So, I just got the Monster v2 clone. Which I got partly because it has kayfun-esque origins, but mostly because I'm in love with any bell cap I see, ever. And it was ten bucks.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks that could be useful? There are a few videos that show me how to do a build on it, but that's about it.

Thanks SO much, this forum has been an excellent resource, and I've only been on a few days.

You may want to take a look at fasttech. They still have a number of kayfun Monster clones. The V3 clone is basically the same as the V2 since the center airflow is identical. I have never seen a glass bell cap. Not sure that they exist. Not much to setting these up. Max 3mm coil but works best with 2.5mm.

Thanks for the approximate settings. I'll definitely be testing it out, but it's good to have a starting place. I'm used to about 50-60W, but starting there didn't seem right.

That v3 clone looks awesome. I love mine so far, looking at it at least. My first clone, and the quality is awesome. It has the logo on the drip tip and center thingy (chimney?), which looks fantastic with the bell cap.

The batteries for my ohm reader come tomorrow, then I can finally start building.
