I have a new 801 manual battery that when the button is pressed it just doesn't fire up..( Pause for a ahh crap moment)

Does anyone know how to fix the button to make it work again?
I know it's under warranty , but I never send small items back coz it is way more fun to throw a mini fit ...then try to fix it...

Thank You all in advance for any suggestions:thumbs:

Sometimes after I have a mini b**ch fit and throw things to the ground, they start working. Worth a shot. LOL

On a serious note... have you checked your charger with another battery that needs a charge to make sure the battery is getting a charge. Perhaps you have a different charger that you can try recharging the battery?

I had one manual that didn't work right, popped off the battery button and the contact wasn't in the right place (was back almost beyond the hole for the button). I moved it to the correct position gently with a sharp set of tweezers and it worked. Maybe try that too?

I took off the button and had a look..The position is the same as my other battery's, there is nothing inside blocking the connection...I also pressed the button with the button cover off and it clicked..( no led light up)
My battery charger's are good I checked them with other battery's... I put this one back on the charger and the light stays blue.

Had another B**ch fit...LOL

What can I do next?

Yeah, my husband doesn't like it. I usually leave a bruise on him. He does get up and work and is quite usable for a good week until he forgets how much it hurt. <grin>

Bobbie... Try gently pulling up the center post on it with a needle or paper clip. Some times they don't make good contact with the atty. Or try the staple fix for contact.

I have two 510 batteries -- one standard, one extra-long -- that both began exhibiting the same weird behavior today: they don't warm an atty and the LED is constantly on.

When one started doing this, I moved the atty to the other and within 10 minutes it was in eternal sunshine mode, so in my case it seems like this particular atomizer might be "poisoning" the batteries into a broken state.
