Anyone remember what this switch does?

So i found this ancient wismec in my stiff. It used to be black. I may have taken a sander to it at one point. Anyway theres this switch just under the atty, and i dont remember what it is for. Anyone know?

It locks the mod (so it won't pocket fire or anything like that).

Avoid it like The Plague. The Wismec switches were known to fail (quite commonly too) and, when they do, the mod becomes a brick.

Do yourself a huge favor and forget you ever saw it.
