I'd still be throwing up, in fact I nearly did when I read it

I HATE slugs, they're the devils' work
Yes, they are - it was of course a typical lettuce slug: Little fat pinkish grey thing ...but I can tell you this: they're very bitter and a bit gritty! :(

It was years ago, but still makes me shudder!

Mmmm, Slug butties

Righty ho, back to the Lemo ! As i said, i just kept it stock and the coil read as 1.1 ohms, so filled her with steamgunks captain custard, set the ipv to 15 watts and had a blast, boy it was a hottish vape. So i took the base back off and fully opened the AFC, took another toot, and it was still a bit warm. I will say at this point the juice is lovely, and certainly on par with the GVC.

Oky doky, emptied the tank, pulled the wick, and closed the coils a touch and rayoned the bugger up. This time i filled with chefs RY, Using the fill plug by the way, with no issues whatsoever. Took a vape, again at 14 watts ( Bloody beautiful ) The flavour is off the scale, and it produces a great, not great, a massive amount of vapour to boot.

These tanks are tons better than the kayfuns IMO, dead easy to fill, and also look a lot easier to coil, Which will be my next task once my others arrive. Get some nice micro`s in there. :D

Well i got 4 of the drops, which can go on 4 of my sticks, and i got a big un, which will sit on one of my bigger box mods, probably one of my Hana`s Ahem  Then the orchids can fill the empty mods what are left. :)

Night mate, it will be a long one if you plan on running that battery down

Looks like you've got it all organised then mate. What is this Hana that you speak of though, don't think I've seen one in the flesh :p

I couldn't run the battery down you were right

The nature of your business would involve a far greater number of sales, and also purchases.
I buy a lot of my materials enough to last 6-12 months and sales are far more spaced out and fewer.
The actual entering and totalling is easy - it's my (uncharacteristic) non-filing system for everything the accountants ask for that tends to be scattered all over my studio in various files, folders, heaps and even stacked amongst other stuff at the side of my desk

I had to be organised with my accounts, you're right. That's partly the reason I would have found it difficult to have a holiday, there's no way I could catch up once I got home.

...and then the next big thing will hit us!

True. It's pointless buying huge amounts of anything these days, the vaping world moves that quickly with new innovation :D

I tend to get words the wrong way around: ..like feeding donkeys to a strawberry

:laugh::laugh::laugh:

I didn`t get any PMP on this occasion trish, maybe next time :) And why would you want to feed Ian to a strawberry ?

What a way to go that would be

  Ha-ha! You really did make me laugh out loud! Oh dear!
.......you do realise I'll have bad dreams of giant strawberries with big gnashers!

Please don't encourage him Trisha

Serves him right for the couple of digs he gave me when i wasn`t here

Ahh, revenge is a dish best served cold

My photos always come out the right way round though :p:laugh:

Ordered another lemo drop this morning, along with 4 assorted digbys and 30ml of Castle Long, the king of juice.

Cut my nic down to 12,this order from 18, so lets hope i can handle that.

George, try mixing the 12 with the 18mg juice, that way it won't be too much of a massive step down :)

Now I'm spoilt for choice. Do I still order the I sticks or wait to find out more on these. They do look good.

Buy em all mate  That's my policy, if I'm unsure, I buy one of each

I hope you took the sarnie back Trisha.

Years ago my Dad found a dead maggot in some dried peas. He got the local paper involved. Batchelors, that made the peas, sent him a cheque for about £100 by way of an apology

No vapemail for me today :(

Did have a look at the Orchid though, the coil screws on mine are bloody awful - way too small. Looks like I'll be coiling it through the block holes instead.

Just gave it a clean tonight. Still waiting for daylight to coil it up properly :)

I see FT have the Billet box clones in now

The screws are tiny ian yes, but the design of the orchid means you have to use the holes anyway, as the airhole is on the base of the deck, and not on top like a kayfun :)

Sorry mate, but they are better  Like i said, very good with the stock coil, but once they have a micro in there, well i can`t imagine :D

Hopefully mine will arrive on Monday, then I can have a look :) Must admit, I'm getting a much better vape from the Rose than most of my Kayfuns too. The only Kayfuns that I can't beat yet are the ones where I've modded the juice channels and airflow. If the Lemo and Orchid last longer than the Kayfuns though, looks like I'll have to buy a few

Well that's a relief  Didn't fancy trying to use the screws for trapping the coils

What gauge wire are you using mate ?? The post holes look pretty big, so I could probably even get a twisted coil in there :D

I did experiment a bit with the wire Ian, the first dual i did i used 30 ga for a 0.8 coil. That one is running fantastic, the other 2 i have been using 28 ga, but can`t seem to get them running right with 28 gauge duals

You have probably read my previous posts about it. so i have these culprits with a single coil at around 1.2 using the 28. When i get round to it i will probably rebuild them both with 30 ga duals like the good un. :toast:

Thinking about it I do remember your earlier posts now - been a long day

I think I'll try thicker wire on my first build. Looking at the orchid I got, there seems to be a lot of daylight between the screw and the post holes, when the screws are fully tightened down. I think thinner gauge wire might just ride up the side of the screw when I tighten things down, so it won't make proper contact.

Like I said, I need daylight though, to do the job properly. I'll let you know how I get on.

I decided to dissemble the orchid just to see how things looked

the cotton had a bit of gunk at either side of the coil but the coil

itself looked clean, after dry burning the coil I gave it a quick once

over with an interdental brush but nothing came off so I bumped up

a couple of watts and repeated the dry burn and brush, again nothing

came off so I rewicked and refilled and it's vaping like a champ

I can't wait for my mods to get here to try a dual coil build
