After some searching for a vape shop (not a smoke shop that sells cheap vape brands) I discovered the closest one to me is a place called Vapor Lounge in Walnut Creek, roughly 1/2 hour away. There are a couple in Oakland I believe but I'm not too familiar with that city and I'm not the best with directions lol.
Was just wondering if anyone had been there? And if so, how was it? I'm trying to help my best friend of 34 years get off the stinkies. Last week we went to dinner together and I came armed with all the sample bottles I had collected, my 808 battery and some disposable clearos that fit the 808 battery. Basically I put them all on her table, told her to pick a flavor, and then filled up the clearo and handed it to her. She took a couple of puffs (held it like a cigarette and puffed it like one too lol) and after that she didn't put it down the whole evening. Managed to keep her off cigs for a few hours, yay!
Yesterday I sent her an email suggesting we get together whenever she's available for dinner again (this is usually every couple of weeks or so) and she called me back right when she got off work and basically said, "IthoughtIcouldcomedownthereandwecouldgotosuch-and-suchrestarauntandthenafterwardsgobacktoyourplaceandpuffonyoureciggys!...tomorrow!" (sorry, she was so excited it came off as a complete run-on word lol) After blinking a couple of times I said of course!
I wish I had thought to order her an e-cig starter kit but like I said, dinner is normally every 2 weeks or so. Soooo I don't want her to leave empty handed tonight and about all I could think of was making the 1/2 hour drive to get her going on e-cigs and hopefully permanently off cigarettes. I love her and she is absolutely worth it, but if anyone has any other suggestions I am open to them as well
