Anyone see this NEW article about eliquid having 10,000 chemicals in it?

I conducted a study of my own. I smoked tobacco cigarettes for 26 years 1 pack per day, and here were my results: The study was extremely expensive and the cost increased year by year from $1.50/pack to $10.00/pack. Increasing costs as well as decreasing health of the test subject caused me to have to abandon the experiment after only 26 years. Sorry, the researcher admits his failure and confesses to being a quitter.

The test subject (me) was hopelessly addicted to the drug Nicotine and incapable of quitting after many attempts
The subject grew moody and irritable when deprived even for short periods of time from said drug.
The subject had wheezing raspy respiration, got winded after walking up one flight of stairs
Never a winter passed when the subject didn't get numerous colds, chronic bronchitis and tonsillitis, always thick icky congestion.
The subject's wife did NOT enjoy the smokers breath, and always smelling like smoke
The subjects kids felt that daddy smelled icky and cringed from hugs or kisses due to daddy's icky bad breath
The subject had a nice scarring inside his lungs after 26 years (per x-rays) the beginnings of Emphysema not to mention other ill effects which only get worse over time.

I have no idea whether vaping e-liquids is healthier for me than smoking, I simply know this:
I don't cough, wheeze or have horrible congestion and nasty gurgly phlegm anymore (yup, you know what I'm talking about)
My lungs work better and better, can expand more fully and I NOW don't get winded from cardio workouts. It's been many years since I felt that 'second wind' in a workout.
My wife and kids are happy now that I'm not a stinking odiferous ashtray.
I feel better, and have more energy and might on any given day smell of bakery desserts or fruit preserves.

My study is just as factual as the study mentioned above, even more so as I did the actual research and sited my own observation. Curses on the exploiters who would use the high traffic interest in ecigs for their own petty agenda of getting view counts on their blog.

I had someone at work tell me this today in our meeting. I explained to him (mind, I'm not a doctor or a scientist) that too much of ANYTHING will kill you. this guy's a good guy, and I don't mind working with him in the least, but it's incredible how some people read one thing and buy it lock, stock and barrel. As far as this "study", I'm calling shenanigans!

It is all misguided. Everything has lots of chemicals. The only issue is whether or not they are harmful...

True, and *we* need to put it into perspective by comparing it to the levels found in cigarettes.

Numbers without context are most often useless.

Water contains close to 1,000,000 ppm of dihydrogen oxide. :D

I quit smoking. I vape. I feel much better. End of my research / study!!!!!

^^ This. When smoking I would be wheezing, and hacking up awesome colors after a 10km run. A month after vaping I was doing 20km and my legs were giving out, not my lungs. 'nuff said for me.
