall Adaptor output should read at least 500mA and no more than 2A per USB-A outlet, and make sure you use the Charger cable or small Charger that came with the eGo or get one from a reputable e-cig vendor because that is what will control the amount of mA drawn from the Wall Adaptor, on those it should read Input 5v DC 500mA Output 4..2V DC 420mA, if you got any direct from China I would throw them and buy one from an e-cig vendor

2. A good twin USB Wall Adaptor is this one, This will output a Maximum of 2A on one outlet or 2 x 1A if both outlets are used.

3. Never leave them unattended whilst charging and remove them once fully charged, with 18xxx chargers if I am charging 4 batteries I will just pull them out as each one finishes it's charge.

I personally would only use the outlets on a full size desktop computer, not a laptop - but that's just me

Good advice there Bob.

I'm the same about leaving a charger unattended. If I leave the room even for 5 minutes, I switch off the charger. Plus I constantly check it to make sure the charger isn't getting too warm. When I do a charging session, my Nitecore will be running for most of the day - I usually charge up 8-10 batts at a time. Also, the charger is on a solid wooden floor, not carpet and well away from anything combustible. Might seem a bit OTT, but it's best to be safe than homeless :)

No it`s the 2 george. Like i said it is no real biggie as i will use my charger, which is what i prefer to do anyway. It`s just a bit annoying.

Terry, have you checked to make sure you've removed all the plastic coverings on the IPV. Mine last night, was being a bit hit and miss on the touch sensor. Then I realised that there was still a thin circular plastic cover on the switch - it's working fine now

Well decided to not wait on a China Company stocking the Billet Box Clone, so I ordered it off Flea Bay, Only $58.85 and it says it will ship today and I will have it Tuesday 18th. If I like it, I might get another, if FT at some point gets it in stock. My CC was starting to burn and needed use. :D

Bob, this one says it does take the 35mm carto's and goes from 2.4v to 5.0v, so I am thinking different than the youtube videos out there. Says it is "BILLET BOX Rev 2.1 Clone - 1:1 Clone - Black/Grey", but I'll see when I get it.

Here is part of what it lists,
2.4 to 5.0V volt variable output
Punched 510 cartomizer, 3 ohm,35mm
Max 20W

Vape On

TBH Ian i have left them on, just to prevent scratches, i tried using the sensor button but prefer the nice clickiness of the button. :D

There is a post on another forum about the IPV'S Terry(potv)
Liberty flights have recalled all they have sold.

Well i am at least glad i didn`t get the 3 george, i bet there are plenty of P**sed off people out there right now :?:
