Dissolvables....more fear-porn from the cancer industry I suspect, but I've never heard of these.

Think it is a fear tactic or misinfo. I have seen flavor west and other sites sell caffeine and vitamines that have a really hi burning point. I don't think any of it vaporizes unless you vape over 100watts. Or are they talking about dissolving a menthol cristal in a bottle. I am not an expert on it but it seems that site is off track.

Never seen the CASAA talk about dissolvable. Do you have a link? I like the CASAA work in defending vaping.

We talk about different smoke-free tobacco products, including dissolvables, here: Smokefree Types

Our FDA testimony slides from January 2012: CASAA Dissolvables Testimony

TPSAC testimony: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...isks-different-tobacco-nicotine-products.html

Dr. Phillip's (CASAA Science Director) blog post on dissolvables: dissolvables | Anti-THR Lies and related topics

That's just a few. Quite a few of our Calls to Action have been trying to stop them from banning the sale of dissolvables. Unfortunately, the ANTZ have been quite effective at scaring people about them, so the products don't seem to have made it beyond marketing in test markets. It's a shame, because the products were much more appealing to women, who don't usually like to use smoke-free chew and snus products.

Are dissolvable any ejuice with nicotine? If they are then I take back my first statement.

No, disolvables have nothing to do with e-cigs. Disolvables are a class of smokeless tobacco product. Camel had a few different forms like the orb, stick, and I think strips. I cannot remember if they rolled them out nationwide or only in test markets but I don't see them anymore.

I don't understand your question. Did you read the web page you posted or any of the links I posted? From that article:
Dissolvables," as they have become collectively known, are products made of compressed tobacco and are available in a variety of forms, including sticks, pellets, and strips (think the Listerine breath strip). They dissolve in the user's mouth, delivering nicotine, as well as thousands of other chemicals and substances. Examples of these products...

That article IS more scaremongering and lies, but about smoke-free tobacco products not e-cigarettes. Don't take back your first statement - it's true! ;)

I feel sorry for ANTZ sometimes. How hollow and empty you would have to be to do so much harm by letting blind fear or greed guide so many of your actions. Now I don't pity then enough to stop from making them look like fools and tools with nothing more then a link, but still kind of have to wonder how they could actually live with themselves.

I recall seeing the orbs locally.

I'm curious, now. If they say they're bad i gotta try it.

I'm all for alternative nicotine delivery systems. Back when it was prescription-only, I used Nicorette to quit smoking for 14 years...then I started smoking again, and later learned that about 70% of gum-users do the same. To me, it all seems to revolve around nicotine, a chemical that is lethal when concentrated, and curiously benign in lesser doses. It causes people to be more alert and more relaxed at the same time. It gives a subtle feeling of control and well-being. Doesn't this sound like something our government would make illegal if it could?

Tobacco has a noble history. Pipes and cheroots have a rich heritage. The original inhabitants of this continent regarded it as a sacred herb. We should think about this. Modern tobacco companies have mixed the plant with thousands of chemicals and marketed it as a harmless lifestyle accessory. In recent years, political correctness has condemned smokers with no understanding of nicotine itself, and less comprehension of nicotine as an herbal companion.

In the 21st century we have an alternative that is comparable to the birth of computers. Electronics has given us an instrument that delivers a controlled dose of nicotine in an abundance of flavors, without the thousands of unknown chemicals added to it by an industry that has profited from death for more than 100 years. It's a game-changer.

We have major economic and corporate interests striving to shut us down. I think we need to take a look at all form of nicotine delivery. I think we need to arrive at decisions about what we support and what we don't. And to do that we need to understand the science behind various products and not the politics.

True, Dave and that is exactly what CASAA is trying to do.

But e-cigarette use is clearly showing us that its not just the nicotine that keeps people smoking - its not even the main thing! Take 20 people who smoked 20 regular Marlboros a day -people the ANTZ see simply as nicotine addicts - introduce them to e-cigarettes and watch what happens. Using ANTZ logic, all 20 people should be using the same device, same tobacco or menthol flavor and same nicotine strength. But what we see are 20 different results: some use 0 mg, some use up to 36 mg, some quit smoking, some need other tobacco products, some search for the best tobacco flavor, while some cant stand tobacco flavors, some vape all day while others vape only when they used to smoke - yet they used to all smoke the exact same cigarette, with the exact same amount of nicotine and the exact number of times a day. What does that say about the ANTZ claim that smokers mostly smoke for the nicotine?

Keep living on the edge buddy.
They absolutely could not be as bad as the gum I tried years ago. It was like a chemical assault on all my mucus membranes. I've always been pretty bothered by the postulation that anything with flavors is being marketed to children, adults like flavors too.
One of the big reasons I gravitated towards e-cigs is having a choice in flavors -- I was no longer interested in paying into a system that banned my favorite cigarettes while paying the absurd taxes. I can't see these working anywhere near as well as e-cigs but people should be free to use them. The policies put in place that chastise companies for attempting to market their products are just absurd.
/// when they start giving them out with justin beaver cds, then we can worry about youth marketing.
