Our local Wally World (a "Superstore", no less.....!!) has next to nothing for flavorings/sweeteners....!! Certainly LOOKS promising!!
Keep us posted on your results using this.....wondering if it's the same "flavoring" LorAnn sells on its website...??!

Hmm it was only 5 bucks but i didn't buy it. I figured I'd do some research first before ruining my juice. It looks pretty legit though, pure Madagascar vanilla bourbon. Gonna gooogle it up some more as it doesn't seem anyone here has seen/used it.

Yea looks decent. No clue how concentrated it is though. 4oz for 5 bucks. My walmart isn't a super walmart thank god so it might be readily available. The only reason I'm interested is lorann makes it.

Agreed.

I also have a couple jars of vanilla beans that hAve been steeping for a month so far. Beanilla is a great site, good prices on the beans too.

I almost bought that exact vanilla at Safeway last week. I opted for a vanilla bean to extract. Anyone have tips on vanilla extraction? I was going to use the same technique as coffee extraction but don't know of the beans need to be crushed or not and how many beans?

I've been trying to Extract from Vanilla Beans, but haven't succeeded yet. Good luck!

3 beans per 100ml maybe. Heard so many conflicting reports on the subject. Split them down the middle or cut into small pieces. Wait 3 months.

if the vanilla is made for baking it will stand up to the heat of a coil but if its made for flavoring it will be too weak.

My latest Extraction is going to be four months. I decided to get the Vanilla Extract while I'm waiting.

Doesn't matter you'll just have to mix and see, try starting @ 5%

Yea true. It would be impossible to say for sure as all extracts would be different. Homemade atleast.
