Back on - they cut the power at 08:35 and restored it after doing all the work required @ 13:58, so not quite as bad as I thought, Temp went down to 17 in the front room, but it's slowly going back up. I'll have a read through later and see what you've been up to.

Vapemail, my NI-200 wire arrived and so did the Billow.

There's an owners thread on the variable voltage apv discussion forum Trish
By all accounts most owners are very happy with them
I was all but ready to pre order one but got impatient and bought summat else
EDIT
Not sure there is a v2 mini - there's a v2 50 watt
I'll look later and see if I can find that section, thanks.
I see they have the grey & silver in stock now, but no gold or blue listed yet!

Yes i think i will go with CH for now, and get a feel for their juices :) I hope bob is still awake and reads this I don`t do chocolate trisha

8-o

That my dear trisha is the Mini version, of what Ian, bob, and my good self have, and THAT is a bloody good price for such a great device :D

EDIT: That is the first version i think, where we have the V2, but i`m not sure if there is much difference, bob will know better :)

I have the IPV v1 which was a 35w mod and didn't have the touch sensor, that one is the mini version, which a lot of the makers seem to be jumping on the iStick bandwagon by making mini versions of their normal sized ones - think it best to wait for the reviews to come in, especially for people who do not vape at high wattages.

I dont have much luck posting links
I read that they are having a problem getting the colour coatings right
Ah! I've emailed to ask if they're due in, so will see what they say.

Perhaps so Bob. I liked that it works at 5W up. Think it's already been on sale in the US.

Glad your power wasn't off too long! :)

Order still showing as being in New Zealand, and after 20 minutes on the phone to Royal Mail, they told me what I could already see on the tracking!!

It's been 6 days since it got there, and RM said it should have been put on a plane back right away instead of getting through the system. I suspect it'll never turn up back here.
So, I gritted my teeth and re-ordered four of the six I'd ordered to try. Just missed the Christmas discount by two days, so no discount either.
I asked Indigo to despatch it asap in the hope it gets here fast.

Got a reply and they offered me a future discount and said they'd include a couple extra samples, so I asked for two specific ones that I really do want to try (2 NET's: Naturally RY & Creekside) so hopefully that's what they'll send - prefer that to a discount code.
They're also going to send it tomorrow by Priority rather than basic first class USPS ....hoping this one gets here fast!

The Kayfun Quartz Nano and larger quartz tank Fasttech supply, both fit the Orchid, Vince.
I've ordered a couple because i think it's the only option for Orchid fitting glass tanks, could be wrong but it's all i can find. They're only a couple of quid each

Problem with those though is that there is a chance of the tank coming apart in your pocket, I don't like tanks where the glass fits over the o-rings, much rather have them Lemo style where the seals are inside the atty and the tanks get held in place by the chimney screwing into the top.

Make sure you let us have your thoughts on the billow compared to the lemo.

My ni200 wire was dispatched today so am looking forward to working with thicker wire again. Plugging them into steam engine a single coil should be feasible on the 0.35mm

When I get round to doing a build for it, don't know why they bother including a bit of nickel wire and ekowool, most people use Kanthal and cotton/rayon these days.

I had a feeling you didn't like chocolate! Never mind :) I emailed Nathan just after midnight with a query, and he replied half an hour later! Now that did surprise me! :)

Aw bless! :) ..you wouldn't have to have the syrup! ..you'd like the rest?

They're just getting it in stock soon, so perhaps the first mini version? I do like the look of the blue one! ...I'm terrible for blue - if something electric has a blue power light, I'm sold!
I see it's a little bigger than our iSticks, and it takes an 18650! So the battery can be replaced.
I'm thinking I'd like one of those ;)

I was just going to get some stuff from CH, and they are Shut for chrimbo

Bob I intalled the duals in The orchid i was talking about last night. First coil in no problem, second in, and snapped one of the bleeding legs, by over tightening it
So i made a new coil, and got it all set up nicely ! wouldn`t fire on the stick saying no atomizer, so i put it on my hana, and it reads 1 ohm  I was aiming for 1.2, but hey ho  Anyhoo, test fired it and both coils glowing lovely, from the inside/out. :)

So far so good, wicked her up with rayon, and put a few drops of juice on, test fired again and all is good ! Filled up with SG&C, let it sit for 10 minutes, set the hana to 22 watts, and boy is she running good :toast: I still find it a bit strange that this juice tastes a bit weird, but it will soon be gone with this set up.I will have to get some more at my usual 50/50 and just hope it`s right next time.

Got to say thanks Terry, you've got me stuck on Blue Moo. I haven't used off that sample you gave me yet, I keep going back to it and comparing to what I have in stock and it's very good.
I've found that Chefs Vaper stocks it on their uk web site but can't find the details eg. Pg/vg mix, strength or bottle size. Any ideas how to find this? And is the juice the same as Terry gave me that he got from the USA?

When I was in the game the manufacturer sent a rep with samples and data sheets

for Ekowool, the performance specs were very impressive but the safety sheets said

more about the health risks of other products rather than the safety of their own

About 2 weeks later the company from which they were trying to nick a market

share sent me data sheets on the main Ekowool component Si O2 and it was

worse than a lot of the other stuff. At that time Ekowool wasn't listed on

Wiki but the health implications of Si O2 were very worrying and I wouldn't let

my lads use it on site. I certainly wouldn't vape on it

Yes, so I see! Never mind - won't be too long before they're back.
If I hadn't wanted to replace my lost Indigo ones as fast as I could, I wouldn't be ordering anything abroad anywhere now until after the holidays.
If you have any questions about ordering in the meantime though, just send him an email.

MBV give a vague percentage range of 15-40%! Generally, people start around 20% with PG/VG bases, I'll go for 25% though with my 100% VG base.
For added flavour, 1 shot = up to 2%

I'm sure Chefs will answer any queries though - they've always been helpful.

Yep that's it Trish
Looks rather nice

It's a concentrate on chefs vapour I believe. You'll need to mix it with pg, vg and nic.

At least I think that's the confusion you're having...
