Anyone order anything from China lately?

I'm wondering first of all, if they're even getting through customs. And second, if they are, do we get charged a tariff when the order gets here.

After a month the vendor refunded the purchase, but as a store credit and it makes no sense to use it till this returns to normal. Anyone else have a similar experience?

Let me preface my response by saying, the vendor has been the best I've ever used from China. Until the "de minimis" exemption was eliminated, I never had any issues with receiving orders.
The vendor was Soucemore.

Nevermind I see you have store credit. Wait to play it safe or order now and run a slight risk. You'll probably be fine tho. Big boxes are more likely to get checked. If you order like 10 box mods customs will probably try to tax you. One can easily slip through.

There are still lots of reasons people still buy vape gear from china, but one main reason is because there are still older tanks and coils still being manufactured but not many US online sellers selling them. And you won't find them at all at B&M stores because 99% of them cater only to the new vapers so they mostly sell pods and disposables and the rest of the inventory is non-nicotine related.

In my town there aren't even any dedicated nicotine vape shops left. They are all essentially head shops that sell some nicotine vape gear. The rest of their inventory is grey market non-vape gimmick products for people with little to no common sense.

You do know there's no vaping ban in the USA right?

Not federally but there are states where vape is hard to get.

Exactly. I tried to order what I want from a US store and they tacked on around $30 because it seems my state thinks that extortion on vaping products is a way to increase their revenue. I can get the same item from Sourcemore for a few dollars less. And it's doubtful they'll tack on the extortion to my state. But want to make sure I'm actually going to get my order and not have to pay a tariff when it gets here.

DIY is the answer. I thought it was all legal there sorry.

I DIY just about everything related to vaping. I have tons of rebuildables and wind my own coils. I make my own juice. And have been doing those things for a good 10 years or more. But I would like another 21700 dual battery mod for my stash. I bought a Vaporesso Armour Max Pro a few months ago from a US seller without a hitch. But now I can't buy another without the extortion from Oregon. I don't need it bad enough to pay $30 more than the regular price.

Just so you know, ECF forum is basically 99.999% old school vapers & most of us DIY to some extent - juice, coils or both. Those of us that don't DIY stocked up on coils and juices before things got bad. Some of us have been stocking up since 2010 lol.

Nothing's ever guaranteed. What i can say is that i ordered from Sourcemore several times & never had a problem of any kind. Same for HealthCabin, but less recently.
