Oh soz mate, the mvp

Ye I know I've edited the post, pity that it was a useful bit of info

If i`m honest vinnie, i have never had any bother when charging my batts. I have gone to bed, left the house, etc with the charger on. Mostly unintentionally But, i leave my phone my lappy charging when unattended as well. I haven`t seen ANY incidents at all in this country, where battery chargers have caused any misery.

Mmmm, Slug butties
That's right, have a good laugh ...and take that butty away!

I had to be organised with my accounts, you're right. That's partly the reason I would have found it difficult to have a holiday, there's no way I could catch up once I got home.
I keep saying I'll make an effort to do two years within a couple of months and start getting them done each month ..but so far it hasn't happened - partly it's because I don't want to pay two lots of accountants fees within a short time!
Still, they're very good and always get everything accurate.

True. It's pointless buying huge amounts of anything these days, the vaping world moves that quickly with new innovation :D
For now, yes. There seems to be something new every few weeks!
I was reading the details on the 'grandfather' thing:

From CASAA site: As noted in our blog last week, Representatives Boehner, McCarthy, and Upton wrote a letter to the Secretary of Health and Human Services suggesting that the grandfather date of February 15, 2007 for "new tobacco products" under the tobacco Control Act (TCA) be changed. Such a change would result in tens of thousands of e-cigarette products not being summarily removed from the market, so we believe this presents a huge opportunity for consumers.
CASAA: Call to Action: Ask Your Legislators to Support a Change to the Tobacco Control Act

As I understand it, they want a law that only e-cig products made/marketed before 2007 would be allowed! That, if passed, would mean all the new advanced pieces of equipment would be outlawed in the US.
I've seen amazing advances in just the relatively short time since I stopped smoking, and I'm concerned that what happens on one powerful continent will creep to others!
The big manufacturers may think twice about refining and advancing new products if the US ceases to be able to import them legally.

All may fizzle out, but definitely food for thought!

What a way to go that would be
You've never been chased by a giant strawberry with big gnashers have you! - Ouch!

Please don't encourage him Trisha
Doesn't take much :D

My photos always come out the right way round though :p:laugh:
It's something to do with photos taken with a mobile phone in landscape mode?

I hope you took the sarnie back Trisha.
I did! ..and they merely offered me a replacement free of charge!!! They obviously hadn't thought it through though ...they lost a daily order from at least half of 20 employees, often many more depending who was in the office at lunchtime.
We started using an excellent butcher who made wonderful pork, beef, chicken & cheese/tomato buns fresh every lunch time! Could have onions, horseradish, stuffing...anything we asked for really.

Years ago my Dad found a dead maggot in some dried peas. He got the local paper involved. Batchelors, that made the peas, sent him a cheque for about £100 by way of an apology
Worst thing I got in food was in one of the fresh chicken and vegetable meals from Sainsbury's & cooked within two hours of purchase - a few hours later I was feeling ill (husband was fine). By next day I was delirious, and for three days didn't know the difference between reality and imagination.
It was a week before I could get up for a day and I'd lost 20lbs - tests showed it to be campylobacter! I never, ever want that again!

I couldn't prove what had caused it so didn't say anything - but we stopped shopping there.
With recent news reports about the percentages of infected chicken alone (It's not just chicken that is vulnerable) we've stopped buying chicken.
Funny how that news story went quiet as fast as it appeared ....something to do with the time of year perhaps?

Whatever - use it fresh and cook it thoroughly! Campylobacter isn't always as vicious as I'd had it, but not recommended if avoidable.

This was information on extending your batteries working life

I've always charged early and often in line with that advice

but I had never seen the charts before

The postman came around 2pm today, left a few things and went - no delivery from France or the US.

He then came back having missed one: A box with a French postal label on it!
Really happy to see that! My original order was placed 18.11.14 - but never arrived. Nathan at Cloudhouse kindly re-sent the order for me. It was a mix of MBV, SNG, Gremlin and Indigo in 5ml, 15ml and 20ml bottles, plus 100ml .6mg unflavoured VG!

He took it to the post office on Sat 6th, but it didn't move until 9th. Eventually it showed it as being ready to leave France on 11th, and today it arrived! :)
So I reckon if something was posted on perhaps a Monday, it could perhaps arrive by Saturday if lucky!

Anyway, Everything was in the box plus two complimentary bottles of MBV: Honey Berries and Udderly Nuts - the first self explanatory, the second is peanut butter and vanilla ice cream. I haven't tried either yet, but both are .6mg and max VG! :)

Seeing they'd been in transit since 6th, I thought that once back at room temperature I'd try a couple!
SNG Last Stand - Custard Hazelnuts Whipped Cream - very nut forward for now, but as I used it, it grew on me! Could taste the rest of it better too once warm.
SNG Milkshake - Vanilla & Custard. Very nice, mild but positive flavours. Will also be good with something like strawberry, apricot, coffee, cake etc.
SNG Cloud 9 - Vanilla, Pecan nuts, Whipped Cream. Very nice! I could easily use this for some hours. Tastes as it should with the pecan being very nice.

So there's three for now - would certainly buy the Cloud 9 and Milkshake again, and will need to use the Last Stand a bit more to decide - I'll use it all though!

I tasted a bit of the SNG Double Black: black coffee and tobacco - the drop tasted very good so I reckon I'll be trying it properly tomorrow! :)

Yep, never run a battery completely empty vin, and they should be good for 300+ charges :)

My missus spent 6 months on antibiotics after contracting C. Pilori, we never knew the source either
I've seen people react quite mildly when I mention I had food poisoning, even when I say 'campylobacter' - many people have no idea how bad it can be.
I got salmonella from fresh tuna in Tenerife the night before we came home some years ago! It was a lovely restaurant and everything was taken from a large stainless steel fridge in full view of the diners - very clean and a great chef too. Obviously, it had been handled by someone with less than clean hands!
I was feeling really bad by morning and our flight wasn't until the evening! It was a miserable day for both of us - everyone had access to an apartment where luggage etc. were stored, so I was at least able to use the shower ...a few times! Good thing we could access our luggage too.
By the time we were on the plane and were asked to choose what we wanted to eat, it had been 28 hours since I'd eaten. When I refused the food, they brought me a huge bottle of water, a large plate of crudities, and a few fresh bread buns - those and another dose of the antibiotics the Spanish chemist had given me, and I started to feel better, had a cup of tea and slept for a couple of hours.
Couldn't eat fish for a number of years without getting an upset tum though.

Good news on the juices Trish
Yes, I was very pleased to see that package arrive! :)

Forbidden Planet is just starting on BBC 2
this film has been frightening the bejaysus out of me for 50 odd years
I just took a quick look: a silver Michelin man robot with a bunch of giant flowers and a monkey eating fruit ...no doubt it gets scary, and I'll take your word for it. Don't think I've seen that one before.

Does that apply to all batteries?

Yes, it's a good site - The Gremlin is in glass dropper bottles, and the three I have are very clear golden shades. The Indigo, MBV & SNG seem to be made by Nathan from concentrates. again, beautifully crystal clear liquid in varying lemons to golds, and in plastic bottles with neat nozzles - where there was the option, I got two shots of flavour in each.

I just tasted another drop of that Double Black ..not a hint of tobacco, but it does taste very nice! Definitely trying that tomorrow!
I also want to try the Gremlin Vanilla Overload tomorrow too.

I see he's got Bombies now. I have two of theirs that I got at least a month ago and I haven't tried them yet ..must do that! :)

Obviously, for anything new, the taste will depend on your personal preference, but it all seems very good quality!

As far as I know it applies to all lithium polymer batteries

Partial discharge/charge cycles dont take as much out of the

chemistry. My mvp has never seen the yellow led or been charged to full capacity

Right I'm off to have nightmares about monsters from the id

Hi Peeps, went to a Vape Meet yesterday, that's why I wasn't around, it was a change of venue since I last went and a bit harder to get to from where I live, so not sure if i will bother again, we set the Fire Alarm off  so we had to open the windows a bit more.

Postie hadn't come by the time I left at about 4.15 but when I got back at 10pm there was some vapemail, a couple of extenders for my StiG Helix, so that I can use Drippers on it, they are made of solid brass 22mm diameter and 1 is 38mm tall the other 44mm tall and they weigh a ton  I could probably use them in my Kato and VModz as well

FT has shipped my IPV3 via HK, ordered 12th 5 day shipping and shipped 13th - they're getting better

Vince, Cloupor are both, their first that I know of was the Hana clone that everyone called the Cana, but then they started making their own starting with the T5, don't know what they did before February though.

Trish, see your juices finally arrived from Cloudhouse, I was going to order mine from them, but 2 of the ones I wanted were not on the list of flavours, so ended up ordering direct from MBV

and finally, I found out about VapeJam at the Vape Meet, it seems that Phil Busardo will be coming over for it - there is not really any info on the site yet and the Home & About pages quote different dates, have emailed them about that, tickets go on sale 1st Jan

Typical! May be worth asking him if he normally has it or intends to get it - I want to try Admiral Berry Crunch & G Men but he hasn't got them ...amazing that he has so many, yet obviously not all.
Still, Chefs don't have a huge number of their concentrates ...they have that Admiral Berry one though, but not G Men - think I'll end up getting the ready made from MBV

Nice to have the order arrive though - plenty that I'd never have tried otherwise, and I'm already pretty sure there'll be a few repeat orders :)
I also want to try the Blueberry Waffle from Gremlin.

I can't wait for my mods to get here to try a dual coil build

The difference between a single and dual coil is night and day mate - think double of everything

I keep saying I'll make an effort to do two years within a couple of months and start getting them done each month ..but so far it hasn't happened - partly it's because I don't want to pay two lots of accountants fees within a short time!
Still, they're very good and always get everything accurate.

The last couple of years in the business I changed my Accountants. All they were doing was basically checking my figures and charging me £1200 + VAT per year for the privilege. When it got to the stage they wanted to charge me extra for checking the figures when I had my garage, I decided to look elsewhere. Found a smaller local company that charged me £150 per year instead - big difference. I was doing 99% of the work for them anyway

For now, yes. There seems to be something new every few weeks!

In short, I honestly don't think there's a "snowball in hell's" chance of them regulating anything. Any rulings will get challenged in the high court and eventually quashed. Vaping has now reached the point where any laws won't be pushed through under the radar, there'd be riots in the streets :D

You've never been chased by a giant strawberry with big gnashers have you! - Ouch!

Does the Wife count, she chases me a lot

Worst thing I got in food was in one of the fresh chicken and vegetable meals from Sainsbury's & cooked within two hours of purchase - a few hours later I was feeling ill (husband was fine). By next day I was delirious, and for three days didn't know the difference between reality and imagination.

That sounds awful Trisha :(

I never eat any chicken or fish cold at all. I always nuke it to the point of oblivion  The Wife loves cold prawns, not for me though - they either have to be well cooked in a curry or paella.

I bet there's a lot of cases that go un-noticed with food poisoning. Most people tend to have a bad stomach for a day or so, then forget about it. I definitely wouldn't want to go through what you did though.

Decided to get the Orchid up and running after work.

Tried a few different wire sizes to see which would trap the best under the post screws. In the end went with 28g kanthal. Bit of a fiddly build, but got it set up eventually. Ended up doing 2mm coils this time, 3mm was a bit too close to the chimney for comfort.
Think I did about 12 wraps on each coil, forgotten now

Anyway came out at 1.2 ohms, filled up with some NT The Doodle. Used it on the Stingray to start with, was taking too long to heat up, so I thought I'd try it on the iStick. It's showing 1.1 ohms on there, started at a lowish 15 watts - bloody hell what a nic rush, had to stop vaping for 20 minutes

I've now settled at much more manageable 9 watts  The iStick is still amazing me with how well it works :D

I was going to wait for daylight, cos to be honest their not the best looking coils. But they work ok. 16 wraps sound about right, I know I wrapped them so I had the shortest possible leg lengths, they definitely fill all the available space :D
