Has anyone tried Ariva smokeless tobacco tablets? Do you like them? I found them one day while I was trying to find out why Camel orbs haven;t been out on the market yet. They are very similar to Camel orbs. Kind of a nice discreet way to get a nic fix. Like the java flavor. They come in java and wintergreen.

Of course it says on the side label that they "might cause tooth decay" but so does candy :) oh well...

Add me to the list of new owners of the Joye 510..happy vaping, all

I loved the Java Stonewall tablets but they were pretty strong. I couldn't stop hiccuping.

Hun its the sugars and ick that is making you do that, I almost vomit if I use camel and some portions due to the sugar content.

I call BS!! on camel snus and orbs NOT being marketed to kids. It is overly sweet almost child like in flavor.

It is a per market basis, here they have sticks, orbs and fruit roll up style fresh strips. ALL ARE CRAP!!

Oh Dredbull, you've contributed much here but it's the callout on dissolvables that is BS, not the dissolvables.

And it is NOT sugar or sweetness that causes hiccups. It's swallowed nicotine. That happens to many users of swallowed tobacco juice products. But it has never happened to me.

Also, Stonewall and Ariva use an artificial sweetener, not sugar. Some objections on the Star Scientific forum are actually against the sweetener. People find boogeymen wherever they look ...

These are not and never have been, ever, even once, marketed to children. Ariva came on the market in 2002; Stonewall in 2004. The company has consistently insisted against sales to minors. What else can a company do? It has complied with every tobacco product regulation.

It began with a patented curing process that produces -- still -- the lowest TSNAs of any tobacco product. No snus can match the Ariva/Stonewall figures. These are great products that I depend on more than any other. I will not tolerate untruths and inaccuracies to remain unchallenged.

Do your research and tell me you aren't impressed with what Star Scientific has done (copied by RJR for its new dissolvables).

beckah54, I was just checking around yesterday for both of these and found:

Stonewall has 4.0mg of nicotine per piece and
Ariva only has 1.5mg of nicotine per piece

I haven't done it yet, but I'm thinking of trying both to see which one I like the best. And I'm one that tends to have hickups, also.(s).

Firechick, Thanks for the information on Hessmart and Rite-Aid, I didn't know that.

What can be done, Tropical Bob, about the hiccups? I really liked the flavor of the Java Stonewall, but there is no way I can do it discreetly because I can't stop hiccuping.
beckah54......Generally the hiccups subside after awhile. While I have never had them myself,I do know others whom have had them go away after a brief bout or two!! I guess time will tell in your case!!Good Luck!:)The Wiz!

No arias or stonewall seller out here. So I should reserve judgement on those 2.

As far as camel orbs.. overly sick and sweet.

TB I have to say I did a test yesterday when I got home before I zonked out for 12 hours.

RJR strip, orb snus vs. a pris of oden es kanel, and oden es portion.

I do find rjr is instant tummy rumbles and almost heaves. No not the nic the sweet is what puts me over the edge.

The Oden's es stuff is 17mg per portion and the los is subjective, no tummy upset in fact it has been right as rain unless I swallow a good sized portion of the pris. No hicups no tums needed, IF i do swallow a good portion of the pris on acident I am in for a good sized bout of .... tuba that is about it.

Around here the rjr ads for orbs are near all the energy drinks, softdrinks etc. It does appear to me leaned more for younger aged placement NOT adults. So my view point is that the suppliers to the shops, gas stations etc are placing them for more a visual impact and near the energy drink ads. The overly sweet make up and the ad placement has me wondering if RJR is not playing fairly in the smokeless fight.

So if arias and stonewall is doing it for you great, I will reserve judgement on that but on my way to work I will take pics of the orbs adverts and placement as I see them to show you why I think they are pushing for the underage population around here.

I hear you. No way would I support any advertising or product placement aimed at underage users. But I wouldn't put it above RJR.

I've not had a chance to try any of the RJR dissolvable products, since they're not yet sold nationwide. The Camel snus hit many users as way too sweet, to the point of being sickeningly sweet. I was okay with its taste, but not its nicotine kick (virtually none). And it's too expensive for what you get.

I keep a wide range of snus strengths and tastes on hand, and simply pick the one I want from the refrigerator. But, like Wiz, Stonewall is my go-to morning nicotine item and my after-meal must. One fellow on the Stonewall forum starts his day with four in his mouth at the same time!

Hiccups do usually go away, BTW. Many new snusers report hiccups when they start out.

Thanks for the information, Wiz and TB. I'll keep trying them while I am at home to see if the hiccups do subside.

ok so my am safari this morning, pictures were not forth coming but should have been at the jackhole rjr rep putting an orb sign up and behind the call of duty cut out.the side of the hostess cupcakes and the side of the 5 hour energy drinks.I was trying to take pics and the BT rep was flipping out. darn near got the cops called on me and nearly getting trespassed from the mall.so arivas and stonewall maybe good but rjr is on my S****list.

Wow. Most disturbing.

And we wonder why anti's come crashing down on all smoke-free products for being "marketed to children." If we'd take off the blinders, we might see it their way, given instances like this. This cannot be tolerated. Marketing tobacco products next to energy drinks and video games is way out-of-line. Not a little. WAY out of line ...
