I am terrible at building coils. For RDA's I've been buying coils from fast tech. They work pretty good but are a bit flimsy due to the thin wire, but they work. I've been trying some of the vendors on ebay and some of them do terrific work. I did order a jig to try and make my own but odds aren't in my favor. With the fast tech coils it is so easy to screw them in and pull a strip of cotton pad thru. I know some will look down on this but for those of us with trembly hands its good to have options.

If you have an issue with your hands where you really can't use them due to some medical problem by all means buy premade ones but if you just think coil making is to much work i would strongly advise you to try again.

There's really nothing to it , very very easy. That being said Fasttechs premade coils are an excellent bargain and even come prewicked , great for Pro Tank rebuilds but can't say about RDA use.

I agree with herb

Last year, after watching a ....load of youtube videos, and doing a ton of research, I finally bought my first mech and rda (after moving from cigalikes to ego style..ego style to regulated mods and carto tanks) and within minutes, I got the basics of building down. By the end of the day, I was building coils that looked and vaped very well. The next day, twisted builds. Unless you have severe arthritis or Parkinsons or something, you can build. Just practice wrapping and watch build videos on youtube. No idea what youre doing wrong or why you think its so hard, but it isnt..and whatever youre doing wrong is something that can be easily fixed

I got a bag of 2.1 Ohm coils from FT - I can't remember the exact gauge, but they were NR-R-NR and every one I've pulled out has measured 2.0-2.2 Ohms. I don't use the wick, but it helps hold the shape until I get it installed. Yeah, I could make my own coils, but not NR-R-NR and the price for 50 coils is ridiculous cheap. Just be sure to burn them before wicking to get rid of any oils/residue.
