Hey every one, just looking at Gourmet Vapor and thinking about trying some flavors. So I wanted to get some imputed from some of you who have tried some of there flavors. There are so many to choose from and you can even create your own. Also extra shots can be added to them and any ratio of PG and vg can be used. I have a few questions. First, do there flavors need to have extra shots added or is there plenty of flavor already, and was it necessary to steep. Second, they recommended an 80% PG to 20% vg for as they put it "great flavor and ok vapor". I haven't experimented much with different ratios of pg and vg and don't really know what I've been using. I know alien visions hype which I like is only 10% PG and 80% vg and v4l's wow pepperment which I like I have no idea what it is, and I'm really not sure how they will differ with different ratios of PG and vg so if any one can give me some info on this as well I'd appreciate it. I like fruity flavors and minty flavors, really dislike anything with any hint of tobacco. Last I have heard some bad things about shipping, how bad is it or is it bad at all?

I just got several bottles from them at the 80/20 ratio and wasn't initally very impressed with either flavor or vapor. I'm going to let them sit for a week or so and try it again. But.....the shipping time was reasonable, 4-5 days from placement of order to my door.

What flavors did you try and did you add any extra flavor shots?

I bought some stuff from them about a year ago and the CS was terrible. My package was about a month in arriving, I never got a tracking number, it was supposed to be shipped with a signature required for delivery and I never knew when to be home to sign for it, and several emails asking for a tracking number or any information were completely ignored. That was the first and last order I'll ever place with them.

EDIT: I tried putting the link in for those who still wanted it, but when a link shows up like this it means that ECF has blocked that web address, usually because of a poor service record.

I ordered triple flavor because I was using an ego at the time and never could get much flavor out of it. What they sent me turned out to be too strong (what I get for ordering 3x) but also had a odd taste even after diluting with VG. It also didn't seem to vape normally, very thin vapor which may very well been caused by the high percentage of flavor. I never did end up using the juice if anything my doctoring of it or trying to blend it with other juices made it worse.

I suspect they did have a customer service issue in the past, but they seem to have worked that out. My order was processed timely. I think I didn't care for the 80/20 they suggested and should have stuck with my 60-40 or 50-50 to get the vapor production I like. FriedLiver is right, very thin vapor and inconsistent. Liver, you did take away my hope that they might improve with steeping or mixing

Their huge list of juice choices can be overwhelming, but some are very good. The complaints I've read have been about shipping delays and their previous use of Nicotine base from Box Elder, a sister company. I'm not their biggest fan, but here's my recent experience. When they put on one of their 40% or 50% off sales they are make to order and it gets slow. In their newsletter about the most recent sale they said "Please allow up to 10 to 14 days for delivery during our sale" My last (sale) order in January took seven days to arrive. They changed their nicotine base source to Myfreedomsmokes and my last order was a little lighter in color and taste than previous ones.

As for flavors, we have a couple that we really like and reorder - Blue Marble (#18) is my wife's second favorite menthol flavor and I really like Perique Blackberry(#83), which is mostly blackberry. The best way is to search for reviews which identify the flavor number, as there are many with the sameor similar names but possibly different user-requested blends. There are some here on ECF and YouTube as well. The fruit flavors I sampled are generally light in flavor and would probably be better with a flavor boost and a 30% vg ratio of you want a bit more vapor.

Our experience has been good, but a little patience and experimentation with small bottles is necessary. I like the sales - at $7.78/30ml I can wait a bit!

The whole concept of choosing your own blend while sounding appealing is unfortunately inherently flawed. When making DIY juice with mixtures of flavors generally it takes several attempts (with small amounts) to get a mixture that works. So it is unlikely that you could take a stab at a mixture that someone else is doing and get a result that you would like.

they do have good 50% off sales so i have tried several (bananas foster, ry4, maiden coffee, and raz cotton candy) -- all in high VG. The bananas foster was good and the raz is my daughter's very favorite juice, but in my opinion really not standout juice -- although worth a try if you can get the 50% off sale. For full price, i probably wouldnt buy it.

I order from Gourmet Vapor all the time, Chocolate Lust is my all day vape. I stick with the 80/20 as it produces a consistent vapor and taste on my ego. As stated by another poster the shipping does take a little more time during the big sales, but that is stated on their facebook page and emails with the sale code. During the last sale I ordered on a Friday and had it in my mailbox on Monday.

Gourmet Vapor is my favorite place to buy juice and they have tons of great ones. They seem expensive at first but they have many 50% off sales, you can see them advertised here and they also send emails after you have ordered. They mail fast unless there is a sale and then they warn you that it could take awhile because of volume. I like 80/20 mix or all PG sometimes.

I like chocolates and my all time fav is Chocolate Eclair but there are many great chocolate choices.

I order from them all the time. I'm not too thrilled with some vendors that are ECF approved, and some that aren't on here are the bomb-diggity. I'm not big on anyone dictating who I buy what from.

I'm a rebel. A loner. Don't get too attached.

oh come on now! for heaven's sake, ecf is not dictating who you can buy from! I for one appreciate that ecf has "approved" vendors, but that doesn't mean I like them all...or that I have to !

I ordered from GV twice in the past and the customer service was so horrible I was mad at myself for ordering the second time and they permanently lost me as a customer. but that is just my experience and of course, people can order from whom they wish.......
