I was just thinking what would I do if the police saw my e-cig, box of carts, attys, batteries, e-juice, tooth picks, and other items I carry with the Joye-510's. Has anyone else run into this type of problem, if so your experience...The stuff I carry does kind of look like some kind of drug kit:evil: I just don't like the idea of waiting in jail while they chemically test my e-juice and trying to determine what the e-cig is. I guess I will just have to see what happens!!!8-o

.... YOU
i recently had a disposable e cig and took it into court. upon entry thru the metal detector, the officer working the gate was so distracted by the e cig, he totally forgot to check me. this could be a good or bad thing, it could draw the extra attention to your persons causing them to find something wrong, or be the opportunity to use ur intuition and educate big brother! either way i dont think ur gonna run into any problems with the police unless u are doing something they have instructed you not to. (in other words, they are going to 'warn' you first!) always have respect for the law and they should respect you.

I recently went through a round of "discovery" and even though I asked my lawyer to preset the situation along with whatever links I could find their final decision was to disallow it due to it being unkown.

After about the 3rd hour of constant "bathroom breaks", they were frustrated enough to finally say just go ahead.

Since I had brought a basic 510 with no led (basically looked like a black pen) I simply told them..... "I already have been" lol... then they kinda hmmfffpptt and we carried on without needing the breaks nor disguising the vapor with a fake cough into my sleeve.

Don't know how that will go over in court mind you (if it even goes that far), but time will tell.

Last week I had my first opportunity to go through the scanners and security at the county court house with my PV. I was a bit curious to see if my purse would get hand-inspected. I had an assembled 510 in a case with a small bottle of e-liquid, and my PCC with a spare battery, carts, etc.

Nada... I walked right through, collected my purse, etc. and went to my meeting. I vaped outside the courtroom to the amusement of a couple of attorneys who were really curious about it and the prospect of using it to quit smoking.

On my way home from that grueling day.... I got pulled over :( I had my e-cig and PCC on the passenger seat next to me. I've never, ever gotten a ticket and I was visibly upset. The police officer didn't notice it, or if he did - didn't say anything about it. He did give me a ticket for speeding though - my very first. Arrghh.

So, next week, I'll go to traffic court and I'll have my vaping gear with me, and I'll see what happens there :)

Probably about as well as if you unwrapped a sandwich or opened a bottle of beer in court.

I'm lucky. I was one of the few smokers at work (and, by far, I smoked the most of any of them.) Everyone is delighted for me that I quit. I have my own office but I don't close the door to vape. I told the people who sit near me to tell me if the smell bothers them (raspberry, banana nut bread...) and they've all said they didn't even realize I had been doing it inside.
