I bought the Hello016 from madvapes which is like a Ego on steroids. It comes with a 1400 Mah battery and the atty is built into the cone. It tastes different then a regular 510 but pretty good.

The only thing is that when I screw on a regular 510 atty into the battery it covers up the air holes and makes it hard to vape but if you give it a 1/4 turn back it is ok.

But sorry can't tell you about the new xl battery.

I didn't learn to do the back turn with my 016 until after I had tore apart three cartomizers thinking they didn't work.

It kind of sucks to have to do that but at least you don't have to do it so far that the atty is loose. I watched the video that Grimmgreen did on that mod called the Billet and that had the same problem with the 510 atty.

I have both the 900mAh batt (from heaven gifts) only 13mm longer (same diameter and .038kg in weight) as the kit batt (.033kg in weight).

The 1000mAh batt from TW a whole inch (25.4 mm) longer than the kit batt. People had mentioned how well they think the original kit batt is 'balance' and lightweight, etc. And I agree but the 900mAh (which I've been getting 10hours + ) on each recharge, isn't too big a difference in 'feel/balance', imo. However, the 1000mAh (nothing against janty or TW) seems to ruin the balance and feel that I think most people like on the eGo and the extra 100mAh doesn't seem to make that much of a difference in recharge time to me. I'll likely sell the 1000mAh and keep the 900's.

That said, the 1000 is about the size of a Protege and a heck of a lot cheaper and lasts just as long as the 14500 but I'm thinking doesn't come up to the peak voltage performance of the 14500 - I prefer the Protege for vapor alone and the size is about the same as the 1000mAh - the 1000mAh batt with atty being a bit lighter and 2 mm thinner.

Thanks for describing the differences between the two XL batteries, I think I've decided to order the 900mah ones at goodprophets.

I don't think you'll be disappointed.

For those that think 2 650mAh eGo batts won't get them through the day or for those that are wishing for an 'eGo PCC' this 900mAh batt and another kit batt should solve the problem, if two kit batts aren't enough for your day and night out. :)
