Kicking the eGo up a notch

I got my eGo LR Mega atty (cylinder/"type B") from goodprophets.com. I bought 2. One is for backup, though my primary one is still going strong after a month of constant vaping. I can't say for sure whether the USB 650 battery gives it a harder hit compared to a standard 650 eGo battery since I only have the USB one, but using it as a PT pretty much provides an endless vaping session.

I have the Joye ego with the regular 510 atomizer. My husband was all about upgrading the joye ego and he ordered the mega low resistance atomizer. I was a little skeptical at first but I am really impressed. I am waiting till payday to order me the mega low resistance atomizer. The 510 was great but the low resistance mega atty blows the 510 out of the water. I would definitely recommend purchasing at least one and see how you like it.

You may want to get a Leo. Read up on them. If I am not mistaken, its a true 3.7 (more than the ego) and has about 600mah batteries

As a dripper fanatic, I failed to recommend getting drip-tips with LR atties since the extra heat has the possibility of melting carts. I'm not saying it's a necessity, but it's something to keep in mind. jm_joslin, I don't know if your husband also drips or uses carts, but if he's fine with whatever method he uses his LRs, I'm sure he'll tell you what works for him.

Godzilla has a good point with voltage on the batteries. I made my informed decision to use them after reading up on the potential effect LRs may have on eGo types. Just keep in mind, that it doesn't adversely affect everybody's eGo, but there's always a chance that it might.

Thanks for the good advice, Phil - I wish now that I had ordered a USB pass through battery and drip tips along with the LR atties, maybe I could have saved on shipping!

"If going to a LR atomizer, I recommend dripping." Sorry jplanet, I forget sometimes when in the new users forum to be very specific... you don't have to have drip tips to drip, though it does make it easier. THey are very inexpensive and if your shipment hasn't shipped yet, CALL good prophets and ask him to add it to your order. He is a great vendor btw.
