Okay, so I got the eleaf istick 50 watt with a Kanger mini subtank a couple of weeks ago and have been in love. Like so much so with this new vaping experience, that I need a back-up. At first, I didn't understand other members here that said they had several of the same items. But now I definitely do!! However, I don't want to get more of the same things, that would be boring. So, what I am looking at doing is getting an MVP 3 and the Nano Subtank from Sweet-vapes.com. Anyone care to share their experience with the MVP3 versus the iStick 50 or the Nano and the Mini, how they compare? Which you like better? Or if you've ever ordered from this vendor? I'd be interested to hear your experiences before i make this purchase.

Thank you all. I'm thinking what I'll probably do is leave the mini and the iStick at home and use them primarily for sub ohm coil building and just run 1.2's in the Nano with the MVP and have that for work and outside. I've actually done some shopping around and found both the cheapest at Mount Baker Vapor. Seems they are well known and get good reviews here? I have a 10% off coupon code for them if I am allowed to post those here?

why not just get another mini for the mvp3. the mvp3 is bigger then istick50. it may not look right with the nano. do you use the rba deck with your mini? the nano can only use pre built coils.
To answer your question because, I'm cheap but my ideas not final. I was thinking about another mini or even the full size. Yeah I do use the RBA I was thinking of going rba only in the mini. But one would be for out of the house. In which case is want the MVP for that unit as I think it's odds of survival in a fall may be better than the iStick. This probably does t make sense but there's a method to getting more toys at minimal cost in here somewhere lol.

I do have the 50W istick, but I've only had it 2 days. There was plenty I disliked about the 20W, but you know what? I used it as my beater mod, and I didn't kill it. In fact, it looked quite good yesterday when I sent to Cleveland for my friend to use. And its almost 6 months old; I got one of the first available.

That being said, I always thought the MVP just seemed really durable. I only had my 2.0 for about 3 months due to its limitations. I would buy v3 if the price was a little lower.

If I were to guess, the MVP probably is the more durable mod.

within my own thoughts....
Just wanted to say thanks to each of you that gave input on this thread so far. I was actually looking into rebuilding coils on my nautilus mini and was preparing to purchase another mod until i can afford a Provari. I was leaning toward the iStick 50W and was also looking for tank that gave me the option to do RBA on or use stock coils...now i know which tank and thats the Kanger mini subtank. :)

I have a MVP 2.0 (shine edition now) and purchased it in January, so i'm sure i have several more months for it to last me, but still going to get the iStick 50W for my new subtank....but after reading Roxynoodle's post...i may just put my money into another MVP ....oh decisions, decisions! ha

So yeah, love this forum and how everyone tries to help and give advice. It really helps us newbies :) And i "think" i'm ready to get into RBA's as well as rebuilding the coils on my nautilus mini (which i absolutely love). Still doing lots of research and reading so when i go to place an order for what i'll need as far as tools, wires and cotton...i'll know what i'm doing.

Ya'll Rock!

EDIT: Ok, my bad....just was reading more on the subtank and that's for sub-ohms...something i'm not interested in at the moment. So i'm thinking the Kanger Aerotank would best suit my vaping needs. My apologies....*going back to my corner*

Considering the limit on wattage of the MVP 3.0 is only 30w, I don't see it being worth the high price that it is. I can sorta understand the DNRs. But not the MVP. Hell I got my Istick 30w for about 33 bucks just after the 50w was released. It works perfect with my Kanger Sub-Tank Mini. Hell I don't even go over 20 watts with it. I tried once. Was using 25w and it burnt out the coil early. Or should I say the wick. Not having this issue when keeping it under 20 watts. The only way way I will be going higher is if I get into rebuilding. Which at the moment doesn't interest me much. 50w of course is way too high I think. But to each his or her own. Still if I was going to pick between the MVP 3.0 and the Istick 50w I would just go with the Istick. Though for me personally I would just pick the 30w. lol Innokin makes great products. Very durable. But to me it just isn't worth that extra cost.

If looking for some variety and you rebuild, I highly recommend the Youde Goblin RTA (Link To ECF Thread).

All but the initial release version comes with two tanks and chimneys so it can be configured for 3 or 4.5ml capacity. It is an exceptional flavor and vapor producer. Can't personally compare it to the Subtank yet. Coincidentally the Istick 50 and Subtank Mini are currently at the top of my wishlist.

Got mine and excellent CS from Triangle Vape but they are currently out of stock. Mt. Baker also carries the Goblin.

ENJOY THE VAPOR

Hon, you can buy 1.2 ohm coils for the Subtank as well :). It won't run on a Provari though (well, maybe on the P3. I'm not sure. The previous versions have a cutoff of 1.3ohm I think).

As for the MVP only going to 30W, well, most of my 20+ RBAs would run just fine under 30W. If its your only mod and you like dual coils, that might not be enough depending on how you built them. If you build them with 28g wire, 30W is enough. If you use 26g or thicker, get a 50W mod.

But, yes, I think you could toss an mvp out a moving car and it would survive  I don't think many other mods would.

nothing cheaper than building your own coils.

I just got my iStick 30watt in yesterday (have a couple of the 20s) and I'm loving it with all my tanks (V2/megas, rba included).

(don't order from VaporBeat unless you want to wait 15 days from order to get it though :( I'd seen someone on here mention they were good and tried them, Next time with the 50watt Sweet-Vapes and I'll get it in 3 days *argh*)
