Anyone tried BiteXtra / 0mg nicotine with throat hit

I've just ordered some BiteXtra Full Hit Zero Nicotine from Flavourart.

Has anyone tried this? Does it produce a convincing, nicotine-like throat-hit?

What I would really like is a Skycig / Go-lites style simple, small e-cig that has 0mg nicotine but with a convincing throat hit. Has anyone found a product that does this in the UK? Does anyone know if such a thing is in the pipeline?

I reckon this would be a massive deal! I'm sure I'm not the only one who loves the throat hit, but hates the nicotine.

I use their 0 nic flavourings and think they are very good. As for the other question sounds like you already have the answer. Buy empty carto's and add your own would be simplest. Hope that helps

For me it works but you really need to try for yourself as peoples tastes are very different.

Great thanks. Good to get some feedback on it. Have you tried both the Full Hit and the Smooth varieties? How do they differ and which do you prefer? What flavours do you mix with the BiteXtra?

Edit: Also, how does the BiteXtra throat hit differ from nicotine throat hit?

I've bought the flavours with the bitextra already in. The flavs i got were Perique FH, vanilla Tahiti FH and Strawberry FH. I use the Perique with just a couple of drops to add to other flavours, it is very strong and does not need a lot all. I would not use it on it's own, vanilla and the strawberry is very good. As with all their flavours would recommend steeping for a few days to get the best out of them.

I've never found a product yet that gives a throat hit just like nicotine does, which should be the comparison point. It may provide enough throat "sensation" or "irritation" to make 0 nic vaping acceptable. Hope it works for you.

The BiteXtra arrived this morning. I'm not sure what to make of it yet.

It is not at all similar to the throat hit of nicotine, where you feel the whole of your throat heat up and burn slightly.

With this there is a slight tickle on the throat on some drags. It is not the same feeling of heat/burn though - instead it kinda feels like you've temporarily caught a few flakes of black pepper on your throat.

As to whether this will suffice for me for the time being, I'm not sure yet.

Does anyone know of a better product?

I really hope something better than this comes out soon...

Thanks for the update. As is typical with these "so-called" throat hit additives, they can't duplicate the TH from nicotine. Most have some form of pepper in them that isn't anything like the TH from nicotine.

You will have a few on ECF tell you that this or that additive gives great TH but the key point is "few". If there was an additive that really could duplicate the TH from nicotine, it would be flying off the shelves and everyone would know about it.

My suggestion is to try adding some menthol eliquid to your regular eliquid or just see if you could start to like 0 nic menthol eliquid. It provides a throat sensation but without the unpleasant irritation of these other additives.

Thanks for the advice. I do like the throat sensation of menthol (though it's not quite the same). However I find I can't vape menthol all day - it doesn't mix well with a lot of things that I eat / drink etc. But yeah I might try adding a little bit to other flavours as you suggest.

Do you guys think there will ever be an additive that is safe/non-addictive and mimics the nic throat hit well?
