Has anyone had to take a drug test since starting with e cigs. I need to know if they can cause you to fail a drug test. I am starting a nursing program in the fall and I have to take a drug test a week before classes start. I just though about this and I don't want to have to smoke regular cigs for a week before my test.

you'll be good unless it's a nicotine test (I don't even know if these exist). I took a drug test not too long ago and I was clean. I highly doubt your pv would cause any false positives.
Thanks I'm not concerned about nicotine, I know that some things can cause a negative test result, like poppyseeds, and I just wanted to be sure cause if I fail the test I can't start my classes and I will be kicked out of the program
I wouldn't think any drugs would come up. But you can show them the e-cig and explain.
Not that that would do much, you could always bring a poppyseed muffin wrapper and say "See? I had this for breakfast"
I dont see there being a problem. A drug test detects drugs like marijuana, ......., sometime alcohol, etc. You should be fine.
